I came to Ariel several years ago for couples counseling, and worked with her through the pain of a miscarriage. After a hiatus, I returned for what I thought was temporary support to get me through an immediate crisis, and ultimately has lead to me rewriting how I see myself and walk through the world. Ariel is a deeply knowledgable professional, one who adeptly brings tools, skills and perspectives from a range of therapeutic techniques, in service to helping her clients gain deep understanding of their histories, traumas, coping/survival mechanisms and the "why" to ingrained responses and patterns of behavior. I am truly appreciative of Ariel's kind, thoughtful and insightful approach, one that inspires me to increase my awareness, allows me to push my boundaries, and grow in ways I hadn't even considered. And, as a bonus, she's dang funny, too!
