At the point another employee came back and asked us what it was. It turns out he was a new employee and still finding his way. No problem. No one starts out an expert at anything. We told him that was the case originally, but it was corrected by another employee and it was good now. The food took about ten minutes and wasn't presented as the prettiest meal I've ever eaten. Both lids on my Jalapeño Turkey Crunch appeared to be sliding off the side and the pickled looked like it had been mushed in the hands of a toddle, barely resembling a pickle. It made it a VERY messy, high-napkin-utilization meal. While the tables were addressed quickly after diners leaving, the floors were another story. Yes, it was lunch rush, but at the same time it takes a micro-second to pick up an errant straw wrapper or napkin. This location has a nice outside seating area with several table and umbrellas. This has never been an issue for us until yesterday when reaching checkout and paying for my sandwich I was confronted by the self proclaimed district manager of Jersey mikes requiring me to pay for two sandwiches. The store staff had incorrectly made my request into two regular sandwiches one being turkey and one being ham (neither being an actual club sub.) At the time of this confrontation I had already completed the purchase and was simply waiting for the sandwich. I reiterated to the district manager and other restaurant staff my order was for one sub with no additional meat - simply split the way I had requested. The manager became aggressive, again reiterating that now I had to pay for two sandwiches because they did not follow directions. Since this was not right I refused and I was told to leave the store and that I was now "banned from Jersey Mikes" according to the district manager. He proceeded to insult and mumble unprofessionally with zero tact as I stood waiting to be refunded for the sandwich I was no longer going to be allowed to receive. We left and immediately went to a competitor sandwich provider down the street. I have been a Jersey mikes customer for years and never received such a terrible experience inside one of the shops. Pretty tasty, but sweeter than expected, and one had to really hunt for any tiny little lobster pieces. Our table had 2 black and bleu burgers w/really good fries; the brisket grilled cheese, which our friend said was delicious, w/fries; and the ala-carte tacos which were amply filled but needed seasoning desperately. No accompanying salsa, and no crispy chips or other sides. Each taco came on its own separate tiny plate, so they cooled very quickly.
