I can't recommend Jesse highly enough. He's an independent plumber and also a neighbor, and I originally found him through another neighbor's recommendation -- and he has been exceptional every step of the way. When a Costco refrigerator delivery exposed a water leak in the refrigerator line, it became an emergency situation because the refrigerator couldn't be installed until the leak was fixed. Jesse came right out, handled the repair quickly and professionally, and did not charge an emergency fee. While he was there, he also found and repaired a leak to the dishwasher at a very fair price and even fixed a leaking tub issue at no charge, which really speaks to his integrity. More recently, when my water softener started having issues, Jesse stopped by just to turn it off so it would stop recycling -- again with no service charge. He later installed a brand-new water softener, with excellent workmanship, very reasonable pricing, and his usual friendly, easygoing personality. It's rare to find someone who is skilled, honest, responsive, and genuinely kind. Jesse is all of that. I hired Premier Plumbing earlier this year to install a bathtub into the 2nd floor of a townhouse unit. I had done my own demolition and prep work, and purchased the tub. I needed a professional to revise the drain plumbing and complete the tub install, since it is high risk work (water damage sucks). The install had to be done without cutting into the wall or floor from neighboring rooms (the neighbor's home, or the neighbor's ceiling). All work must be done from within the room. This made the installation complex and risky, since quality assurance against leaks could not be done. I actually had several plumbers reject the job for this. I'm guessing to avoid liability in case the install fails (neighbors don't like bathtub waste water leaking into their home through their ceiling). My first interaction with Premier Plumbing was over email with Crystal. She asked me to describe the job, and I offered photos and rough-in specs of the bathtub. She was very responsive to my emails and texts. She confirmed the appointment time and quoted me on the hourly rate. Jesse and his partner showed up on time and ready to work. They inspected the work area, asked me my constraints ("Which walls/floors can we cut into?"), and drew up a quote for the work to be completed. I signed the consent and they started work. The team worked fast, but with precision. They wore booties in the house, and laid down drop cloths over my carpet to respect my flooring. I appreciated their pace, cleanliness, and attention to detail. Jesse also took some time in between phases to explain me what was being done and why, giving me a chance to interject or challenge the plan. When the job was done, Jesse cleaned up and vacuumed the debris generated during the work. I appreciate this final touch, since it shows true professional behavior and respect for the customer's home. I called about installing new pipes under my kitchen sink and even though Jesse had a scheduling conflict the next week, he offered to fix the issue that day so I wouldn't have to wait another week. Called Premier Plumbing at 5pm with a leaking hot water heater. I was able to send Jesse a picture of my current water heater and he was able to give me a quote over text. Jesse was able to come to my house the following day and had my tank swapped out in less than two hours (50 gal. gas water heater). Look no further - Jessie is an EXCELLENT plumber. I originally called this company with a question and Jessie answered & took an incredible about of time explaining everything and he didn't try to sell me anything or convince me to buy something I don't need. I felt like he just really wanted to help. Fast forward a few months and I actually needed help. Jessie was awesome - I never felt he tried to take advantage of me. He gave me a very fair quote which he stuck to 100%. While installing my new hot water heater, I asked him to attach shower fixtures that were taken off for tile to be installed and he discovered the original plumber made a huge mistake that was covered up very foolishly (a rag stuffed behind the fixture?!). Jessie spent about 2 hours fixing this right for me because if left how it was, I would have had water damage eventually. When he gave me the invoice, I was shocked! He charged me less for all the time he spent fixing the shower fixture than what the other guys charged for 30 minutes. It's like he wasn't doing it to make a buck, I felt like he really cared and just wanted to help. He has integrity and it's nice bc it seems like nobody does anymore. It's confusing and hard to find good people - I'm SO happy I found Jessie. I called the top rated Yelp plumber previously and they tried to charge me double for job, so it's hard to know who you truly can trust - it's sad to say but there are tons of scammers out there. I wouldn't hesitate to call Jessie again. Make sure you ask for only him bc he's a top notch skilled, honest, good guy and I don't trust anyone else (especially after one tried to up-charge me and the other did sloppy work and covered it up). read more

I called to make an appointment for my toto toilet install, specifying I have a toto toilet. The dispatcher quoted me $150. Upon the installer arriving I showed him the toilet, and he changed the price to $250 because it's skirted. Fine, I need a toilet installed. He said he has installed this style before, but I doubt it after he began. He drilled into my new tile 3 times because he located the mounting brackets wrong, backwards and then finally correctly. Trust me I was frustrated. He even asked me to look online for installation instructions! As a paying client I should not be researching how he needs to do his job! About 3.5hrs later, I did have a toilet install, but quite frankly I think I could have done it myself, and had done a better job. Oh, and too make it worse, he forgot his mirror to check for leaks after the install. Lucky for me I had a mirror to lend him. After the install I did tell him I wasn't paying the $250, since he was not only unprepared, but drilled into my new tile 3 times and one time admitted he installed the mounting brackets backwards. To close, no I do not recommend Premier Plumbing. The technician was incompetent and unprepared to install my toilet. read more

Pros: they found the leak and fixed it. They even spotted a pinhole leak that was secondary to our main concern and fixed that too. They worked fast and scheduled us quickly so the problem was diagnosed same day and the final repair done the next day. Cons: Pricing is beyond ridiculous and not stated clearly. When they arrived, they said it was $160/hour charged on the quarter hour. It took them 3 hours to fix the main leak and spot the pinhole drip and they charged $400. They said it would take 3-4 hours to fix the pinhole drip and would cost $600-$700. Okay, I thought, that's their hourly rate. It actually took them 2 hours to fix the leak and they charged $625, their "standard rate" for this type of repair. But I wasn't told this until after the work was completed. I should have objected, insisting they charge the hourly rate like they stated upfront. They should have given me an exact figure before starting the work. So a simple miscommunication? Or blatant contempt for a homeowner's budget? You decide. Either way, $300/hour is beyond ridiculous. read more
