WOW, I contacted this company to take out a huge palm tree in our back yard. I had hardly signed the contract, and the guy wanted to come in 30 minutes. I told him I needed to let my neighbor know so he could expect some noise and I also wanted to contact our HOA in case they needed to use the green belt. They came at a day and time that was good for us and they had the tree down in no time! We contacted ELM about a month ago for an estimation. Ryan quoted us really reasonable for our palm tree that we want to get rid of in front of our house. The quote includes excavation, removal and haul for the tree. About a week ago we contacted them thru YELP again to see if they have any opening slot to come by at our house and start the digging. Texted back and forth and finalized the time they will come over between 8-9am today. About 8:30 no one showed up so we tried to contact them to see if they are nearby but unfortunately they were running 2 hours late. My hubby took a day off for this. So you know how he is quite disappointed. The crew came by around 11. They were informed that they are just going to cut the tree and not includes the digging. I was a little bit disappointed due to misunderstanding and we were told that if I want this to be dig I have to add another $80 :( I have to show them the messages and finally they agreed with the said amount we discussed. Nevertheless, all in all they are very amicable and they told us if we were ok to wait for a couple of hours and someone is going to come by to finish digging. We agreed and they started the process. They have this huge truck with a machinery that could shred the tree into small particles. Both crew were looking professional and knows what they are doing. I was worried at first that my neighbor might complain about the noise, dirt and debris but ELM seems to have everything under control. About an hour after Ryan came by to finish the digging. He also have this machine who could take the whole thing apart. It only took him about 30 minutes. I was totally impressed. Nothing more than just dust small tiny mulch around my front lawn after he completed the job. . Excellent ,speedy and very professional. The service is great. Just the one star deduction for the missed appointed time. Overall, I am satisfied with their work I was also provided a receipt. Truly exceptional.
