This time, they had a stand up at Strong Rope Brewery in Red Hook, and it's a lifesaving addition over there. This last one kind of stole the show, and I'm almost always a meaty Petey. Basically, pair any empanada with some of their pineapple habanero sauce and you have a serious flavor bomb on your hands. Come hungry because the portions are huge and reasonably priced for this area. $7.00 will get you lamb and chicken over rice, side salad and a soda. The only thing I don't recommend is a lamb gyro. Here's why and feel free to call me crazy but the lamb is chopped into small bits. When you get a gyro elsewhere the meat is in strips.
