Why this place earns a 4 star review in my opinion was the staff! Our hostess / waitress and the bartender were both awesome friendly and helpful. Inside is a classic retro Italian restaurant feel. Everything was clean and well kept, They bring you fresh bread and butter to the table which my girls could not get enough of. We also had the cheese pizza which they call a bar pie. You can easily miss this relatively nondescript, small restaurant on a bend in the road (611) and Delaware River. You can easily miss that it's an Italian restaurant with a name like Terry's. If you do however, you'll be missing out on a FANTASTIC experience. The staff is warm and welcoming, and includes the hands-on married owners who bartend, serve and craft desserts. As well as their son, the chef, who transforms fresh ingredients and traditional red-sauce Italian dishes into meals well above the expected. A Culinary delight! Homemade pasta. Had homemade ravioli with Alfredo sauce. Magnifique!! My friend visiting from out-of-town was also impressed with her dinner. Salad...the best!! My sister and I like to come to this hidden gem to share pizza, salad and chicken parm with fettuccine Alfredo. The pizza is kind of an upside down pizza with the perfect crisp. The salad is always fresh with a good oil and vinegar house dressing. The chicken parm is perfection and we always order the fettuccine as the side of pasta with it. I definitely recommend checking this place out, but most likely may need a reservation if dining in a weekend! This weekend we tried the antipasto, I probably would not order that salad again because it isn't the typical ham, salami, provolone. I didn't read the menu and it has a lot of prosciutto which I am not a fan of. But of course I will be back for pasta and pizza! read more

The parking is real good. The food wasn't bad it just wasn't great. I thought I would get "fresh " ravoli. When you have a choice of different kindsand they are ready in 5 minutes they are not homemade. And the inside of the place is soooooo out dated. Terry's used to be one of my favorite restaurants. But, honestly, they are slipping and must up their game to get people to return. Food was good (although our antipasto excluded many things listed on the menu) but customer service was very poor. Poor communication between waitress and chef & management!! Every issue was followed by "You have to understand, we are short staffed." Well, I believe when a couple is paying well over $100 for 2 people the food & service must be well worth it!! The staff was attentive. They are in sync with the kitchen and bar. The food was delicious. Grilled vegetables were crisp and nicely seasoned. The cannolis are not filled ahead of time. If you are looking for good Italian food.... something found in NY or NJ, this is not the place. The food is mediocre at best. It's not horrible, it is edible but not good. The place has a cute ambience with orange fluorescent lights and a fireplace, but no music. Some cute paintings on the wall and a crowded bar. The house wine is probably from a cheap box variety and you cannot get glasses of better wine. If you are here make sure you pay extra for the better bottle. We had a good waitress who was very nice so she switched out our carafe for a better bottle. This is why they received two stars. For our salads, the house balsamic vinaigrette had no flavor. But add your own salt and it was edible. For the entrees, we had the shrimp scampi and veal parm (pictures attached). The shrimp were decent but I would not call it scampi. More like a lemon brown soup. The veal parm was a thick tougher piece of veal, not what you would normally think of for veal parm. The marinara was decent. The best part of this place was our waitress who was friendly and sweet. But unfortunately this was not enough to get us to return. We will not be back. read more

This restaurant looks shady from the outside and is shady on the inside. The chicken piccata was in a bowl of lemon juice that was very sour. My friend's chicken Francais was like dry chicken fingers on a bed of pasta and green beans. I do not recommend this place. We'll they got my husband's order done well but my past primavera was awful! Plan pasta dumped on a plate next to some veggies. In my book, this is not primavera. I hate to give this review but the disappointment needs to be heard. We enjoyed going to Terry's at least once a week. Enjoyed both their bar menu and their regular menu until one visit changed our view entirely. On a busy night we visited not only was the food bad but the customer service was worst. Ordered a pasta dish that was soar as hell and a panini that was burnt on one side. The waitress never checked on us due to a large table she attended. Ate only half the panini cause we were starving due to the long wait. We finally got the waitress to service us and we explained the complaints and to our surprise she just removed the food and without confirming if we wanted to take it home returned with a check and no apology. After we asked to have something off the check the waitress spoke with another staff who threw her hands up expressing frustration in our view. We're more for customer service over food. Food can be redone but the customer service left a soar taste just like the pasta. Ewwww If your looking for mom and pop spot with great food and customer service I wouldn't recommend Terrys. read more

This spot is our new go to! Never even knew it was here till our friends told us about it and I am so glad that we listened to them. If your looking for a place to make you feel like your at your grandmas for Sunday dinner with the fam then this it. Loved all the regulars chatting it up with the waitresses (can't wait to be one) that you can tell that there are more then customers they are family. The food was amazing! We had the fired calamari for an appetizer and the breading and calamari where on point. Super fresh and yummy! My husband orders chicken parmigiana every where we go and he said that hands down was the best chicken parmigiana he has ever had. I had the fettuccini Alfredo with chicken and it made all my creamy Alfredo dreams come true. We had the cannoli for dessert and again out of the park. We used to enjoy coming to Terry's any time we are in the Rieglesville/Easton area, however, this past experience was not the best. I am not sure if they changed chefs or ownership or both, but the veal francese (which I got) and veal marsala (which my partner ordered) both had a very WEIRD taste. Sour, like curdled milk or something that spoiled. Just not good at all. The salads and homemade dressing were the best part of the meal. Although, the service was good and our waitress was extremely nice, the entrees were extremely disappointing. We won't be rushing back anytime soon. Too many other great restaurants around. read more

My wife and I tried Terry's this evening. This is a neat, homey place where most of the patrons are regulars (which is a good thing!). Our waitress, Nancy, spoke to us like we were lifelong patrons, and answered any questions we had. The house bread is warm and freshly made...and we ordered appetizers of the garlic bread plus (mozzarella and sauce on it), the artichoke special (breaded and served with roasted red pepper sauce), and two meatballs. Everything tasted excellent, and the meatballs were just about the size of tennis balls (slightly smaller). My wife ordered the chicken and sausage entree, while I got the chicken special (breaded, served with vegetable medley and potatoes). Portions were big, but not overbearing. The food is made when you order, so it takes a bit to come out but it is worth it. We would definitely make a return trip. It is a family owned restaurant that takes pride in what they do, and it is a neat and welcoming atmosphere inside. The food hit the spot! read more

Interior and exterior in states of various decay. Paintings in the wall and some novel woodwork are best inclusions to color the walls. Servers were friendly but short in supply even though the room wasn't running on full demand. Received a re-issued bread basket stained with someone else's dinner about 45 minutes into service. Wait for meal was filled with long pauses and waits for beverage refills. Flavors tasted good, but arrived lukewarm. Hungry overruled until puncturing mouth on a metal wire in the food (looked like a twisted staple). It was explained as a bristle fragment from cleaning brushes. They wrote the item off the receipt and apologized. Sorry to share the experience. read more

We had made reservations, as it seemed that they were needed. But this was on a cold snowy night when many people weren't venturing outside, so the restaurant (even on a Friday night) was almost empty. Loved the food and loved the service. There were only 3 other occupied tables at the time, so that could be why service was very attentive and why our dishes arrived promptly. Ambiance is a little quiet, not formal, just hushed. Informal atmosphere. Interior was kinda dark, which I understand restaurants do to inspire a feeling of intimacy. Definitely a place to revisit, which I'm sure I will do. read more

I grew up down the street from this place but today was my first visit. I feel like I've been missing out for the last 30+ years. I went with 3 other people and everyone LOVED everything! The red sangaria is better than the white. The white was too much lemon flavor for me. The appetizers were simple and wonderfully tasty. Everyone shared a few bites of their entrees and all were great. My dad got a side of meatballs and they were huge! I definitely plan to go back and highly recommend to others. Wonderful staff. The valentines special was worth every penny. Eat in or take out. Easy parking. Cozy bar with good selection and always four great beers on tap. One of the few places you can get nut brown ale in the bottle in the area. Favorites include, chicken piccata (sp?) pizza extra crispy, gnocchi with cream sauce. This is now a once a week place minimum. They are not usually open Mondays or Tuesdays. My wife Loves their blue cheese dressing and the spinach raviolli. Last night went to Terry's for a final toast hours before moving out of the area. This has become OUR FAVORITE place to go for a great meal. Be it a nice fancy meal or just a casual time. I honestly have to say I've found a little bit of home in PA! Terry's is not only a place for excellent, quality food, but the staff has made us feel very welcome! We have been there three times in the past 2 months and each time it is better. This past weekend we had dinner and again were so happy we chose the "little place around the corner!" We've really grown to love it here. Now for the food, I had the special, which I've had each time we have gone. The special was a sauteed lobster over fettucine noodles in an olive oil sauce with the freshest little grape tomatos. It was excellent! The fresh mozzarella and tomatos is excellent here as well. I mentioned that I wonder where the tomatos come from being so fresh. And once again I had the scungilli salad! I've had this three times and all three times it is awesome! Disappointment is the word that comes to mind. We went for date night early on a Friday night. Even though there were a dozen empty tables, they sat us at a table between the swinging kitchen door and the serving center. My view the whole evening was that of a wall of certificates. And every time the loud swinging door opened (which was frequently) I was subjected to a bright flash of light. On the other side of us were employees. They tried to talk softly but we could hear every word they said because there was no music playing. It was very awkward. As far as the food, the cut of chicken I had was so poor, I only got about 4 bites out of it. Most of it was fatty. I left hungry. My husband was left with a steep bill but offered to buy me something on the way home. How sad. Never going back. By the way, there were about 8 empty tables when we left. I've been hearing about this place for years. I was driving past and decided to stop since Italian food is my favorite. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana that came out in a casserole form. It was the best eggplant parmigiana that I have EVER had. The eggplant was amazing and was the star of the dish instead of the cheese or breading.
