My knitting class was very well run, organized, and informative. The student:instructor ratio is very low so we each got lots of personalized attention to work through our unique problems. I'm so happy with the results and it was also such a fun and enjoyable experience!

I…read moream often quite satisfied with just a printed logo until seeing a well embroidered logo on someone else's apron for example. That material lustful covetousness that follows after...sighs. So I finally took some time to look up local businesses that do custom embroidery and found Graphic Connections. I spoke with the owner Paul in person one evening shortly after they were closed for the day. He was very friendly and insightful to their process for handling custom jobs for their customers including other local businesses. They run two shifts: sales and design by day, printing and embroidery by night. We spoke through some details and fees involved and went from there. Zapporah took care of all the different quotes and questions promptly. Dave handled the design and proofs prior to production. The night crew handled production and a phonecall was received when it was ready for pickup. Turnaround time after the proofs was really quick! Moment of truth was when I finally picked up the end product - a few aprons embroidered with logos as a gift to another local small business. They were beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. I can't be any happier and look forward to working with them again in the future! Definitely recommend!!!

They were the only embroidery shop in Boston willing to accommodate my request on such a short notice (right before closing at that!) and were very kind and helpful while doing so. Most of the staff are helpful and kind. That's why my visit this weekend (Sunday, 11/2) was such a surprise. An older female-presenting employee with long dark curly hair yelled at me and my young son when we tried to ask where the dry-erase markers were, while she chased after other customers who had already said they didn't need help. I said, "That was odd... but," and tried to ask my question, but she immediately cut me off and began raising her voice defensively. The escalation and her incendiary reaction was shocking in a customer service setting. I had to walk away, and another employee quickly helped us find what we needed. When I went to check out, she ended up on the register. I forfeited my loyalty points and asked my partner to handle the transaction because she'd made me uncomfortable. I told him what had transpired on the way home and he said she was curt and dismissive with him, too. This has always been a reliable neighborhood art store, but that kind of behavior makes it harder to come back. Nobody wants to deal with the loose cannon in the office aisle!
