Mady gets it right! EVERY! TIME! This is my third time coming to her and I always leave feeling so happy and loving my hair! I have always had a hard time finding a hairstylist that will understand how to work with my wavy, frizzy, and coarse hair, but Mady just gets it. The last few times, she gave me exactly what I was looking for, but also made sure to debulk my hair so that it wouldn't feel too heavy because I have A LOT of hair. No one has ever offered to do that for me and it felt so amazing! She was able to thin out some of the hair and have it feeling so lightweight without taking anything away from the volume or cut. This time, I got some changes to my hair color as well, including some highlights. She worked so quickly and was always attentive. The studio is also super nice and comfortable, so I honestly didn't feel the wait at all! I love how my hair turned out in the end. Not happy with their staff's work on my hair. I asked for a full highlights but didnt get it. You wouldn't see any changes when you look at my hair only on the back. So I didnt get noticed even without expecting it. They want to charge me more for partial highlights. They made me sign the form but they didnt honor full highlights. I only got partial highlights. After a google search I gave this salon a call, I specifically told the person on the phone I have bleached blonde hair and needed to find someone who specializes in blonde hair because I needed it toned and needed a cut. I was told they had someone perfect for me and I went ahead and scheduled, unfortunately for me. I went to the appt and met Raelynn who was to do my hair. In a nutshell I explained I wanted my hair toned to a more natural looking light blonde. My hair was extremely light. I'm not a professional and don't know all the terms of hair coloring but she decided on doing a root tap and tone. A dark color was tapped all over my roots, I was told it just looked dark but will wash out. The rest of my hair was toned and it came out like two different colors, dark ugly gold copper roots and grayish blonde ends. I was assured not to worry that as the toner washes out it will all blend. I got a tiny trim done on my dry and kinked hair but was concentrating on the color. I paid for the toner and a cut. When I get home I examined my hair and realize how bad it looked. I messaged Raelynn back immediately. She did call me and seemed very understanding on the phone. She stated that she realized she may have went too dark and that I could come back and she would remove the toner and start over. I was ok with this and went back. A Malibu color remover was placed on my hair, this was repeatedly rubbed into my scalp until my scalp was fluorescent pink, itching and burning. This didn't remove all the copper/ gold so she then applied a bleach bath and toned again. I asked for more hair cut off because it looked uneven still and then she dried and curled my hair. The roots were still gold and the ends ashy. Another stylist there commented on me needed to baby my burnt scalp and stated that once the toner rinsed out it would blend better because the roots were still very gold. I was placed out front under a light and she took pictures of my hair. Admittedly the pictures did not look bad, you can slightly see the gold but of course the front of my hair and roots did not get a picture. I also got charged for another hair cut. I went home and had to sit under an ice cold shower to calm my scalp, and conditioned my hair. My hair looked like absolute crap. The roots were very gold. I messaged Raelynn right away and asked for a refund on the color portion since she obviously didn't know what to do. She seemed very understanding and said she would see what she could do. I got a message back from her basically blaming me for my hair. Apparently you are never allowed to wash your hair after toning (news to me). And blonde is difficult which I why I asked for someone with the capability to work on it. The response obviously came from the poor management of this salon and as of now I'm out of luck with a burnt scalp and ugly hair. Paid for 2 hair cuts and hair damage. I see that someone recently had a similar experience and it is very sad at the lack of professionalism and care. Hair is important to people and can really affect you. If I could go back in time and go somewhere with integrity I obviously would. I was lied to from the moment I scheduled this appointment. read more

The management at this place is absolutely awful. They will gaslight you and just treat you absolutely terribly. I was in a couple of months ago for a hair color and cut and they ruined all of it. They did not do the correct color whatsoever and then when I showed her the reference photos, the manager who was not there at the time she said that's exactly what you wanted when it was very clear from the photos that it was not what I wanted. Then she refused to give me any sort of refund or fix it in any type of way and told me again that that's what you asked for, when it was not what I asked for , very very clearly and anyone could see that from the photos. I've since seen another stylist who said they probably use the wrong color dye on me and then didn't want to admit that they fucked up. read more

Nina has been phenomenal not only is she so kind and fun to visit with but she also does an amazing job with my hair and gives the best washes I've ever had. I actually fell in love with this studio the moment I stepped inside. It's beautifully decorated with roomy stations for each stylist. They carry Kerastase products which I love. I believe I finally found a stylist named Paige that could cut layers the old school way by actually cutting with the scissors and not shearing! I have been seeing Paige B. as my hairstylist for the last two years. She does an awesome job coloring, conditioning, cutting and styling my hair. When I first started going to her, my hair was in desperate need of some love because it was in bad health. I had lots of breakage, split ends and very dry brittle hair. She knew immediately what the problem was. After the first and each succeeding Color & conditioning treatment, I noticed a huge difference. In the last year we have tweaked a few more things and the condition of my hair is the best ever! My hair health now is A+++++ it is so healthy, shiny, no split ends, no breakage, and no longer dry! I love this place so much! I found it after moving to Folsom and I am so glad I did! I've always struggled to find a place I like in the US but this is the one! The vibe is great there, the staff are amazing and welcoming and I've always walked out happy. Everyone is super sweet! I've had the pleasure to work with Nina both times and she is one of the best hairdressers and people I've met. She is very attentive of what you want, keeps in touch with you after visits and is so fun to work with. When I've gone there I've always done a drastic change with style and length and she has made the experience nothing but relaxing and great. She advises you on certain things and gives your her opinion but also supports your overall decision on what to do and she does is perfectly! Also prices are amazing! Nowadays it's so hard to book a place that is reasonably priced and has great service and amazing people. They even have a deal where if you were to refer someone both you and them would get $20 off your visit (yourself for your next visit and your friend for their first one). My stylist Paige was the sweetest and very helpful. She helped me figure out what I wanted and offered many helpful tips and advice. Ultimately I got a light trim and curled my hair. Paige is the friendliest Person I have yet to do my hair. She made me feel so comfortable. She fixed my bad hair color and cut from a previous hair stylist and I am just so happy I have found her. I highly recommend her for color and cutting. She took her time foiling my hair, washing and just making sure I was happy when I left the salon. Finally!! -- I finally discovered a Folsom esthetician unhesitantly demolishes blackheads. The facial by Dawn was effective and cost $75. Otherwise my feelings are lukewarm for this salon. I arrived early and my appointment started ten minutes late. (Although the facial lasted for the full 60 minutes.) The receptionist focused more on organizing receipts than helping the customers.
