When we arrived, because we were new the staff helped show us around, and explained the process. The area itself is super cute and cozy, with seating by the windows as well as large tables for bigger parties. We were able to pick up our pieces about 5 days later? And the staff were super nice and helpful then as well! I'm in love with how the finished pieces turned out after firing. Overall, it was such a pleasant experience, they had some music playing and everything was neat and organized. The instructor was extremely patient, helpful, and accommodating, there were some in my group who were pregnant and/or left handed and was able to offer direction on various needs. The groups were kept small. At the end, you get to choose two out of the three pieces you made. For those who aren't as artistic like myself, I was offered a piece by the instructor (since I only made one) which was very nice and helpful. You also get to choose your finishing color. It's a great experience. Everyone was super friendly and encouraging despite your level of artistic abilities. Overall, I really enjoyed this experience and would definitely come back.

Took two classes here and had very different experiences…read more The first class I went to was a resin workshop with Punky Power Productions and it was fun, engaging, and interactive. The instructor was very fun and really willing to help out and inspire. 5 stars. The second workshop i took, just this Sunday, was not great at all. It was a mosaic class and it might as well have been self led. The instructor gave us a brief 3-5 min tutorial on how to place the tiles and then did nothing else except sorted tiles the whole time. She never came around to see how we were doing or if we needed help. We had to keep asking her to come over if we had a question and she didn't really offer too much. She never told us what color we could use, and kept coming over and collecting the extra tiles as we were working. She didn't help us finish up and left before we were done. It was super disappointing.

It costs $10 per painter, and then each item is priced differently. There is a $5 discount for students on Fridays! There are lots of different paints and other supplies as well. We painted a cereal bowl and had lots of fun! Just keep in mind that items have to be turned in 30 minutes before closing (8:30). After a week, we got a text that our item was ready to be picked up and that they can hold it for 30 more days. Pick up process was straightforward, just needed to give the receipt but even if you don't have it, they can use your phone number. Would recommend!

The setup was pretty great to accommodate our group size very easily. We got instructions about the steps to make our bowl and a demo, but I along with others definitely found it hard to keep up. We needed a lot of individual help. I wish there was an assistant who could walk around and help us too. The studio glazed and painted the bowls to a color we liked. They looked great! I only wish we were able to be more hands on in the process and perhaps make two items as the process is quite hard if you're new and it would have been fun to take another stab at it.
