I have been going to an Aveda salon for over 9 years and since I just moved to Clovis I went to Elle. I even brought my formula from the previous salon so my highlights and base would be the same. I hate to leave negative reviews. The girl who helped me was a delight, very kind and friendly but the highlights were imperceptible and I left with the same length root line showing, slightly lighter due to the color lifting shampoo. Very disappointing. At home my family even asked if I did not do the highlights ... there was no difference, Just wasted time and money. read more

I see Molly for my haircut and color. Love love love her! She give a great massage when shampooing and conditioning my hair. She does an amazing job with the cut. (So far had 3 different visits at the salon.) At the end of my last 2 cuts she did debulking around my face which made my hair look so much better and frame my face really nicely. read more

Hands down, just come here for your hair. I'll be coming here forever now, and recommending it to everyone. I never would have imagined that such a great place existed in the Fresno/Clovis area. The outside is cute, the inside is gorgeous. It doesn't smell like hairspray and nail polish, it's like a high end Lush. Everything smells organic and refreshing. It feels like you took it from San Francisco and dropped it in Old Town. Upon walking in(about 15 minutes early), my boyfriend and I were offered a drink. Shortly after, Stacey Grill came and brought me back to the seat (and brought an extra chair for my plus one). Everyone was so excited that I was chopping my hair off! Going from hair at my butt to a pixie is a big deal. She cut it, washed it, and then perfected it. Stacey is the nicest and most amazing hairstylist I've ever met... Despite my awkward personality, she talked to me and my boyfriend as if we were long term friends. I've never been happy with a haircut before, and this cut is perfect. I love everything about it. Thanks to Stacey, I feel so much more confident about myself, I feel like I can take on the world! Btw, when I called the day before and asked about pricing, the receptionist told me cuts start at 50$. After all the product and service used on my hair, I was worried it would come out to be over 100$... But it was only 60!! Great prices and great service. Will be back!! read more

I went for a color with Molly and I did do touch up with a partial highlights and I was supposed to go every two weeks but then with in a wash Which was after a weekThe partial highlights went back to my original color and the color and root touchup faded off I tried calling them multiple times to get in earlier so they can fix my hair since I couldn't go like this to work but they kept saying it's holiday season and they can't accommodate me I hate writing negative reviews on Yelp and I gave them multiple options to fix this but they didn't I see multiple good reviews and that's why I made my appointments there maybe they are biased towards me?Because I don't see other any other reason that they wouldn't take care of it BEWARE of Christy at Front desk as she is rude dishonest and unprofessional- And may be not the right place for People of color since looking at previous reviews and with my experience It stands out that way !!!! read more

I sincerely believe this is the worst salon in Fresno/ CLovis area. I had a odd experience. I have never used box dye on my hair as it's naturally dark brown with a few grays. I came in for a balayage with grey corrections and paid over 400 dollars in hair treatment and some products. I came home and I didn't notice a change and I called them back to fix it but she kept saying I use box dye when I haven't ever used it and that's my fault. But while I was there and during my consultation they said what I wanted was easily doable. My grays were still all there with min color difference in hair. It was an odd experience because as I called a day later to see if they could fix their mess I kept feeling attacked on the phone with "I use box dye" or "we never discussed grey treatment " or "it's a process cause my hair is dark brown " but during my visit there on the day of she gave me false promises and failed to correct my grays. I really only agreed to this shitty place because when I called they seemed super nice. It's all an act you guys. I think if u agree to do a project it should be close to the picture or be honest and say they can't do it. I went Back and they didn't really fix much. They were so cheap they did let me go home with wet hair as they agreed to try and fix at least my grays. However she said she couldn't dye it black but used something to hide grays for a month but would come back. Spend ur money at a place with more class and somewhere that is professional. If I behaved like this at my job I would be fired right away. Tell me when is it ever polite to accuse someone of anything and deliver false promises. That is just bad behavior for a business. Don't get lost in there initial politeness. It's all an act. read more
