One lady tending bar and waiting tables doing a bang up job. Side salad had pickled green bean salad and some garbanzo on the side, grated cheese and olives on top. Really fancy. I have had the lemon chicken pasta before. Really like it. A good portion of chicken . Family members had a burger on Kaiser Roll, The Jimmy, which is a burger with a sliced open bratwurst on top, and steak and shrimp. No complaints from this crowd is a huge compliment. read more

They're finally open after renovations! I love Elvis's! My family has been going there for decades. Now I'm in my 30's, have my own children and continue to go there, even though my fiancée and I don't drink. Their food is amazing! It's definitely not your typical "bar food", but more of a restaurant that has a full bar. My family and I have almost tried everything on the menu and have always been satisfied. The service is always great, most of the time it's just one cook and one server/bartender, so be patient. If the owners are there, they're the BEST hosts. If you're interested in classic cars, you'll never get out of there. The owners participate in car shows and their bar shows it. There is classic car memorabilia EVERYWHERE. Literally, on the walls and the ceiling. I swear I still find something new every time I'm there. I highly recommend the Elvis Burger if you like patty melts, the Junk Yard Dog (or Puppy) is also a family favorite. Insider tip, add a fried egg to your burger! Their fry sauce has a bit of horseradish in it, so be aware of that. They have the BEST ranch in town. They also have amazing daily specials. This was the second time we visited. The atmosphere is funky and cool, but on this occasion we ordered a local beer on tap and a dirty martini for our first round. The bartender hesitated ( said there was only one martini glass ). Gave a good pour. We switched to Kona Big Wave drafts for our second round. We've had that beer many times and have always liked it. This time it was pretty skunky and when my wife asked to switch it out we got nothing but attitude from the bartender. We cancelled our food order and promptly left. We have never been treated so poorly. Can't in good conscience recommend this place. Kind of a shame really, we returned because we had a good time our first visit. read more

I am an African American women. I came into this establishment on 08/30/22 approximately at 15:40. I entered the bar and asked if this was a restaurant. The waitress told me it was upstairs. I took a seat upstairs and I order a RUEBEN and fries platter. The waitress said she had to cook it as well. She brought me my order with a slice of watermelon. Now, fruit was NOT on the menu with that platter. If the waitress wanted to give me some fruit she could of asked me what I would like. I should of went on social media immediately and shown everyone what occurred. Better yet who was prodimintaly in the establishment. read more

I came to Elvis'a on my birthday and wouldn't you know the freaking Restaurant was closed to Renovation but still it does have good food.

Elvis' gets five stars, but it's a 'relative' five stars. There's nothing spectacular about this place, but the people are friendly and the above-average beer selection is cheap. We walked in at 9:30 (past the posted closing time of 9pm) and were served, even though the bartender was obviously on her way out. We even met Elvis, who was very friendly. Elvis, in this case, is a woman, though I don't know that she's named after the King. Based on conversation with other patrons, I'm sorry that we didn't get to try the food - maybe another time. Oh, and if you ask directions and are told that this place is 'near the airport', disregard. It's AT the airport - right there off the terminal. Maybe that explains the early closing time. Also..if you have a Magellan GPS, don't follow it - it takes you down a very wrong road on your way to this place. read more

Nice little find in Pendleton, even if you don't happen to waiting for a plane. The ribeye is a steal and is really tasty. Get the sauce on the side as it is ultra-sweet and it makes your potato and bread a soggy mess. Stick to meat and avoid the halibut at all costs. One in our party ordered halibut. What is the point of steaming halibut and then drowning it in a pool of melted butter? And why are they serving fish with this many bones? Ugh. Great service. Great hole in the wall. I went when it was slow but the people were nice and the food was good. I had the Cajun chicken pasta and side salad. I was not a fan of the salad. It had olives and pickled items. That's the only thing I would change. Food was great. Even the cook came out and talked to me. read more

Elvis is fantastic, have eaten both lunch and dinner here and have never been disappointed. I've only been here a few times and she already remembers who I am and what I have ordered in the past. The Junkyard Dog or Puppy is my two favorite meals here. The food is phenomenal and so is the atmosphere! Located right at the Pendleton Airport, you get to see planes take off as well as the Army's CH-47's. Elvis has always been a great host to us Army folk and is the hot spot for all the retirement, mobilization ceremonies and after drill weekend hangout spot for a cold beer and burger! If you have a taste for good burgers/food and cold beer then this place is a MUST!! read more

We got to the restaurant around 6:15 on a Friday evening. We'd heard good things about Elvis's and were looking forward to our dinner there. They weren't crowded although there was a group of 12 or so at one table. There were maybe 25 people total including me and my friend. We ordered hamburgers and didn't get our food until 7:45. Yes, an hour and half later for two hamburgers! Nothing fancy, just hamburgers. We had plans to leave town at 7:30 to head to a movie so we adjusted our plans to wait for our dinner since we'd been looking forward to it. Then we get burgers that are obviously frozen patties with little flavor in them. How did it take an hour and half to grill frozen patties? They didn't even add seasoning or sauce to them?!?! The burgers were bland, tasteless, and poor quality - even to two people who waited an hour and half for their dinner, one of them a very hungry man. Then, to top it off, as I'm chewing my hamburger, I notice there's a hair in my mouth...a very long hair. I don't have long hair. My hair goes just past my ears. We waited almost two hours then I don't even get to eat half of my burger because of a 12" long hair. I was done at that point. I went up to the counter and talked to the waitress (because the waitress didn't come back to our table to check on us after delivering our food) . She talked to a lady sitting at the counter (I'm assuming an owner?) who told her to give me my burger for free. We put money down for the other burger and walked out. We won't ever go back. The waitress could've told us at any point that it was a 1-1/2 hour wait for food. This was not a busy, long-line kind of restaurant. This was a small diner at the airport in Pendleton, OR. The waitress came to our our table once to check on our drinks. She never once explained that there was a wait or said anything about being short-staffed. We still don't know what the issue was. My best friend comes into town twice a year. So I took him to Elvis's. I ordered a rum & coke. Immediately I was informed that it would have to be Pepsi. They don't have Coke. Oh kayyy. Received my drink. Cheap rum & watered down Pepsi. My friend ordered the rib eye w/shrimp. I ordered a steak w/the whiskey sauce. My friend received his rib eye, a tiny baked potato. NO SHRIMP. He didn't get his shrimp until he finished his meal. My steak was loaded with fat & gristle. I also got a tiny baked potato. And the whiskey sauce made me sick. The waitress was nice enough though it would have been nice if we saw her a bit more often. And she was dressed like she was going to hang out with friends. The restaurant was decorated in a mix of 40's, 50's & 60's paraphernalia but country western was coming from the bar. Not again. I can cook way better for less cost. read more

Ok, this place is a trip. The decor alone is worth stopping in for. From antique wagons and scooters hanging from the ceiling to all the cool old signs it's a visual assault of nostalgia. Nestled in the Pendleton airport it has a surprising number of local regulars. The owner, Elvis, is a character as well. She's no nonsense though so keep any cute jokes about her name to yourself. Don't waste your time or money here!!!! Service is slow, and the food sucked! The whiskey rib eye steak was horrible! Full of grizzle and fat, and so tough the piss poor knife they gave me couldn't cut it! After bringing out our food the waitress didn't bother to come back to see how we were doing. One of our group bused the table so we could have room to spread out and have some drinks. And still no waitress. Don't bother during up the hill, go to McDonalds and you'll get a better meal. read more

Stopped in to check the place out, the decor is quite interesting. The food is above average. I had the Jimmy burger a burger that is topped with German sausage, grilled onions, Swiss cheese and mustard on a hoagie bun with a side of their house made macaroni salad. The burger had good flavor the mac salad was good though a bit dry, in all fairness i just like mayo. All in all a very pleasant experience, I recommend giving them a try. read more

I went here with 7 other people. They were not busy at all. The service was really slow. It took over one hour just to get our food (we all ordered hamburgers). Mine was cold and it was clear it had been sitting around for a long time. I will not go here again. There are much better places around than this place. read more

I really like the food at this place but the food is not everything you have to have great customer service! I went to this place december 1st 2011 and arrived at 8:31 pm the open sign was on so my family and I walked in and started to head up where the resturant seating is and the bartender says the grill is closed and we are oh well ur open sign was on what time does the grill close and she says well the grill closes at 8:30pm so i look at my watch and it is 8:33pm!!! I am a little bit frustrated that they wouldnt serve my family. After all we where only 3 mins past closing and the open sign was still on. I probly will not be ever going up there again and will not be recomending this place anytime soon. There loss tho they missed out on a 50.00 mill plus tip but i guess my money was not welcome. world of mouth travels faster then anything i hope that this will help them relize that going over and beyond for customer is going to give not only the employees and good rep but elvis as a business owner and the elvis's as a resturant! read more

we love eating here. my husband loves the fry sauce. it has a tad bit of horseradish in it. Very good food and reasonable priced
