I called Premier Plumbing to help find an apparent leak in my late cousin's unoccupied house. We were notified by the water department that the bill was over $1000! This had occurred in a two week span of time! When I arrived to inspect the house, certain upon entering, that there would be a flood of water pouring out the front door, I found nothing! No wet carpet, no water running, no sounds of water running, no water in the crawl space, etc. the dial on the water meter was not moving when I inspected it. It was a mystery. When Jesse arrived later that week, the first thing he did was go to the water meter. He was unable to remove the lock the water department put on per our direction to shut the water off, so we couldn't turn the water back on at that point. He went through the house doing all kinds of pressure tests. nothing was found there. He suited up and crawled around in the very shallow crawl space. Again nothing found. He spent over an hour with me, giving me information and more tests I could perform on my own after the lock was removed and the water was back on. He told me that with that volume of water running in that two week span of time, there should be some evidence somewhere; there was none. He was equally as mystified. He did all he could do with what we had to work with. He was incredibly helpful, courteous, showed up when he said he would, was truly interested in what we found, which in the end was nothing. And the BEST PART; he charged absolutely NOTHING for his time!!! Jesse, it's still a mystery. The only thing that I think it could have been was a toilet left running fully that fixed itself magically prior to my entering the house, or someone filling a few tank trucks in the middle of the night undetected by the neighbors who were watching the house! I had an emergency last weekend when my water heater tank had sprung a leak which soaked the carpet in the adjacent room. Having no clue what it was related to, but going off of a hunch that it was the water heater. I searched yelp for plumbing, found Premier and was the first place that I called after reading the reviews. I was a little hesitant at first because all of the reviews were 5 stars. But I went with my gut instinct and called them anyways. Jesse answered right away (this was around 11am on a Saturday) I explained the situation and asked if he had time and wouldn't mind going to take a look and confirm the water heater was the cause. He was at the house 30 minutes later, confirmed the situation and explained my options and associated costs. He even offered to go with me to the Lowe's down the street to pick up a new heater (I'm very thankful for that since I wouldn't have had a way to drive it home myself and would've probably needed to pay Lowe's for shipping.) A few hours later he was finished with the installation. Install was very clean, Jesse even took the time to carefully remove the doors from the water heater closet and put them back on afterwards. I'm a home owner who served as my own general contractor on a whole-house remodel. I hired Jesse at Premier Plumbing to replace all of the plumbing in my entire house. Wow, what a great experience we had with Jesse and Premier Plumbing and Mechanical. After we received an almost $700 water bill, it was clear we had a leak somewhere. The leak ended up being in the water line that goes from our house to the water meter, some 300ft away from the house, on the street. Simply amazing! I got a letter from the city of Kirkland alerting us to an unusual level of water consumption over the past 3 months. In a panic I called 6 plumbers, 4 called back, 2 did a same day visit, and 1 felt ambitious. He instinctively found the leak 2 feet under the gravel driveway, and fixed it on the spot. Very impressed with Jesse and his work. Had a water heater failure on New Years Day. Sucks!! Had a home warranty on this house that we have owned a little over a year. He is the only contractor that took the time to talk with me, recommend I text him pictures of my situation, so he could communicate his diagnosis with my Insurance company. They promptly gave an authorization, based on Jesse's suggestion. His pricing was within their scope also. All this phone stuff happened on the following Saturday, and I didn't expect a repair that day. I received a call back to schedule an appointment within an hour of emailing them. Day of Jesse called to let me know he was on his way and arrived on time.
