I loved the color I picked out but I repeatedly said something about the size and fitting of the tips she was using and that it wasn't fully flat on my nail but disregarded it. I also mentioned how thick some sides of my nails were and once again disregarded it. If they are going to raise prices I hope they make sure quality becomes better as well and listen when a customer has a concern. It's not too big of a deal but it was still a nuisance due to unleveled and bumpy edges of my nails. She also did not clean the excess nail polish that was on my skin . Was not much of a fan this visit.
This nail salon is amazing. All of the staff was friendly and accommodating! Louie did a wonderful job on my nails and I am amazed at the precision and artistry. Thank you all! I highly recommend trying them out.
I came in because I had a really rough week and wanted to treat myself to something relaxing. Unfortunately my visit here just ended up being an extension of that rough week. 1) the man that painted my toes missed a lot of nail and painted a lot of skin. The polish job was clumpy and he didn't bother to adequately touch up any of the paint surrounding the nail. The massage was really weak and short (despite the fact I was charged extra for it- ?). My toenails look like they were painted by a kid instead of by a professional that I paid. 2) my finger nails came out nicely, but unfortunately instead of using a brush with polish remover, the person just used their finger nail to get rid of the nail polish on the skin of my fingertips... so now I have blue fingertips.. 3) while my polish was drying, the water basin for the person next to me getting a pedicure started to overfill.. instead of draining it or disposing of the water politely, the nail tech took a bowl and scooped the dirty water from her basin and then reached under my legs to dispose of the water in my basin... look I get that I was done and just waiting for my polish to dry but I was still sitting there in the chair and I think it that it was just a really rude move. 4) they weren't upfront about extra charges. They were playing a movie on tv that was not in English nor did it have any subtitles (is the tv for the workers or for the customers?...). The point of sale stand was cluttered with a bunch of stuff (including an old Burger King bag and peanuts shells) instead of being a place to pay. Awful vibes. I left with more anxiety than I came in with. I was really hoping for a pleasant experience but it was really.. just not good. Leaving two stars instead of one because the woman that painted my nails did an ok job. That being said, I probably won't be back P.S sorry for the weird feet pics.
They were Great!! I really enjoyed my pedicure and I was relaxed the Whole Time!!! I don't understand why they are getting such bad reviews. I enjoyed my time in the salon!!!
This place has received recognition awards by Yelp. We just dropped in and got our nails done today. Thanks paid $25 dollars for a manicure and my daughter had her acrylic nails removed for $10. The nail technician took her time removing nail polish, treating my hands and applying the new color I wanted. No rush, very attentive to detail. My daughter had her nails damaged from the place that she went to for the acrylics, so the technician took the time to check her nails, treat them and give my daughter advice on how to help them heal. The environment was very relaxed and there was soothing music playing in the background. Prices are reasonable and I will definitely be back. I know my daughter wants to take a friend there who also suffered nail damage when she got acrylics at another place. Come check it out!
This gentleman is so kind, helpful, and does great work. This salon is very clean my girlfriend and I were helped right. I would definitely come back here it was very peaceful and quiet. They also have massage chairs that do pretty good work on your back if you're into that.
This place is amazing!!! I use to come when she first opened but moved away and recently moved back and am excited on how much it's grown! I've been there 3 times so far this year but plan on coming back a lot more! Ella and her team are amazing! They're all friendly and all smiles! The young guy has been doing my nails & did my pedicure today & it was the best pedicure I have ever received!! They also spend time massaging your feet or hands and don't rush through that part! The gels also stay longer than at other places and they have really good quality stuff!!!
I went with my cousin today and received great service, I'm not from the area so I was a little iffy on where I should go because I'm used to my usual spot close to home, but let me tell ya, I was pleasantly surprised. It is a small, cute salon with very friendly staff and reasonable prices. Most importantly, I LOVE how my nails turned out! When I visit Santa Maria again, I'll be sure to get my nails done here again.

My mom only goes to Ella for her nail needs. With that said I knew Ella would deliver great service. My mom and I had a nail day before my wedding. I decided last min to have acrylic nails. Ella accommodated me and my needs without a problem. She took care of my mom and produced a beautiful set of acrylic nails that looked like her natural nails (yes that was the look she was going for) I decided I wanted ballerina/coffin acrylics in a pink color with a sparkly pink ring finger nail. Ella really listen to what I wanted. We started with pretty long nails and I decided to have them shortened 2x. She understood the importance of my nails looking the best for my wedding and I was satisfied with how they came out. Of course I would come back and get my nails done by Ella. Fyi- she accepts walk ins and appointments. In not sure if she accepts cc, but she accepts cash/checks
The normal ladies weren't available due to a family emergency. I was disappointed with the manicure itself as it was polished unevenly and the nails weren't shaped to the same length. The gentleman who helped me was extremely nice and kept great conversation the entire time. He did offer to redo my nails when I said I was unhappy which I think is excellent customer service. This place was extremely popular as he had to turn away business because he was over booked. The pedicure chairs also looked very comfy. I would go here again but I would definitely speak up if you notice that your nails aren't being painted evenly.

Nice people and decent prices. I had a broken toe nail that was fixed nicely. Unfortunately, on day 4- dip nails were cracked, broken, completely falling apart. Toe nail polish is also chipping already :( I won't be returning for my nails. read more

I've been coming to Ella's for almost two years now and I've never had a problem. They are always accommodating to me and my friends. There's four-five of that go at a time and they get us all done with in a reasonable time. We all love our nails after we are done. This time me and my friend decided to do a pedicure and we were not let down. This last time I noticed one of my nails was a little bit uneven but Ella fixed it with no problem at all. One last thing for a gel manicure it's only $25 which a great price! read more

I went to Ella's salon for the first time today with my friend Jess. We headed out pretty late, so most places gave us an attitude about wanting a full set and a pedicure, and one salon that I'd been trying to call since 3 pm to make an appointment straight up told me that they don't check their phones. So I called Ella's hoping to the nail gods that they'd take us in for our much needed mani pedis and they were so friendly and so happy to take us! We arrived at the salon and were greeted by the friendly nail artists who wasted no time getting us all set up. We made lovely conversation and they were so gentle and actually cared about what they were doing. Most salons ignore you and just talk to each other, this salon was different and made you feel right at home. We talked about our kids, places in town to eat, I even helped them set up their waiting list for the newly opened Cracker Barrel. I felt nothing but peace and good vibes! I will DEFINITELY be returning. I got the $20 pedicure which was AMAZING and so needed, and the dip powder manicure with gel tips and top coat. They both look so so good and I am so happy with the results! Don't waste your time on other salons who are either too rough, don't do a good job or don't bother with basic friendliness. I will definitely be back to Ella's salon, where they care about you, care about the job that they do, care for their business and are so so kind and friendly. read more
