I will still come to Creative Nails when absolutely necessary, but unfortunately, my recent experiences have reinforced why I stopped going regularly. One of my biggest concerns is the quality of work being performed, particularly with services such as Gel-X and builder gel. I had builder gel applied to my nails here, and within 24 hours, two nails had completely broken and majority of all the nails were lifting. I went back to the salon because I thought there had clearly been an issue with the application, especially considering it had been less than a day. Instead of offering to fix the nails, I was told that I simply had "bad nails" and that there was nothing they could do because the previous nail technician had damaged them. The problem with that explanation is that the nails they were referring to were the same nails that their salon had just worked on. If anything, that response only confirmed to me that the original service had not been done correctly. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have experienced issues here. Now, less than a week later, I am already having to get another full set and a pedicure elsewhere because my nails are lifting again, and there are visible bubbles underneath my French tip. I understand that nail services do not always go perfectly, but when problems occur within 24 hours, I believe the salon should stand behind its work and make an effort to correct the issue. Blaming the customer's nails--especially after the salon itself had just worked on them--is not acceptable customer service. I honestly find the 4.8-star rating extremely surprising given my experiences and the reputation I have personally seen surrounding this salon. I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt because I had been a customer for years, but the consistency of these issues has made it very difficult to recommend Creative Nails.
