Expanding my list of Thai restaurants, Emerald Thai Restaurant is high on my list! We decided to dine-in on a week night. The dining area is intimate with tables & bar seating. Our waitress was kind, attentive & helpful. The food was made to order and arrived fast. I enjoyed the seafood Tom Yum Soup. It was refreshing with generous servings of shrimp, calamari & krab. Each entree is served with white rice. I thoroughly enjoyed the crispy chili duck. The skin was indeed crispy while the meat was tender. The portion alone was worth the order. I took half home. The Chicken Katsu was large as well; it is served with ketchup & bbq sauce. The chicken doesn't have a distinct seasoning. Jonathan ordered the very flavorful Massaman Curry with Salmon. Overall we definitely enjoyed our meal & would return!
Drove in for a visit to Miami and was getting hungry so looked up on the GPS for a Thai restaurant and it provided this so I drove directly to it. It's located in a strip mall and I was pleasantly surprised. The service was really good. Ordered Pad Gra Prow Medium spice and Panang Curry Dinner Combo and both were delicious and we received our orders really quickly as well after ordering them. For dessert we ordered mango sticky rice and it was so freaking delicious! I would suggest if anyone is in the area that please give this place a try it's well worth it.
Love love love! Delicious Thai food, wonderful ambiance and superb service!! We had the spring's rolls which were made to perfection, nice golden crispy outside and delicious ingredients inside! We also had the shrimp red curry which was so tasty, was the best red curry I've had in a very long time. Also enjoyed the Tom Yum soup also excellent! We loved the warm and cozy ambiance and the mom & pop feeling unlike our previous go to Thai restaurant that had a cold and uninviting corporate America feel. Emerald Thai is our go-to Thai Food restaurant from now on!!!!

Been on the hunt for good pad thai since i moved to the area 8 years ago and i finally found it! i ordered it medium spice it's extra veggies. the spice is just enough and the veggies were cooked to the right temp to still have a bit of a crunch. the noodles are also not overcooked and traveled surprisingly well. 10/10
This restaurant is truly a hidden jewel of Thai cuisine in Davie. It is so wonderful ! The food is super delicious, the ambiance is cozy and inviting and warm, family-friendly, laid back, mega clean. I want to especially express my appreciation for the fact that they always have fresh flowers at every table and in arrangements all over the restaurant. I have seen lilies, roses, orchids, and many other flowers grace their tables. This is a very nice and classy touch that does not go unnoticed! My husband and I have been here several times for dinner. We have tried the massaman and panang curries, the pineapple fried rice, the pad thai, the chicken larb salad (one of my favorite Thai dishes), the Tom kha gai soup. Every single item we've tried has been spectacular, tasty and beautifully presented. Their portion sizes are very generous for dinnertime. They have a set of spicy sauces which I really enjoy as well, some fresh made in house. The very best part of all in this restaurant, has been the service. Hong had been our server a few times and he is amazing!! Thank you very much Hong and keep up the great work making our dinner experiences so great! Give Hong a raise!
This was some of the best Thai food I've ever had in Broward. I had not noticed this place before, in a little pocket of a plaza off State Road 84 and the highway, but a friend took me here, and it was amazing. We placed our order over the phone, and when we arrived, it was ready for us, we had the pad gra prow and green curry. Both of them had the full depth of flavor that I was looking for in a good Thai dish, and were cooked to perfection. The green curry was a bit sweet, creamy with the coconut milk texture, and had all of the right ingredients, peppers, bamboo shoots, chicken, and more. It went very well with the rice, in fact, I wish they would maybe give a bit more rice with it. The pad gra prow was so good, it tasted exactly like street food in Thailand. Perhaps it was because we picked it up to go and it continued to stay heating up in the boxes before we got to the house but the egg was a little overcooked, nevertheless it was still delicious. When we were picking up our order, we saw a picture of the mango sticky rice by the register and decided to add it to our order. It was ready in less than five minutes, and was some of the best I've ever had. In or out of Thailand. Cannot wait to make this a regular staple in my rotation. Thank you!
Came here because it was close to our hotel and were wowed! The food was delicious. I got a tofu red curry which was comfortably spicy. My coworker got pad Thai and really liked it. Everything was fresh. The mango sticky rice wasn't as creamy/milky as what I'm used to from my local Thai but it was still very yummy! Our server was awesome. He was very attentive without being annoying. There weren't many people here and I hope that was just a fluke because this place deserves customers.
Instead of ordering for delivery, I decided to go inside the restaurant for the first time and order takeout. It was hot outside, so I ordered an iced tea to drink while I waited for my food. When the lady brought out my meal. She offered to refill my iced tea so that I could have something cold to drink on the way home. I thought that was so thoughtful! I ordered the chicken satay it was juicy and the peanut sauce is amazing for dipping. As always, the basil chicken was delightful. It's a cute intimate restaurant. There were a couple of families dining in. It was a nice touch that they had fresh roses on every table. If you want authentic consistently delicious food with great hospitality, Emerald Thai is where it's at. read more
Met my daughter here for lunch today as she said it was a very good Thai restaurant. I have to agree after eating there. Small place in a plaza. The decor and ambience are simple, but the food was top-notch. The server very friendly, a little hard to understand, but you don't mind because the food is so authentic. For lunch, we started with a miso soup and their wonton soup. Both had amazing flavors and were nice sized bowls of soup. For lunch, my daughter had the chicken Katsu and I had their pad kee mow. My daughter's Katsu was probably one of the best I've had. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the crust was flaky and excellent. My dish was quite superior to other locations that I've eaten it and I enjoyed it tremendously. The flavors were very good. For dessert, we ordered the Thai donuts, and this too outstanding. The donuts were super airy and flavorful. This is a definite go back spot. My only negative is that parking is difficult as there is limited spaces in the plaza. read more

Came during lunch specials and the prices were fairly cheap! I would come back to try their other options as well. I liked the krab Rangoons and the appetizers that they had. The krab rangoon had a lot of filling which was good. For my entree, I ordered the chicken pad Thai.. and it was lacking some flavor. I'm not sure if it was the sauce.. but it wasn't for me. however, the worker was very friendly and checked up on us. The place was also very clean. read more
We tried this place tonight by recommendation of a friend and it was amazing! We got the pad kee mao (drunken noodles) and pad see ew. The portions were HUGE. We ate a good amount and basically had leftovers for a second meal! We also did a spice level 2 and for a couple of Koreans it definitely made us sweat a little so we can only imagine how hot the spicy hot Thai level is. I think if you can handle some spice a 2 is your best bet and then you can more spice with their assorted 4 spice tray. It is in more of a hidden area but it was definitely worth the drive! They also seem to have a lunch special that runs daily and you get 10% off your order if you order online! read more

This is hands down the best Thai food I've ever had. I ordered through Doordash, and I was impressed that the food arrived hot despite the delivery. The quality is outstanding! Curry is extremely flavorful, striking that perfect balance between spice and creaminess. The portions are generous and definitely filling. Their massaman curry is absolutely top notch, the best I've ever tried. I'm already looking forward to ordering again soon! I hope to visit the restaurant in person sometime to explore more of their menu. If you're craving authentic, delicious Thai cuisine, this place is a must try. They've definitely won me over as a regular customer! read more

Emerald Thai is the best Thai place in Davie. The owners are so sweet and really get to know their customers. The restaurant is cute and small and can definitely fill up quick. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Definitely try their Thai tea as well! read more

First of if you're thinking about visiting this place you NEED to! Very cute and homie restaurant with great food. I visited for the first time on a Sunday, the restaurant was empty, and all I could think of was "why isn't such a good place full?" We ordered two meals from the lunch specials and they were super good. I actually got my chose from the photos here on yelp. My sister got the Red curry which has the right amount of spice without being too overwhelming. come check out this family owned place! read more

I ordered tonite from uber eats first time - LAST TIME! the food is EXTREMELY MEDIOCRE zero flavor zero Thai cooking zero Thai spices I can hardly believe this place has 4 stars on yelp wow - this is the first time I've ordered from this restaurant - and will definitely be the LAST TIME - food has ZERO FLAVOR - EXTREMELY MEDIOCRE - NO TASTE - NOT THAI - I usually order from ZABB Thai/sushi - but they weren't accepting orders through u we rats tonite - so I chose here - BIG MISTAKE - BIG I can make better Thai food and I'm not Asian this is really really REALLY BAD - the soup - Tom Kha - extremely bland - coconut milk (mostly water) - a couple mushrooms and a couple pieces of chicken - I asked for medium - yet it came "nothing" again - I can make better I got pad Thai with beef chicken shrimp - NO ground peanuts - literally 1 sprig of cilantro! - NO FLAVOR - EXTREMELY BLAND - ZERO FLAVOR - NOT THAI !!! this food literally tastes like the McDonald's fast food of Thai restaurants - and I don't mean that as a complement YUK YUK YUK - I can't believe I just wasted $35 on this horrible food!!! read more

I came here with my mom and while we enjoyed the Pad See Ew, the sushi, soup and dumplings weren't anything to write home about. I think that's why on a Friday night there were only 2 tables taken... ours and a large French-speaking party. I would say if you did come here I would recommend the non-sushi part of the menu. The Pad See Ew was great and from my amazing instinct on Asian cuisine I'd say you'd enjoy some Pad Thai here as well. Regardless of my half-good/half-meh experience I will come back as I want to write about some home-runs for next time. I'll be trying other dishes and I hope to give a 4 star rating next time if some more enjoyable menu items come to the table. read more

Doesn't look like much of a restaurant from the outside or driving by but if you have any extra time to stop in and give it a chance it's well worth it. The food comes fast, fresh, and definitely meets expectations of authentic Thai food. Quaint and modest atmosphere upon walking inside the restaurant , it's a great place for lunch/ dinner dates, or even a quick lunch with a friend, family or colleague. No high noise levels and You can peacefully eat your meal while having a conversation and being able to hear one another without loud music or kitchen distractions. The owners here are very sweet and accommodating and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Thai food that is made in a fast manner and made with the upmost quality of authenticity of Thai. One thing I must warn you ahead of time is if you do decide to try this restaurant out there's a 99.9% chance you will be a repeat customer every week... the food is just that damn good. read more
