Been a while. Forgot how amazing the Rueben's are. Too big for me I ate half but the flavor is so good! Stuffed cabbage always amazing!!! Friendly service always a hello.

Corned Beef Sandwich on Marble Rye with lettuce, tomato, provolone cheese.

This place is a hidden gem which has been around for decades. They offer a variety of different foods which are delicious. I recently enjoyed one of their amazing Corned Beef Sandwiches, but in the past I've also enjoyed their delicious fish Sandwiches. The atmosphere and staff are very friendly and welcoming and the service is prompt. The dining room is somewhat small yet not too crowded. In addition to the dining room there is also a bar where you can either enjoy a drink or enjoy both a meal and a drink. This place fills up quickly, so try to get there early.

If you're not getting dinner from here at least once a week you're missing out! All homemade food, the nicest and most attentive service. This chicken Parmesan I got for my takeout order was SO good! I got to pick from spaghetti or rigatoni noodles. I ordered this on a Thursday, FYI Thursday is their Italian menu. Also not pictured is their delicious fish sandwich! Highly recommend this place. It is just straight up good food!

I give it 5 stars yet again. Old school Pittsburgh. Grabbed an Iron to be like the olden days. Owner was here and spent a few minutes talking to me and making suggestions. She is so darn friendly. Definitely a neighborhood place, but as a stranger I was made to feel as though I've lived here my entire life. Ordered tonight the stuffed cabbage just like Zimmern did. Wonderful with homemade mashed potatoes. Like my grandmother would make. The people are what make this place special.

Jr fish sandwich with all the fixing's... slaw, Mac & Cheese, Haulski... gotta love it!

Just good Pittsburgh food in hearty portions. Service is always pleasant and the wait for food is minimal. Try their fish sandwich-huge!

The food here is fantastic! I had Chicken Parmesan with a salad and rigatoni. So much food, I had to take half of it home.

Food is always spot on, the only thing better than that is the outstanding service. I just wish that I lived closer.

The dirty martini was fairly pungent and strong so not sure I would get it again but I'm also not big on dirty martinis so probably just the wrong choice on my part. But the food was the star of the show. We ate so many good dishes- starting with the rainbow platter. Loved the baba ghanoush and the roasted cauliflower - those were my favorite of the 7 dishes on the platter. We also ordered the labneh, hummus with chicken and lamb shawarma, and the kafta kebabs (rolled up in some sort of tortilla) which were all fantastic! If we come back (which we will) I would just order the baba ghanoush instead of the rainbow platter, all the other dishes we ordered, and maybe one additional plate. I felt like I didn't really need the Israeli salad (tomato and cucumber) or the pickled cauliflower and radish that came on the rainbow platter. The hummus was SO soft and fluffy. This was some of the best food we've had in Pittsburgh. After having lived in a Philly for 4 years, we know good mediterranean/lebanese food and I'd be surprised if you can find better in Pittsburgh. Service was also very good.

The space itself is the only downside - it's small and the seating is not very comfortable or conducive to relaxation. The vibe inside is nice, however, and they were playing a combination of Middle Eastern and American pop music videos while we were there. The staff was very friendly and attentive- I didn't catch the girl's name but she was very knowledgeable about hookah and had some good tips for us. The flavor was great- we had to try the house-made "Pussy Juice" flavor, which was a combination of different fruits and had a really nice citrus-y bite. My boyfriend wanted to buy some to smoke in his hookah at home but they don't sell it except for on-site use.
