The first driver they dispatched was unfortunately rear-ended in a 4 car collision, yet they were able to send another driver out within 15 minutes of that happening. To add to the incredible service, when the new driver, Ken, arrived, I indicated that the rim for the loaner he was carrying was completely different than mine, and that I was driving out of town to an event the following morning. After making some calls to check with supervisors and staff, he pleaded my case and was able to get permission to return to the shop and grab a different rim. He returned with a new rim that matched my car perfectly -- and did not even have any loaner paint on it! I mean what are the chances your tow truck needs a tow truck?!! I broke down on 280S on my commute home, and had my first towing experience (something that was never on my bucket list!) No one ever likes a towing company but they get the job done. When breaking my vehicle out of this place they were as kind and courteous as a towing company can be. Rates are high, and phone receptionists do not know the pricing. So in a way you feel scammed because the people answering the phones can't or won't tell you what the rate is. As a business tip I would leave a list for them to genetically read off if someone calls in to know how much they might need in order to get their vehicle out. The biggest problem is not having transparency about what they charge. read more

Having never been in a car accident, I was unaware of how the whole 'after' process works. I can tell you I am forever thankful for Ellison's tow truck drivers that showed up at the scene (particularly Adam and Carlos), who were so kind, patient, helpful and overall good guys who were great at their job. They made a horrible experience I was having a little less so. Going to the business office the next day was just as wonderful. Liz was great with giving me information over the phone and then escorting me to my car all while chatting and being upbeat and supportive of my situation. Sarah was amazingly knowledgeable and appeared to be able to handle many situations in the office at once and handle them well!! Ellison's has some great employees, who are really solid humans.
