Having lots of animals means your carpets get dirty quickly. It was time for a good carpet cleaning and based on the great yelp reviews I called Eminent. They did a great job cleaning the carpets and removed almost all of the stains. They were friendly and fast with fair pricing. I was told an estimate over the phone and they stuck to that which I really like. We had 2 rooms cleaned and a set of stairs. After I checked everything out when they left, I noticed they didn't clean the landing at the top of the stairs?! Maybe that was extra, but there were a bunch of stains still left. It's a very small landing and it would have been very easy to do. I ended up getting some vinegar and trying to do it myself. I'm not sure if it was overlooked or if I was not clear that it was to be cleaned to. That was the only disappointing thing. read more

Adrian and his partner, Sebastian, came out to our home on Saturday to clean our carpets which included 2 bedrooms, a loft, a hallway and a staircase. We have two 80 lb. dogs, so we desperately need to have the carpets cleaned. They were prompt and very professional. The whole thing took about an hour. You could see the improvement almost immediately. I didn't smell anything but clean, disinfected carpets. Adrian even showed me what came up out of my carpet - which made me gag a little bit - a softball sized ball of fur, hair and dirt (ick!). He charged me the same price that was quoted to me on the phone $173. Upon drying (about 4 hours), the carpets looked as good as they did when we first had them installed. Called to get a quote, indicated that we had large living room (17' x 17' which counts as two rooms), 4 other rooms, and stairs. Quoted by room and stairs. Spotless in Pleasanton quoted by sq feet and per step, which was over 2X of what Adrian quoted. On the day of the service he called as he was running a little about 40 mins late, no problem. He and two of his staff arrived and started immediately. Did the job in 1.5 hours. Went over areas as needed to take care of stains, which I didn't even notice. When he was done he asked for less than the quote since it was a quick job for him and his crew. Great job!! Although the coupons that come in the mail appear to be lower in price, I prefer supporting local businesses. I'm sure those coupon guys also try to upsell, Adrian didn't. They showed up early and got right to work. They quoted me two hours for a three bed 1400sq ft townhouse. It took about an hour. The place looks great. Adrian and his coworker we very professional. I did a walk through later in the day and they did an awesome job. A couple stains I was worried about came right out.
