I love the way our first appointment turned out and the color grew out amazing and blended so well even a few months later! Walking into this salon was the best decision I've made in a long time. This is exactly what a salon should be: clean, calm, and genuinely family-friendly. The entire staff is courteous and professional--no cursing, no inappropriate behavior, just respectful conversation the whole time. They're also very health-conscious; everyone agrees that smoking is harmful and has no place in a client environment, and you'll never see a cigarette anywhere near the chairs. I have always had a hard time finding a hairstylist that will understand how to work with my wavy, frizzy, and coarse hair, but Mady just gets it. The last few times, she gave me exactly what I was looking for, but also made sure to debulk my hair so that it wouldn't feel too heavy because I have A LOT of hair. In the past I've been not so thrilled with how my hair turned out, especially since I'm not asking for anything out of the ordinary. The last couple of times from other stylists my ends have looked choppy, and I have to curl it inward to hide it. I communicated my concern to Christy, who asked me lots of questions, took her time, and even gave me some advice on some hair products I was using. The most memorable moment was when she asked me to stand up from my chair toward the end so that she could check her work to make sure that my ends were even.
