The person followed us over to our table and made several smart remarks about the dog. We always find an isolated table or a bench seat so as not to bother other diners. Some people make a big deal about dogs being allowed in restaurants. The woman mad a big deal about me carrying the dog in. The restaurant was busy and it was easier fro me to carry the dog in than let her navigate through the many diners.Afetr her terrible attitude and smart remarks we left. We told her that we would never be back.Oh and there were several members of the congregation in the restaurant. They had arrived moments earlier who could vouch for my dog being a service dog as she attends all the services. She was clearly marked as a service dog and I had the necessary papers to prove it but was never asked. She was rude and looking for a confrontation.

Itty Bitty Diner seems like a favourite breakfast and lunch spot for locals, which is located next…read moredoor to the OPP. The casual full service "itty bitty" dining room is inviting and homey with tables and hard booths. Various neat decor hangs on the light beige walls (peacock ceramic, classic signs, words of wisdom signs). The breakfast offerings here consist of egg platters, omelettes, pancakes, French toast, oatmeal & breakfast sides. All breakfasts come with coffee or tea, The lunch offerings consist of wraps, sandwiches, soups, salads, burgers, hot dogs, and platters (chicken fingers, hot sandwiches (with gravy), fish & chips, hamburger steak, liver & onions, roast beef dinner) and sweets for dessert. The prices here are very reasonable, with many items well under $10 including all of the breakfast menu. This is probably why this place is so busy, I stopped here for Saturday morning breakfast and the parking lot was almost full. Upon entering the diner, the place was hopping with just about every table occupied with customers. I only had to wait about a minute as folks were leaving the place and I immediately took a seat at the far end of the "itty bitty" dining room. The waitress had to wipe down my table first. I started out with hot coffee (included) and ordered the Western Omelette ($7.25) with homefries & wheat toast. The Western omelette was a standard grilled folded egg blended ham & onions. The homefries were small fresh cut potatoes grilled browned and seasoned soft. The wheat toast (triangle cuts) was buttered, jams provided. The food was good. The service here was delayed and minimal attention given since the place was very busy. The food took about 25 minutes to arrive after ordering and I was given a refill on the coffee after my food was served. There was no cream (creamers) on the table, just sugar only, so I ended up drinking my coffee black. I settled the check up at the front register.
