Mr. Bill Zundell quickly replied (within a day) saying it shouldn't be an issue. About four weeks later the ring came in, I took it to their store and told them I wanted a thin gold band. I am not overly familiar with jewelry, but they quickly took me to show me examples, recommended four prongs (instead of six - to show off the stone), had my ticket written up and price estimate all done in less than 10 minutes. To me, this was a perfect experience. I knew what I wanted, just needed a little bit of guidance, and didn't want any sales pitches for a more expensive band. My ring was ready within 2 weeks and it couldn't be more perfect. We also thought the price to remove the stone and reset it, including the price of the setting was VERY reasonable. Now that we've upgraded my engagement ring, I'll need a new wedding band. We'll definitely be getting it at Zundel's.

That Tuesday came and my wife called about her rings and was told the jeweler was back up and the rings would be done that evening or the next morning. So she called back Wednesday at 12 to get an update and the jeweler had a rude comment saying that he can't work on the rings if he was always on the phone with her. So I then called them and there was zero communication when I got on the phone with them I just wanted a new eta because I understand getting backed up just wanted a new time line and I wanted to know what the progress of the rings were. I was given no answer except the rings will be done when they are done or I could get a refund. We had a photographer lined up for the weekend because we expected the rings to be done and we have now wasted three weeks and have to fine a new jeweler. I just didn't trust them with my wife's great grandmothers ring that is 103 years old if they couldn't tell me what had been done to the ring and were rude when we called the day after they said they were going to be finished on.
