Unfortunately we recently lost. Our daughter and grief is a bitch, my wife is having a hard day today and decided she didn't have the energy to make it to the appointment. If I had known there was a cancellation fee. $100 is a bit steep to charge somebody. Just because they can't make it. Never again am I stepping foot in The Colour Chemistry Salon. I hope you learned your lesson, never take an appointment and not say there is a cancellation fee.

For claiming that she has 20 years of experience I can not believe she would do such a bad job to my hair. I asked for a balayage and all I got for 6 hours in her chair was chunky 90s unblended highlights. There is no way anyone is willing to fix my hair and Tasha takes zero accountability. Instead she says you left happy. She curled my hair to hide all the mistakes and no one would be able to clearly see the back. It wasn't until I washed my hair and realized that this isn't what I asked for. I had to go to a family friend and once I sat in her chair she took a picture of my hair from the back and you can clearly see that Tasha does not know what a balayage is. I am beyond heartbroken and extremely disappointed. She denied me a refund and took no accountability in her mistakes. Now I'm stuck and I spent hundreds to go blonde only to now being forced to dye my hair black because no amount of toning can fix the uneven mess of my hair. The curled hair pic is the picture she took of me and the second pic is what my ACTUAL hair looks like( WHAT SHE LEFT ME WITH) and yes as a hairstylist she let me walk out like that. Unbelievable and ridiculous. DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND AND WOULD NEVER SIT IN HER CHAIR AGAIN

Rachelle immediately made me feel comfortable and took the time to really understand my hair and what I wanted. My hair was extremely frizzy and needed a lot of clarifying, and she worked her magic. She removed the buildup, cut off my dead ends, and gave me the most beautiful soft layers while still keeping my length. My hair instantly felt lighter, healthier, and so refreshed. It also lays so much better now and looks cute even with very little styling. What I appreciated most was how thoughtful and careful she was with my hair. I never felt rushed, and she clearly understands how to work with thick hair and texture. I left feeling so happy with the result. I honestly can't wait to go back to her for my next haircut and styling, which says a lot because I usually avoid getting my hair cut out of fear of it being butchered. If you have thick, frizzy, or difficult hair and want someone you can truly trust, Rachelle is amazing.

I had a mixture of old blond, with new white/gray and dark outgrow with definite outgrow line that kept getting longer. I wanted to embrace the white/gray but brighten up some of the dark. I'd tried this with another hairdresser and my hair was damaged and dry-and blond that easily leaned brassy so I was reticent to try again. I was tempted to cut it all short. My outgrow wasn't working and I had a special occasion coming up so I needed to do something. Mayra took the time to really listen to what I wanted and then she talked me through each of the steps she had planned for me. Her finished product was beautiful-and my hair felt healthy. Mayra blended the gray and white back into the outgrown blond, highlighted a few of the dark pieces at my crown and I am once again rockin' my gray. She gave me a cut that shows off the colors she blended-wow! I've received a lot of compliments, even from people I don't know, and have referred a few friends to Mayra who are also very happy and love their hair. Win win. I'm grateful my friend insisted I go and happy I went to Mayra. She's very talented and constantly expanding her skills.
