While he was there, he also found and repaired a leak to the dishwasher at a very fair price and even fixed a leaking tub issue at no charge, which really speaks to his integrity. More recently, when my water softener started having issues, Jesse stopped by just to turn it off so it would stop recycling -- again with no service charge. He later installed a brand-new water softener, with excellent workmanship, very reasonable pricing, and his usual friendly, easygoing personality. He was rude and dismissive, told me to buy filters online, and even suggested I could "find another provider" to cover the remainder of the warranty. I was never offered a service plan or shown any maintenance basics. I chose Western because of their long-standing reputation in the valley, but the lack of communication, professionalism, and post-installation support was disappointing.

We had the go around with a different vendor to fix our AC before calling A-1. Racked up $1,200 to…read moreadd Freon, replace a control board, and then replace a motor which wouldn't come in 5-7 business days. They put in a rescue motor which didn't blow any cold air whatsoever. Alan from A-1 came was was SO great! He asked for all that had happened, and then slowed down and explained how an AC works, what possible things could go wrong, and invited us to watch as he worked so we could learn. To try and keep this short, Alan discovered we did not need Freon, the original command board was completely fine and reinstalled our original command board so the previous vendor could come get their new board. Alan also found out that the complete motor wasn't broken but rather than just a component. Lastly, the rescue motor had the wires crossed so it was pulling air in rather than pushing. He had cold air blowing within 20 min of work while the other vendor took 9 hours and no air ever came out. By the next day our AC was completely fixed for half the price. Due to Alan's notes, and giving back the new control board, we were able to receive a full refund from the prior company. The owner also reached out afterwards to see how everything went and make sure there was nothing else needed. They really went the extra mile at every opportunity! 10/10 would recommend to anyone! Honest and trustworthy company!!

So, we replaced our AC and Heater at the same time. Their initial offering was at the budget model from Goodman but I didn't want a system that would only last 10 years. I wanted something that woud pair with my replaced Trane system and last over 25+ years. They recommended Amana as their high end and it has a lifetime warranty. However, I was not told I needed to register these units within 60 days to keep that extended warranty. So luckily, I read the fine print and completed that. Its almost been two months and the systems are working well! I highly recommend this team for any installations and repairs.

So for a few days the only way I'd get it to flush was to keep turning it off and on from behind the damn thing. I kept telling him, I just know this is gonna totally screw it up. It did. So wow! Turns out I knew one thing about toilets other than knowing how to use them haha! So he would fill the tank part up and if it was full, I'd be able to flush it. I was like...to hell with that. I'm not gonna get a bucket of water every time. Thankfully we have 2 bathrooms lol. We called the insurance company and they sent out Adam. Adam walks into just the doorway of my bathroom and knew right away what was wrong with it. He didn't even have to touch the thing (until he replaced the issue) and he knew. Pretty insane haha, but a good insane. He definitely knows his craft. He fixed the issue and it was done within a matter of minutes and I thankfully had a functioning toilet again. It's weird after years of having your own bathroom to all the sudden have to share the other bathroom with someone else or rather, he share with me lol. As far as plumbers go, Adam is the best we have ever dealt with and the guy is soooo unbelievably nice. Again, knows his job and knows it amazingly. Thank God the insurance company sent him vs anyone else. We all know a lot of these guys who come out to our houses for any kind of issue..roof, plumbing, anything, we all kinda hope and pray they'll be super nice guys and that's not always the case. We definitely lucked out this time. Not sure what Adam charges separately but from what I read in other reviews, they didn't seem to have issues with costs. If you're on a fixed income though, any plumber can cost a lot of $$... depending on the issue of course. Glad we have the insurance though haha. Thanks Adam for a great job. Will definitely remember him the next time we have any issue. If we use the insurance, we can hope he would come out, if not, Adam is definitely someone we'd call for help with an issue.
