We had a fun girls day at the spa! The staff was so friendly and we had amazing pedicures. The one we got had multiple massages and it was so relaxing. The general ambiance isn't the nicest as some but not a deal breaker. read more

Pedicure was rushed and no need because they were not busy. Manicurist scrubbed a callus on my toe so hard that it bled. I wanted to support Helen, the owner, but I will not return. Worse pedicure and too expensive for the abbreviated service and extremely poor quality. read more

Another amazing experience at Elude! Love this place and all of their employees. I got exactly what I asked for and more! read more

One of the best pedicures I've gotten in the area. I had first gone over to Rose Nails for what I hoped to be an in and out experience, as I got there shortly after opening on a Friday morning. After waiting for 45 minutes, I got up & left, having decided that no pedicure was worth that wait. Noticed Elude Nails across the street from HWD Antiques & walked right in & was seen right away. The woman who did mine was incredible. Kind, gracious, brought me water without asking, & she had her work cut out for her with the thick callouses I'd developed after a summer barefoot outdoors! She took her time and worked her tail off. Highly recommend. It's now my go to nail spot. Plus they're highly attentive to cleanliness- they use pedicure tub wrap/covers for each customer and make it a practice to sanitize items used in front of you to guarantee equipment is clean. read more

I really want to love this place because they do a good job with my nails and my gel manis always seem to last for weeks. My issue is they are just sooooo slow. Need more staff. Even if you call ahead and make an apt, you're still stuck waiting. I've even had the owner try to make me come back at a later time after calling ahead to confirm what time I could come. I just don't have time and prefer to go to a place that is more efficient. read more

We called in for an appointment about 3 hours in advance, and still waited for a while when we got there. Everything was super rushed and was overall not relaxing at all. read more

My mom and I are in town for orientation and wanted to get a pedicure. I went on google and searched nail salons near me. Elude Nail Spa popped up and they said we could come in for two pedicures. Hugh did my nails and a woman did my mom's. The amount of detail they put into doing our nails and how careful they were was AMAZING! Not to mention they were very kind people. I walked away feeling like I got what I paid for. I highly recommend checking them out next time you're in Homewood, AL! I will be back soon! read more

Elude Nail Spa - Phone - Waxing Near Me - Mountain Brook, Alabama

Very friendly staff and always quick service. Their pedicures are very good and I didn't feel rushed during my treatment. I had a regular manicure on 3/1/2020 that had a couple blemishes but overall very happy with the service here and will be going back. Also very convenient that they are open on Sundays. read more

Mother called to make an APPT for our 3 girls for the day of Homecoming. They didn't "write it in the books" so the girls sat for an hour. One mother went to the shop to speak about this and another called. If you forget to write down an appt for 3 then make it right...they did not and gave grief to the mother who came in. This is a neighborhood where business is just there. Many others have had issues with lateness and confrontation. Not thrilled. read more

Horrible place. They rushed through my pedicure and basically pushed me out the door before my toes were even dry. The pedicure was horrible- 15 minutes max. They treated some customers with so much respect giving them long massages and special treatment and just kicked me out like my business didn't matter. read more

Full set acrylic nails, He didn't trim my natural nails under or cut the cuticle. Once I drove off I realized how thick and almost wonky/cheap looking the nails are, under the nail on the bottom there's lumps all over where they should've been sanded down, overall they aren't terrible but for 67$ and a 20$ tip I just would have expected better. read more

They had done my nails 2 other time. Such bad service. She cut my nails down way too short!!! But only on one hand! So one had was longer than the other and they looked awful. When i asked her to start over and just put tips on both hands to make the size even they told me no!!!! What has ever happened to the customer is always right??? wont go back. read more

Just got finished getting a pedicure and had an awful experience. The nail technician was in a foul mood and was very rough during the pedicure. Not pleasant at all!! Half way through she told me to put away my phone. I was checking work emails and I asked her why I needed to put it down. She told me that water could splash on it!!! She was snarky the whole time and when she was done she walked off and said someone else could paint my toes. I watched her go to the back and fold towels. I am absolutely disgusted at her behavior and will never go back. I have gone here many times and have never had a bad experience. They have lost my business. read more

Edit: when my friend took off her polish it was green underneath one of her nails. Google said it was probably due to moisture under the nail, but either way it was a rough experience. read more

Went here to use a gift card that I have received and haven't been able to use since I moved away from this area. I was visiting and thought I should use my card that I have been saving all this time. Was checking out and the owner aggressively told me that my card was over two years old and I couldn't use it, mind you there is no expiration date on the card or envelope. She also said she wouldn't know how much it was for even though it said "$35" on the card. Extremely disappointed in the way things were handled. Super unfriendly and stubborn owner which is a shame because her employees are working hard. read more

Very clean. Made an appointment for a pedicure with a friend. Showed up and was seeing almost immediately. All pedicure bowls freshly lined, technicians are gloved, sterile instruments. Peaceful environment. read more

I called prior to coming. When I got there the older lady was very rude. Everything I asked for she said I couldn't get that day I would have to come back. She said they were busy. There was only one person in a seat and one person waiting. I tried to show her what I wanted and was still brushed off. The other people in there she greeted them nicely answered their questions and was not told they had to come back . I hate to say that i was denied service because of the color of my skin , but that is the only thing that was different about me and the other customers. I will never try this place again! And if im asked I will surely share my experience! read more

Called ahead of time to make sure that we could walk in and get our nails done, and was told we can walk in. When we get there we were told "we don't have any time for y'all." This was obviously racist. I won't recommend anyone to come here unless they want to be treated as less than and not worth their time based off of your skin color. I wouldn't even give one star. read more

I loved this nail spa! My friend got me a gift card to this new place and me and her had a girls day. I decided to try gel nails. The guy who did them did very well and it was so relaxing. There prices are also amazing! The basic manicure was only 17 dollars and the gel manicure was only 40. I highly recommend this nail spa! read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! VERY HAPPY!!! I was in need for a mani/pedi night on Tuesday and needed a new spot since I recently moved. Called around to the local hot spots like Genesis and they said sorry, we don't take appointments or you can have 1 service...blah blah blah, so I was searching and stumbled upon this place. Had semi high hopes, I was very happy when I left. I walked in, got greeted right away by a nice man. He offered me a drink and asked what color and services I would like. He took me to a seat as soon as I picked a color. He took to me and asked how I liked my services. I told him I was in need of a good massage and a pretty color in gel. He said, don't worry. Let me show you how we take care of you here. I was so pleased to hear that. We started wrapping my nails at the bar and then went to a chair. The chair was great and so was the conversation with the gentleman taking care of me and the ladies around talking about how they liked the place since it was newer. The deluxe pedicure is what I ordered and everything about it was deluxe. The salt scrub, the mask, the stones etc. The massage itself almost put me into a trans it was so nice to just be still and feel like I was getting a spa treatment. I picked a vintage red and it was just perfect. After my pedicure, we moved to another spot for my manicure. He did everything perfectly. Very clean tools, very thorough, and very good. The collagen gloves were a lovely surprise. I left feeling like I had come from the spa. He took his time with me made me feel very relaxed, just like I was hoping for. I will definitely be back in 2 weeks for a new color on my nails. Highly Recommend this new spot! read more
