He is so polite, very professional, communicative and take so much pride in his work. He was apprehensive at first to do an outdoor shower for liability purposes, but still came to spec the job, which I really appreciated. He ended up taking the job and was exciting about the challenge and the design and went as far as doing research on how he could make the water valves safe from freezing in the winter. He just went above and beyond every step of the way. I really appreciated the complementary home inspection of all the plumbing inside and outside the house PRIOR to starting any work. That was so smart and so nice and it actually turned out to be a life saver for me when he found a pin hole leak in a pipe underneath my house that had been leaking for weeks! I am not sure anyone else would have found that. Needless to say, he ended up fixing that, saving me a disaster down the road and getting the shower done in two visits. So for a few days the only way I'd get it to flush was to keep turning it off and on from behind the damn thing. I kept telling him, I just know this is gonna totally screw it up. It did. So wow! Turns out I knew one thing about toilets other than knowing how to use them haha! So he would fill the tank part up and if it was full, I'd be able to flush it. I was like...to hell with that. I'm not gonna get a bucket of water every time. Thankfully we have 2 bathrooms lol. We called the insurance company and they sent out Adam. Adam walks into just the doorway of my bathroom and knew right away what was wrong with it. He didn't even have to touch the thing (until he replaced the issue) and he knew. Pretty insane haha, but a good insane. He definitely knows his craft. He fixed the issue and it was done within a matter of minutes and I thankfully had a functioning toilet again. It's weird after years of having your own bathroom to all the sudden have to share the other bathroom with someone else or rather, he share with me lol. As far as plumbers go, Adam is the best we have ever dealt with and the guy is soooo unbelievably nice. Again, knows his job and knows it amazingly. Thank God the insurance company sent him vs anyone else. We all know a lot of these guys who come out to our houses for any kind of issue..roof, plumbing, anything, we all kinda hope and pray they'll be super nice guys and that's not always the case. We definitely lucked out this time. Not sure what Adam charges separately but from what I read in other reviews, they didn't seem to have issues with costs. If you're on a fixed income though, any plumber can cost a lot of $$... depending on the issue of course. Glad we have the insurance though haha. Thanks Adam for a great job. We wanted to get a tankless water heater, our old one was about 17 years old and obviously not…read morerunning as efficiently as could be. I got 3 quotes from Plumbing Plus, Bill Howe and Andy "The tankless plumber". The first two each told me something different, Bill Howe wanted to gouge me for almost $1,000 for a electrician they said I would need to install a new outlet for the unit (there is one 5 feet away that I plug my washer and dryer into). Plumbing Plus told me I would need a water softener system to make it run correctly, while Bill Howe said no it's not needed a better set up would be a whole house filter. It went on and on, Andy was my 3rd and final quote and boy I'm glad I called him! He told me I didin't need any of those things if I didn't want them, the heater itself comes with a filter that takes out all of the junk in our fine water here in San Diego. He broke it down, there are two different filter choices, he didn't do a hard sell or anything like that on any of it. You can tell he has been a plumber forever, knows his competition and his customer service and bids reflect that. He installed our water heater on Friday, it looks great, he cleaned up his mess along the way and when he was done. I would call him again in a heartbeat for our plumbing needs.

When a Costco refrigerator delivery exposed a water leak in the refrigerator line, it became an emergency situation because the refrigerator couldn't be installed until the leak was fixed. Jesse came right out, handled the repair quickly and professionally, and did not charge an emergency fee. While he was there, he also found and repaired a leak to the dishwasher at a very fair price and even fixed a leaking tub issue at no charge, which really speaks to his integrity. More recently, when my water softener started having issues, Jesse stopped by just to turn it off so it would stop recycling -- again with no service charge. He later installed a brand-new water softener, with excellent workmanship, very reasonable pricing, and his usual friendly, easygoing personality. I called a friend and they recommended Hyde Park Plumbing. I can't say enough about how kind, honest, helpful, and flexible the service they provided was. Jeff came out on a Saturday, even though he said he was really only going to do emergencies. I explained what was going on and he came out to take a look. He quickly diagnosed the problem and provided a temporary weekend fix.
