We were told to have the electrical going to the spa checked which we did using the electrician that the shop recommends. Ken Thompson and he said the electric and the 50 amp are perfect. The issue is the spa works for about a day then shuts off. Something is triggering. I went in the Shop over a week ago as my daughter who is a full time High school teacher & her husband a fire fighter don't have time to follow up on this and get it fixed and she asked me to please get it repaired. With David Grant, I relayed that we had electric connections checked out and it's the spa needing repair still. And I asked that he pass on this critical info to the repair manager This is an open ticket since starting last June or July 2024 I believe. So I'm hoping for some priority since this repair issue is long time pending and my little grandsons want to use the spa as a warm pool. As well as my daughter and her husband who both work hard daily. This repair order should be prioritized over all the orders taken since as it's not been fixed and the other requests that came in after should be repaired after. It's an open ticket I'm waiting for a phone call to set up the repair appointment. Since this spa is old now we are wondering if perhaps it needs new mother board or of maybe the heater is triggering it to overheat and shut off. Something is triggering a shut down and diagnostics need to be ran. Please schedule the appointment as we are repeat spa buyers and the original spa repair request is from last summer. We are loyal Hot Spring customers and want many more years using these wonderful spas. Please all of us and the grandsons ages 3 and 7 will be so grateful Thank you ! I will update this once the spa is repaired and running

After a bit of a wait for production, Wes and assistant easily and carefully installed our tub and reviewed all of our cleaning and maintenance responsibilities. On top of that, Wes took time out of his busy day to inspect and clean a pellet stove we just inherited when we purchased our new home. He definitely went above and beyond.

From the moment we met Ian, we were impressed with his knowledge, his attention to detail, and the fact that he didn't try to "sell" us a pool. He listened to what we wanted, answered our questions, and assured us they could handle our project. After meeting with several references, our decision was made to go with Barefoot based on the quality of the pools, landscapes, and designs we saw and most importantly, the overwhelmingly positive comments made on behalf of Barefoot by their previous clients. Not one negative comment was shared. Then, we had the opportunity to meet his wife Tami who handled the design aspect of the project. Tami was a joy to work with and brought our vision to life. Upon completion of the project, the end result was better than we could have expected. The pool is gorgeous, the craftsmanship is outstanding, and the landscaping is exactly what we envisioned. The process from start to finish was enjoyable to watch and it was a pleasure working with and getting to know his crew all of whom were polite, professional, accommodating, and committed. I would also like to mention, Barefoot's project manager, Michael Starbuck. Michael is an amazing young man who was an awesome project manger. He too played an important role in how our project turned out. In closing, I strongly recommend Barefoot Pools and Custom Landscapes if you are considering building a pool. You won't regret it!

Tami and Ian were very up front and honest about cost and value of our choices. We had great communication and often had real time text of discussion with the entire Barefoot Pools leadership team. Our backyard is amazing and I love that we worked through one stellar company to do everything: pool, pavers, landscaping and more. We are already planning to use Barefoot Pools for another project.

"They are at a show this week....she will get back to you." Nothing. Then the the guy was on vacation. I left multiple messages but eventually I gave up. Tried to use a leaking hot tub best we could with no responses. Now it won't heat or jets don't come on. Probably fried something due to the first issue. DO NOT waste your money here. I bought a new tub from another local central coast vendor.

The shopping process was pleasant, welcoming, and my salesman was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. When I decided to move forward with the purchase, the salesman discussed the details of delivery and assured us that they would provide the delivery people who would remove the old spa and unload/install the new spa and I would only need to provide one person to be a spotter for their delivery people to ensure the spa doesn't tilt one way or the other. Delivery was very straightforward; my yard was very easy to get into and there was plenty of room. Then, when they called me to schedule delivery, they informed me I would need to provide two people to help with delivery and heavy lifting. I said this was not the agreement and that I didn't have anyone physically capable to help with this. Unfortunately, on delivery day, only two of their delivery people showed up. Me and my daughter were expected to move the old spa and unload the new one, which was something that we never agreed to and were unprepared for. I am a 62-year-old female with a back injury and was not able to help. If you go to the appliance store to purchase a new refrigerator, you aren't expected to have to help the delivery people drag it into your home and risk it being damaged, right? This was my fear as well as I didn't want to become injured and I didn't want my new spa damaged. To make matters worse, the new spa arrived on the delivery truck without any protective covering, plastic wrap, styrofoam, etc. It also had standing water in the bottom and water continued to drain from the jets during the moving process. It also had scrapes and scuffs on the top. There was a yellow hard water line around the entire inside of the spa. There was a sandpaper-like residue on the walls in the entire inside of the spa. The filters were filthy. And then I realized that I was given a floor/show model but I didn't agree to purchasing one. As of today, I am still working on removing the hard water residue on the inside and have yet to sit in and enjoy my spa. The delivery person poured some chemicals from the chemical kit into my spa and left. Considering this was a significant purchase, it was reasonable to expect a follow up call from a staff member to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase, the delivery process, etc. which of course, never happened. What was agreed upon during the sale was completely different from what actually happened. I feel misled and taken advantage of. This was a major purchase, and the lack of professionalism, customer service, and transparency is incredibly frustrating. Based on our experience, I recommend shopping around and purchasing from another company.
