Brought the little for a surprise Pedi. Came in as a walk-in and we were both seated instantly. Each pedi was $30 not bad $1/min. All was well, clean inside. The foot tubs did look a little dirty in the creveces, not too bad since it wasn't inside of my actual foot bath. Nonetheless they should clean thoroughly around the outside of the foot tubs. Massage was great, extra pressure on me! Awesome for these tired legs of mine. My only suggestion is that they incorporate Nitrile gloves for customers. I have a bad latex allergy and once my foot got a feel of the latex glove it started to get red, and my whole body started to itch and it took me a while to catch on. It was towards the end of my session that I realized it was the latex glove. Thankfully I was done before it could have gotten way worse. I gave this place the benefit of the doubt and tried it again for the third time and it has been constantly bad. After I left the salon, takin a closer look, I saw polish all over my toes and realized she never put a top coat. It was the fastest manicure pedicure I have ever gotten. She never asked what type of pedicure I wanted, which is fine but I was also charged a good amount for mediocre service.. Shame on me for not going back and showing them the polish on my toes, the fact that I didn't get a topcoat on my pedicure. I really wanted to be able to depend/like this place since it's so close to my house. I read the reviews and I really want/wanted that same experience that some people seem to have. We (meaning my son & I {he is my Pedi-partner}) have been here more than a few times and even spaced it out by months in between. But alas...I can say it's time for us to move on. This review is based on pedicures only. I don't get manicures until I know I'm happy with a place for the Pedi's first...it's just my thing since I don't get many Mani's and like to make it count when I/we do. The staff is very friendly, it's clean and located in a great location for the folks living in the nearby subdivisions and especially Palencia. I can't remember who I've had on previous visits, but on the most recent visit I had Kim. Doesn't matter who I had before, but I've had the same similar experiences. A standard Pedi last about 45 minutes give or take at most places, but not here. Here...from start to finish, including slippers put on and payment, it was 26 minutes. It's is beyond fast. Hey, if this is your thing, good for you. For us and for the price...I expect to enjoy the Pedi. It's a treat for us, not an essential thing and it's not supposed to be speedy, nor are we in a race. That said, the massage on the feet and legs is just a quick rubbing and rather disappointing...every step was quick and disappointing for that matter. My son had a slightly better experience than me, but not by much...still said the massage was just ok. There was something strange going on with the massage chairs too...not a good experience. Without even thinking or blinking his shoes were on and he was done! However, my son was offered a bottle of water by his tech. I was never offered anything by Kim and I forgot they offered complimentary drinks until I wanted a drink and asked my son for a drink from his water bottle. By this time she was putting the polish on so we were close to being finished so I didn't ask. I shouldn't have to ask anyway! Besides, Kim saw me ask my son for a drink, at that point she could have at least asked and/or offered an apology for not offering anything to me or forgetting, but she didn't...she just smiled. I would have turned it down since we were clearly almost done in record time, but the gesture would have been nice at least. About that polish, I didn't realize until she was finished putting color on my first foot that there was no bottom coat on my toe nails. I asked her if she could put on a bottom coat and she just smiled at me and continued painting my nails with color. So, no bottom coat. It was a nice color though and painted them nicely other than that...but I like a bottom coat. The next thing I know my slippers (aka: flip flops) are on and I'm being asked to pay. The crazy thing I did was add a tip...why are we programmed or expected to add a tip when we receive mediocre treatment/care? (Of course, having people hover over you doesn't help and this is common at nail places in general.) read more

Price point is standard for what I've seen in the area, and they do a good job. Only dinging a star because my appointment felt rushed (a full gel manicure in 15 minutes flat). I think my nail tech was trying to get mine taken care of before her other client finished soaking. The tops of my nails are still a little tacky, probably because I didn't sit under the gel lamp long enough. Mediocre experience. Barely warm water for pedicure. I felt like it wasn't very clean. And they definitely did not clean contact surfaces. Tools are not cleaned between uses. I did not use the massage chair cause the remote was obviously dirty. It was quick and honestly not the treat I wanted it to be. After a year of no pedicures I just wanted to enjoy it. My legs were not rinsed very well after the initial scrub, and the hot stones were shoved on top and scratched me. I left with red marks on my legs. I will never be back. read more

Hands down worst nail experience I have ever had. I'm not a sensitive person at all or picky but the entire time the guy was filing my skin and drilling my nails down to where it hurt as well as ruining my cuticles. Along with that, I tried telling the guy to fix the shape of them and he just straight up couldn't fix them and told me it would cost 5 extra dollars!!!!!! They are extremely uneven on the sides and tops. To top it off, he took an hour and 15 minutes to do these!!!!! The longest appointment I've ever had for nails besides this one was about 35 minutes. My daughter and I went in on Tuesday for gel pedicures. The woman doing my pedicure cut me and it was obvious that she hurt me as I yelped and pulled my foot away. My daughter and her nail tech heard it. I called today to let them know that I have to go to a podiatrist as I'm concerned about infection since she cut me on the side of the nailbed and it hurts to walk. I also noted that my daughters gel had peeled off of two nails after 2 days. She said she'd let the owner know and offered to fix my daughters nail and give us a coupon. Trendy Nails is the best salon I've found. They have an appealing simple design inside, and great customer service. Affordable prices. And the nail technicians are very skilled. They do your nails quickly, and well. I'm always happy with the result! They adapt to your preferences when you're there, and what I mean by that is that if you want to sit quietly and read a magazine when you're getting a pedicure, they won't try to force you into conversation. I have a horrible thumb nail from an accident as a child. It had never grown back and looks hideous. For work I appear in videos and often on stage. My gnarly nail always made me self-conscious. And I bite my cuticles. So I went here and they have me a proper gentleman's manicure. Wow...what a difference. They put gel on the nasty thumb and our looks normal and doesn't snag my dress pants any longer. They taught me to care for my hands too. Now I go back regularly and they fix me up. Part of the joy of getting a pedicure is relaxing and getting a nice massage, but she rushed through and only gave me a minute on each leg. My daughter asked for an acrylic fill-in and they charged her $42 because they put gel on top of Acrylic without even asking her if she wanted gel or regular polish. I was excited to try this place - I was in town visiting my in laws and saw this place. Looked new and clean, I went for a pedicure and spent $45 for the spa manicure and it lasted 20 minutes and my nail polish was knicked upon leaving. None of my dry skin was scrubbed off either. Really disappointing. I also got a powder manicure and the guy put gel UV on top of it. He didn't trim my nails or cuticles at all and now my nail polish is chipping after 3 days and the matte finish powder is showing. So disappointed. This had been my home base for nail salons for about 4 years. The owners are usually working hard alongside their employees. I have noticed that employee retention is good, so they must be treating them well. The salon is always clean. I'm always greeted promptly. I do like to make an appointment before coming in to avoid waiting. Fortunately, I like to go during their slower hours. Usually, there aren't many customers during the work day. It tends to get busy after school and work hours. Weekends are also pretty busy. They let me bring my own colors to use of I am set on a certain color. Although, they have hundreds to choose from. I never feel pressured to purchase a service that I don't want. They always pay attention to detail and my nails look great. If anything is not to your liking, just let them know and it will be fixed. If you have an air bubble or smudge... No problem. I kicked something before I left once, which was completely my fault, and they fixed it. They are just super nice people. Recently, the owners opened another concept around the corner in the same plaza, offering skin care, massage and waxing. As a result, Trendy Nails stopped providing their facial waxing services. I was bummed about that. Now I have to go to two different places. At least they are close by. read more

We wanted to try something close to home so my daughter went there for gel nails the Tech cut her cuticles to the point she was bleeding, filed her nails so hard my daughter said something and the tech barely apologized. My regular salon was closed for vacation so I consulted Yelp for other nail places near me. I don't need anything fancy, but cleanliness is an absolute prerequisite. Trendy nails is one that I had not seen in my previous searches, was commended for its cleanliness, and was closer to me than my standby. Lisa took care of me and did an excellent job on my standard mani-pedi. She was pleasant and polite and was respectful of my unstated preference to relax and enjoy the pampering rather than to chat. (One or two of the other reviews mentioned this tendency; another reason for my choice.) The salon is attractive and soothing with relaxing music, although not elevator-like. Best of all, everything was immaculate, with sterilized metal tools and what appeared to be one-use filing implements. I've only been to Trendy one time. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by a very friendly woman and was sat down immediately, no wait whatsoever. All the employees said hello as they walked by the table and were all very nice. I only went to this salon because usual salon was out of the way for me that day and my nails looked horrible. The only complaint I would mention is that the paint on my nails was kinda sloppy, but nothing bad enough that I'd ask them to be repainted. read more
