Small business nothing fancy but great customer service was amazing! Came in on a Saturday with pedicure appointments for three they initially thought we booked for two. Initially they were quiet and we thought they were not friendly but boy was I wrong. It's run by Jessica and her husband they are both so sweet, talkative and did an amazing job! Prices are average, but you do get more elsewhere services are very basic. They do not offer gel x my sister did get a full set but unfortunately it was pretty crooked and bumpy.

I found this place based on Yelp reviews. Mike and Jessica and the best. I have a fabulous Nail Technician and I hold everyone to her standard of service. Mike and Jessica did not disappoint. My gel mermaid nails lasted a full 3 weeks with no shrinkage, cracking or chipping. I waited almost 20 days before having my nails done by my regular technician so I could see how long they lasted (during Covid they would last up to 6 weeks). Definitely my go to place if I can't get to Arizona for my regular technician. They are a small family owned business. You will need to make an appointment but Mike and Jessica work hard to accommodate everyone. You will not be disappointed

Well this was my first time in. This is a highly recommended Yelp business and it's not hard to see why. I went in and was wonderfully greeted. A lady who was having a French manicure done said "Oh ,I've been coming here for years they are great!" So I knew I was in good hands! I got a pedi standard. It was only 35 bucks!! What a total deal. My tech did such a great job and really paid attention to the details. I felt as though they where not rushing through. I cannot recommend this place enough!! I will be returning again and again! read more

I've been twice now for a pedicure. 100% will continue to go. This isn't a fancy spot, but it's clean, sanitized and very affordable. The couple who are running/own the business are lovely, and have a real attention to detail. My toes have never looked better. Call ahead and check them out. read more

This place would get 10 stars if I could! I rarely write reviews. I had a bad manicure/full set at another nail salon (NOT THIS ONE) and I hated them. They were way too long, the people told me I couldn't go shorter so I just went with it to try it out. This is also about the 3rd time I've ever had a true full set... It's just not for me. Long story short, my sister told me to go to this nail salon. I made an appointment on a busy Friday which they were able to fit me in. I wanted to get in earlier but they were pretty booked. They gave me a call shortly after I made an appointment and said they could take me right away! That was really great service to make the effort to call me and get me in earlier. They took off my full set, PAIN FREE, I got a gel manicure and I'm in love with it. It's so nice to be able to use my fingers again with my short nails. The manicure was so well done, quick, un-rushed and just great. They have amazing service and a clean salon. I will for sure be returning only to this place. Thanks again for such an amazing experience compared to a horrible experience at a different salon I went to previously. Great experience. New to Santa Maria, tried 2 other nail salons before Polished. I have found my new nail shop. I have dry cuticles, even with using Vaseline and moisture. They were very detailed and took their time to properly and thoroughly trim the cuticles. Also, careful attention to the finish look 9f the polish. Yay! read more

Love hate with this one. I went in a few weeks ago and it really is dirty, unfortunate because they did such a great job. Nail files and buffers are NEVER suppose to be re-used, and they do. Also, never saw hand washing in between clients or tool sanitation between uses either. They did use hand soap to rinse off the pedicure bins but no sanitizer .I wish they would sweep, mop, general surface wipe down and tidy up or at least keep the fridge and mess behind a partition or something. I really want to like this place and go back but it the lack of required sanitation procedures are too many. Both such sweethearts and hard working people, best of luck for sure. read more

Called to see if I would walk in for a wax. Employee said no but asked if I could come in, in an hour. Stated I could come in an hour and a half but she insisted 1 hr was great. So made a reservation at 2:30 p.m. showed up at 2:25 p.m.. I was acknowledged and asked to wait. I waited for 15 minutes and then worker tells me 5 more minutes. Waited until 2:55 p.m. and then left. I get a phone call from the worker asking" you left already?" I said yes I had been waiting for 25 minutes with an appointment at 2:30. Unfortunately, I didn't even get to see how good their services were. Place appears to be clean and obviously not enough workers. read more

I believe it's the wife and husband, they are super nice and accommodating to any changes you want in your service. For example, I'm picky and if I feel like a few nails need more filing I will tell them and they happily do it! A lot of other salons seem to get annoyed or don't do it right. But they definitely do everything they can to make your service good :) read more

Ugh. I don't even know what to say. Maybe it's because I'm not a local and am from Orange County so I might have a slightly snobby boojie preferences, but I paid about $75 for a spa mani-pedi. I was visiting the in-laws for the weekend and since the hubby was watching sports and my MIL said she'd watch my 3 year old monster while I went out for some me-time, I decided this place might be okay to check out since I was close to the area and wanted to make a stop by Michaels which is in the same lot. I called ahead to make an appointment and left my name with them for my appointment which they fit me in right away. I arrived on time for my appointment and still had to wait another 1/2 hour because a girl had walked steps before me and they took her in. I find out within 10 minutes after her pedicure begins that she said she was me (reservations at the restaurant scene from Date Night, anyone?). Totally weird because my name is SUPER Asian and she wasn't. At all. Not racist. Just making a point. The salon was being run by just the husband and wife so I waited still. I finally got my manicure started and it was terrible. The little lady took my to the desk and started her thing, but would push my hand awkwardly, but forcefully towards the desk fan. She could have just asked and I could have done it myself. The pedicure was long. Not in a good way. I felt like half the time I spent there was waiting while the lady went to the back to search for the things she needed. Maybe it was my fault since I asked for the paraffin dip? And then in the middle of the pedicure, another lady and her husband and kids walk in and start talking to the owners and the lady who just walked in puts down her soft drink cup on the counter and wipes her hands and sits down on the stool in front of me and finishes my pedicure while the previous little lady stands by. SO awkward. I couldn't wait to be done with this experience. I'm sticking to my boojie Orange County taste and waiting to get back home for my pedicures. read more

Love this place! Hands down the cleanest nail salon I've been to in Santa Maria. The couple is so thorough. During my first visit I got my underarms waxed, manicure and pedicure. My manicure lasted a week before it started chipping. It was regular nail polish and I bang my hands around a lot. They used warmed towels and hot stones, sterilized equipment, and send you home with the nail file and buffing cube used on you. read more

I walked in to the room and saw dirty bowls/brushes in the sink and facial equipment just lying out. I made me felt very uncomfortable because I was planning to get a dermaplaning service and it felt very unsterile. Because she was an hour late and I felt unsafe, I decide to reschedule and have a refund. She has still not given me my money/refund back via Venmo even though I was not provided with the service.

All the girls at my work come here and recommended it to me, one of them is really picky so I figured if she is happy then it must be good salon so I came here with my bridal party. I can honestly say that I have never been to a better nail salon. Everyone is just so nice, they speak english so I got exactly what I wanted, and its the cleanest salon I have ever been to. It was definitely a fun, relaxing experience with my girlfriends and mom..i'm glad this salon has pretty decor so the photos we took were nice (some of the nail salons in town are decorated so cheesy with fake hands all over the place). I got a Shellac nails and pedicure and it has lasted 4 weeks! But I was on vacation most of this time and washed dishes with gloves.. I finally had the chance to go back and try the gel manicure and man, let me tell you, it's amazing stuff! The color lasted two weeks and didn't even chip! My nails break when they reach and certain length but I felt like the gel kept my nails strong. Also, this confused me, sometimes people say gel and sometimes they say shellac so I asked the girl who did my gel what the difference was. She said that they are the same thing, just that shellac is a brand and were the first to make the stuff. Apparently it's more expensive and not many nail salons in the area carry the brand but they do! Anyways, completely in love with this place and always look forward to going here! read more

The best in town! This shop is so clean, simple, and pretty. Everything is brand new and the spa chairs are to die for. The massaging chairs feel like real human hands (I love the "kneading" setting!) Great for a relaxing spa day with friends or alone. The staff is very friendly and did an awesome job on my wax and spa pedicure. Will definitely return again for the spectacular service! It has a relaxing atmosphere so I like to get my spa pedicure and shellac manicure here because of the outstanding service and affordable price. My pedicure lasted a month! I have yet to go to another nail place that has as wide selection of shellac nail polish colors to choose from. Seems like a really clean place because I saw them sanitize the pedicure tub very well after it was used, the towels are so white, and its cool that I get to keep the file and buffer afterwards because they don't reuse them. read more
