Run, don't walk to Emma's on Liberty. Just make sure you book first! This amazeballs Lebanese restaurant is always packed to the rafters. It is seriously good food. And BYO to boot ($3.50 corkage per head). Every time I've been (and I'm always dying to go back), it's been with a group of friends and we've gone for the banquet. Itall ends up about about $50 a head, which sounds expensive but you'll seriously be waddling out of there. In fact, wear your stretchy pants. We'll usually opt for a mix of the meat and vegetarian banquet options Meat: selection of hommous, tabouli, falafel, ladies fingers, potato, chicken and lamb skewer - $40 per person Vego: selection of hommous, tabouli, falafel, potato, lentils, oven eggplant and fried cauliflower - $40 per person. But I'm seriously tempted to go back and just order copious amounts of the oven eggplant AND the smokey baba ganouge. I'm aware that's a total eggplant overload - I don't even care. Everything here is so damned good that you'll have trouble leaving room for dessert. Try. And here's a hint: take it easy on the bread with oil and spices that goes on the table to start with. You'll want to save that for the hommous and baba. And don't eat lunch.

Superb food, bad location but who cares, when it's this good it's worth it.

Very expensive for cremated meat and vegetables cooked in burnt oil. Big downhill slide from last time. Never again.

There's something mesmerising about a rack of flattened chicken rotating over glowing coals to the…read moreroar of a hair dryer. And Oricco's is all the better for it. I only popped in for a quick snack - falafel, chips and garlic sauce - somewhat astounding the patriarch of the joint with my small order; "ONLY one falafel and chips??" Probably not something they're used to given the many large platters I saw being carried out whilst I ate. But despite my odd order, these guys went above and beyond plating it up with a small pile of salad, pickles and tahini sauce. These guys knew what I needed even before I did; the perfect palate cleanser after that delicious fattiness! The falafel was little disappointing; a bit dry and sadly not reheated but the chips were freshly fried in that perfect, chicken shop style - a mixture of soft and crispy with a sprinkling of chicken salt. The garlic sauce? Thick, creamy, and enough garlic to make sure everyone in a 5km radius will smell you coming. I smelt like garlic and smoke the rest of the day, and boy was everyone jealous!

These guys do a mean chicken roll, you know, with actual chicken bits that have been flat roasted…read morearound and around. Their hot chips are totally yummy and I think I could happily eat that as a meal in itself if it didn't horrify most of my friends that I don't touch the chicken... Their garlic sauce is creamy and delish. You'll be sweating it out for days, I promise. They have a range of salads available inside as well as other Lebanese dishes from Kibbe to falafel. Seating is available inside and outside, usually this place can get pretty busy so when I was living around the corner I'd call up and order and then walk up 10 minutes later to pick up.
