I wish he was still at Kaiser Permanente, but I was shocked that left Kaiser and started working for a different hospital in Marin County. I never knew he went back working for Kaiser Permanente, but in San Rafael, CA. If I ever knew he came back, then I would not mind driving up from San Francisco to San Rafael to see him, regardless of how ill I could have been when nobody can take me to the hospital. I realize the cost of living in the Bay Area is outrageous, but having Dr. Pataki around has always been my best experience for serious care, and that is why I continued to stay with Kaiser Permanente even if he had to refer me to a different doctor after he left.
