The portions here are HUGE! Great outdoor seating, even though it's on a busy road, they do a nice job of making you feel secluded. The staff was friendly and the building (built in the 1700s) is very cool. Tonight the @OldPubClub crossed state lines to check out @ElpediosRistorante in the historic #SeipsvilleInn in #EastonPA . We had some tasty cocktails and delicious meals while being attended to by a very friendly and helpful staff consisting of mostly current and former teachers. Thanks @DinoPettinelli for stopping by to chat and sending a round of homemade #lemoncello to our table. Elpedio's is located in the historic Seipsville Inn, a stone building constructed in 1760. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the structure features 18th-century architecture, including eight fireplaces, deep window wells, and exposed beams. Elpedio "Pete" Pettinelli bought it in 1977, restoring it before opening the restaurant in 1981. Everything was amazing at this restaurant. The food, portions, service and atmosphere. Peter, one of the owners, took the time to show us around and tell us the history of the building and my wifes ancestor who originally built it. My stepson was especially grateful for the experience and the food. Highly recommend!!! read more

I requested a salad to be served without two things on it, I was told they could only serve it as is was described on the menu, despite the resturant being almost empty. Another in our party was served Veal Parmigiano that was overcooked (burnt). One member of our party had to go find our server, or any server, to bring a fork, cheese and more drinks after our dinner had been served and we waited a while. It was a very disappointing experience in a pretty atmosphere. We will not be back. read more

On May 23, my wife and I reserved a table at 6:15 went there ate a meal the following morning I checked my bank statement and noticed that there are two charges for $175.98 and one charge for $147.98 I call and they say oh the next business day is Tuesday being a memorial day weekend we cannot help you and refund your money until then. I honestly have not eaten food this bad in years. Our friendly server told us the seafood risotto was to die for, so I decided to order it. The lobster tail seemed undercooked and limp. The garlic oil they have for dipping was disgusting. Can't get the taste out of my mouth and only used it once. Ate one of the shrimp and couldn't bare to take a bite of anything else on my plate. My husband got the autumn ravioli special, also, not good. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. A waste of $120. Sat at the bar last night. Kate was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Bang bang shrimp was good, pass on the wings, not crispy. Stuffed chicken was delicious and veal Milanese was very large. Tomato sauce on side pasta seemed like it was from a jar although the pasta was good. The only bread offered was a nine dollars focaccia bread , which Is pretty chintzy at a premium priced Italian restaurant. Not busy on a Friday night. read more

Beautiful atmosphere, food was okay, wine was meh... I was excited to get fresh pasta but underwhelmed with their sauce, it's a sweet marinara and just not what I prefer. I had veal Marsala, veal was tender and tasty but the sauce was creamy, I've never had cream based Marsala and my pasta was over cooked mush. My husband had the eggplant it was thick and soggy. I really wanted to love this place as the building is beautiful and the story of the building really cool but the food was mediocre. read more

We recently hosted a catered baptism for around 60 guests and the experience was wonderful. Our guests are still raving about the food. The staff was eager to help and ensured that our event ran smoothly. We were unaware of the building's historical significance. It predates the Revolutionary War and has beautifully retained much of its original charm, with exposed stone and beams that adds ambiance. The location proved very convenient for our guests thanks to the available parking. We would not hesitate to host another event here. The value for the quality of service and setting was exceptional and was a very reasonable choice. read more

She vowed never to return. But because we like to support local businesses, I convinced her to give it another try. Boy, was l ever sorry. My sister wasn't lying. she and I sat at the bar for one hour waiting for her husband. Luckily, lovely Kate was again the waitress. However, the owner was making drinks directly I. front of us and never even said hello. Never looked at us, never acknowledged us. Nothing. Same for the younger bald guy who does all the social media. Not so much as a "how are you" or "thanks for coming in". My brother-in-law came in an hour later and again, no one acknowledged him. At all. We got our bill, walked out and went to The Coop (amazing bar service, amazing food, great live band). I cannot fathom how the owners can be so rude. Had an amazing dinner at Elpedio's tonight. Between four of us we had the pork chop, boneless rib eye steak, and chicken parm. Everything from drinks and appetizers to entrees and dessert was fabulous. You must try the Low Country Clam Chowder! Our server was very attentive but didn't rush us through our meal. The building is beautiful with many varied dining areas including a beautiful outdoor area. We will definitely be returning regularly.! read more

We were there almost 2 hrs w/out entrees and my wife's entrée came out 15 min before mine. Due to this we took our meals to go to find 2 of 6 muscles dead in the entrée (streamed at home and would not open).. we should not have been served closed muscles under any circumstances.
