I have always had a hard time finding a hairstylist that will understand how to work with my wavy, frizzy, and coarse hair, but Mady just gets it. The last few times, she gave me exactly what I was looking for, but also made sure to debulk my hair so that it wouldn't feel too heavy because I have A LOT of hair. No one has ever offered to do that for me and it felt so amazing! She was able to thin out some of the hair and have it feeling so lightweight without taking anything away from the volume or cut. In the past I've been not so thrilled with how my hair turned out, especially since I'm not asking for anything out of the ordinary. The last couple of times from other stylists my ends have looked choppy, and I have to curl it inward to hide it. I communicated my concern to Christy, who asked me lots of questions, took her time, and even gave me some advice on some hair products I was using. The most memorable moment was when she asked me to stand up from my chair toward the end so that she could check her work to make sure that my ends were even.
