Veterans Plumbing came to the house on June 25,2026 to deal with a low…read morewater pressure issue on a hose bib at the rear of the house and to install a Woodford valve on the other side of the of the home to run household water to the irrigation system should we run out of canal water in this drought. The work was completed that day and Veterans plumbing was paid in full $ 1575.00. After Ian left I went to wash the patio and did not have enough pressure to wash the patio. When we hooked up the Woodford valve to the irrigation system there was no pressure to run the irrigation system. Ian came back out on July 1st 2026 and tried to resolve the issues even calling in to his boss to try to remedy the problem. nothing got resolved. I decided to get another onion by another plumbing company. I discovered in the first half hour with the other plumbing that the hose bib valve that was put in for about 485.00 was defective, once replaced full water pressure was established. As we continued to look at Veterans Plumbing work we discovered that when the Woodford valve was installed for the irrigation they had taped into a 3/4 inch line feeding the bathroom with softened water. Not only would this of killed all the planting and lawn in the Newley installed landscaping but it was not sized correctly to get the pressures needed. I called into the office and told them what I was dealing with and a very unprofessional were sorry was all I got. The Ian that work in the office said well I am not a plumber I just schedule, did not offer a refund or to speak with anyone else in the company. This is a very poorly run outfit that has no Idea what they are doing and are charging prices for a well experienced plumber. ALL IN I PAID $1575.00 FOR A JOB THAT I AM NOW REDOING. STAY AS FAR AWAW AS YOU CAN FORM VRTRANS PLUMBING UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF.

There is moisture down the wall under the vent, and some dirt that was forced down there by the water pressure on the flower bed. We weren't sure how bad the damage was, and tried to help dry the crawl space by putting a small fan down there. But, I thought we'd better call someone who knows how to evaluate the damage and make suggestions and/or repair the damage. So we called Beacon. Rich answered the phone and arranged for us to get a visit from him that very afternoon. I was out of the house, but my son (38) was there when Rich came out. My son was very impressed with Rich's willingness to go down into the crawlspace and evaluate the issues. He said Rich was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. Not only that, he was ethical enough to tell my son that because the irrigation issue was fixed, and there was really no damage that needed fixing, all was being taken care of well enough. I had imagined that he would be saying that he needed to put holes in the wall and bring giant fans to allow everything to dry, costing an arm and a leg, but instead, he came and gave us a no-cost evaluation and recommended we keep doing what we were doing (just a household fan and a little clean-up). I'm not an inspector or permitting, so I'm communicating results from the plumbing work. My general lens as an owner, does the water run and are there leaks. Called Prime in Feb '25, we had a leak at a bathroom faucet and faulty plunger, booked an appointment and had a plan to inspect. Calls, text and emails, the issue was resolved July 16th. Painful experience to get Prime to get the parts to repair this and it required 4-5 months. When plumber was in house, he was upbeat and positive, I always appreciated that, given the repair timeline. It took a long time, and appreciative this was resolved. 12 months and 2 weeks into the plumbing ownership and a check valve on the inline in my garage leaked and has caused Subfloor, LVP, and wall damage. Tally for repair is adding up quickly and laundry room is unusable at the moment due to the water leak. In summary, the office is solid answering phone, confirming appointments (4 stars) The techs when are in home are focused (4 stars) The results, water leaks and both extensive and costly repairs that have caused inconvenience for our family (1 star) As an Elite Yelper I encourage you to proceed hiring Prime with thoughtful caution (Overall 2 star).

Travis was an exceptional expert, keeping me informed the entire way. Given a challenging situation, Keidon joined Travis and together they conquered the problem. As they went along my 20 year old pipes had more issues than originally thought. Travis and American Rooter & Drain kept to the rate quoted, even though it took more time and effort to complete the repairs. If I could give the company and staff more than five stars I would. For weeks after their work, I was noticing little dents and scrapes, and other aesthetic issues on my porch, up my stairs, in my hallway and around my bathroom. There was one very deep gash in the wall next to the shower installation, very obvious about 7 inches long and a quarter of an inch deep. I had to call them back out to look at it. Really!! They filled it in then instructed me to paint the entire wall so that one area didn't stand out!!! A few weeks later I noticed another very large gash in the stairwell leading up to the bathroom. The caulking on the shower parts looks like something my 16-year-old granddaughter did!
