    Filet and fried Brussels sprouts
    Todd P.

We had a mixed experience last night. Our server Ben was excellent. We started with the bread service which was great. We ordered the bison short ribs and a filet plus a side of fried Brussels sprouts. While the short ribs were absolutely wonderful, the steak was medium and the Brussels sprouts were chewy. We discussed those issues with Ben and came to a mutually acceptable conclusion. We've had many satisfactory experiences here and this episode won't keep us from returning.

Austin, thank you! Everything was amazing from the recommendations on the appetizer and side dish to the beverages and desert. The A5 Wagyu melted in my mouth, that Lemon Tres Leche with the macaroon on top and everything in between was so tasty. Will definitely be back!

What a fantastic dinner! We started with the freshest of bread including an awesome rosemary focaccia bread. The sourdough bread was equally delicious. We shared the Sumaya salad. It was refreshing and with fruit surprises. My wife had the Buffalo Short Rib. I told our server AJ that I'm looking at that and the Filet. He said the filet will be your best choice and he was correct. The best I've had in a year. Thanks AJ, So much energy from the team at Ember!! Thank you

Great night out with family and friends, fun place!

Our first time dining here, great experience. Our server was called "Frenchie" and had a fantastic personality! Very attentive to our needs, as well. Party of 4, they started w/meatball app, sauce and cheese vere very good (was told the meatball was, too). 3 in our party had steaks, lobster risotto and mashed potato sides; I had the Seasonal salad w/out pancetta and it was really tasty. The soft goat cheese was great! Side of broccolini with garlic was yum! The bread they serve along w/the butter and chives was awesome, too. We shared a tres leches dessert that had wonderful banana sorbet on the side, perfect after-dinner treat. If I was a meat eater, I'd go back again for my hubby who only gets to enjoy steak 1-2x/year, but the vegetarian choices weren't great. However, I made do just fine, and it was a fun experience!

I was excited to try Ember, but the experience far surpassed my expectations. My wife and I celebrated my birthday here, and the entire evening was fantastic. The drinks were fabulous (Sacred Smoke was a standout), along with the food, and I want to specifically thank our server Alyssa R., who provided outstanding service. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this restaurant for anyone looking for an elevated dining experience!

    Is there a dress code?

People were dressed up, but also some were very casual coming in from the Casino. I think they expect all types of dress.

Flavorless fried filets, soggy French fries, chewy hush puppies that have a gross powdery center, and a small Cole slaw that's always warm. It seems that the big draw for this restaurant is the spectacular views, not so much the service, or food. Please note that the menu that's on their Yelp listing, is outdated. I tried to place an order by phone. The guy that answered told me I had the wrong restaurant, none of the items I tried to order were on their menu. You'd have to Google their current menu, if you want to see what they have. The guy that answered the phone was abrupt, & condescending also. I would only return here, if they got different management. The current one sucks.

Candace was our server and she was great, funny too. We ordered the Caesar salad with chicken and the DC Club with fries. I'm a club sandwich fanatic and this was the best club in many many years if not ever. Tons of meat and goodness. And the fries were battered and delicious as well. Too much to eat and hard to leave behind. The Caesar was great too. A good amount of chicken and nicely garlicky. We highly recommend this.

The speakeasy itself is small, cute, and cozy, with a very dark, intimate interior that instantly sets the mood. We commented that it would be an excellent spot for a date night. The bartender was especially impressive. She was very knowledgeable and attentive. He took the time to create a custom drink for my friend, and she absolutely loved it. I ordered an espresso martini made with rum, which was interesting and different from the usual vodka version. We didn't order food this time since we stopped in before our dinner reservation elsewhere, but other tables had food that looked great. I'd love to come back specifically to try their food along with more cocktails. Overall, a great little speakeasy with solid drinks, great service, and a cozy vibe. I'd definitely return.

I love the giant disco balls and the aesthetic of this place. We started with the appletini and lemongrass highball (non-alcoholic). My friend and I ended up switching drinks because we liked each other's more than our own. For the second round, we ordered the brandy spritz and primrose martini. We weren't fans of the brandy spritz, although my friend grew into it. The primrose martini was quite good, I liked it better than the appletini. For snackies, we ordered the glizzy gaunlet, which was basically a tower of carbs. It came with 5 mini dogs with milk bread, and potato wedges. There were 3 sauces, my favorite in order were the: truffle dijonnaise, kosho aioli, and korean ketchup. We enjoyed this more than the food at Filthy Animal. Although it was pricey ($22) for just carbs and hardly any protein. The milk bread was delicious and the mini dogs were pretty good too. The potato wedges were cooked perfectly, slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Would I return? Probably not. The food was better than the drinks but it wasn't outstanding.
