What I like best is that they are very knowledgeable and helpful. They will help you find an usual and Custom type piece. On rare occasion when I have brought a piece back for exchange they have been extremely kind and willing to try and please me with different options. No wonder this business has been around for over 70 years. They know what customer service is all about! I very highly recommend them. I give them five stars! Dan McDaniel

I was more than impressed with the customer service and repair done on my items at Elliot's. My own personal experience is worth a 10 star review. My in-laws gave me a 50 year old ring, very beautiful and big. Elliot's not only resized it but they took incredible care of this delicate and sentimental piece and have done an astonishing job giving it a second life. The second item I had asked to be worked on is an earring that they were able to turn into a pendant. Thank you to everyone at Elliot's! I can't wait to recommend this business and come back for a Mobile momento. Anna Williams

We dropped my wife's rings of to get sized and one plated to Mach the other they had a great price…read moreand told us it would take three weeks and be ready on a Tuesday. That Tuesday came and my wife called about her rings and was told the jeweler was back up and the rings would be done that evening or the next morning. So she called back Wednesday at 12 to get an update and the jeweler had a rude comment saying that he can't work on the rings if he was always on the phone with her. So I then called them and there was zero communication when I got on the phone with them I just wanted a new eta because I understand getting backed up just wanted a new time line and I wanted to know what the progress of the rings were. I was given no answer except the rings will be done when they are done or I could get a refund. We had a photographer lined up for the weekend because we expected the rings to be done and we have now wasted three weeks and have to fine a new jeweler. I just didn't trust them with my wife's great grandmothers ring that is 103 years old if they couldn't tell me what had been done to the ring and were rude when we called the day after they said they were going to be finished on.

I took in a two wedding bands. One belonged to my grandmother (it is actually her ring and my…read moregrandfather's ring combined into one after his passing) and the other is my father's (their son.) I had a vision of how I wanted to combine the rings into one so that I could wear it. The kind people at Hayes listened to what I wanted, we talked it through, and they made it happen to perfection! I could not be happier with the piece of family history I can now proudly wear and bring a piece of my grandparents and parents love. Its like having them with me everywhere I go. The price was fair and the work was completed well before the requested time. Thank you all for making my heart smile!

We recently bought a ring in an estate sale. I had emailed Zundel's asking if they would be able to…read morereset the stone for me. Mr. Bill Zundell quickly replied (within a day) saying it shouldn't be an issue. About four weeks later the ring came in, I took it to their store and told them I wanted a thin gold band. I am not overly familiar with jewelry, but they quickly took me to show me examples, recommended four prongs (instead of six - to show off the stone), had my ticket written up and price estimate all done in less than 10 minutes. To me, this was a perfect experience. I knew what I wanted, just needed a little bit of guidance, and didn't want any sales pitches for a more expensive band. My ring was ready within 2 weeks and it couldn't be more perfect. We also thought the price to remove the stone and reset it, including the price of the setting was VERY reasonable. Now that we've upgraded my engagement ring, I'll need a new wedding band. We'll definitely be getting it at Zundel's.
