This is definitely my new go-to spot!! Nail lounge canceled my appointment last minute (probably double booked) and I could not find a shop that I trust to do my nails. I called Q Nails just in case, and they told me that they could fill me in. Once I walked in, I was SHOCKED. My friends and I had wondered where Alan and Helen went, and it turns out they work here! The shop is small but cozy. I really recommend you booking an appointment beforehand, but they do take walk-in's! They did an amazing job for my gel builder and pedicure. I literally had been looking for Alan this whole time for my pedi and I was kinda glad that Nail Lounge canceled me!! Worst experience! When I got there I asked if they were able to do acrylic toe nails they said yes.. well for my surprise they couldn't and I told them that's what I had asked in the front in the ticket when I checked in. Then the girl working on my nails didn't know how to do it so then she proceded to just do French tip which is horrendous all my French tip is uneven some are thick and some are thin!!! Also they started talking in there language as soon as I said that I was not happy with the outcome I paid and left! $80 for uneven nails.. never going back! read more

The past few times I've been getting my nails done I've always gone to this place. But I think it's time to find another. My last experience, the guy kept turning down what I was asking and I promise it didn't look hard. He just said it's too "new" (it's called jelly) basically just coloring the center and just kinda ombré a bit then when I said I'll just get what I got last time the cat eye tip, he insist I should get the full nail cat eye I really wish they could just work with what I was requesting. They need to upgrade their style as well. When I want a design they just use stickers anyways it's a nice place to just get simple gel nails or like basic color. But if you're looking for something more, find another place this isn't it. read more

This was my favorite salon and I had been a regular customer until March, 2024. I went in for a regular manicure on my nails. Within 3 days my thumb nail was discolored and lifting. I went to Urgent Care immediately and was told it was a nail fungus. I was given a prescription and told to follow up with my dermatologist. I followed up and he confirmed the diagnosis and told me to continue on my treatment . It is now August 2024 and my nail is still not completely healed. The dermatologist confirmed that when cuticles are cut it allows bacteria and fungi to enter under your nail. I'm sharing my experience so that what happened to me doesn't happen to another customer. read more

I got a set of dip powder nails and a full service gel pedicure. Total price was 137 dollars. 157 plus tip. The man in charge told me there were no appointments availible at the time I requested so I rearranged my schedule to come earlier. He said they closed earlier that day so there was no other way. I arrived and they got me in right away. I had a full set of acrylics which they ripped off instead of soaking. That should have been a red flag. The provided their service and while at it a woman called and asked for an appointment at this point it was 6 pm the time I originally requested. The man said no problem and gave the woman the appointment. After my service was finishing I pulled out my wallet and moved to get my shoes on. The man rushed over and asked if I was going to pay rudely. Obviously I had my wallet and card out.... A week later my gel pedicure has peeled off due to gel being on the skin and the dip powder manicure has chipped despite all necessary precautions. When attempting to resolve the issue with them directly they refused to offer any solutions and hung up on me twice. What a disappointment! I have come before and never had an issue. Unfortunately this behavior is unacceptable and I will bit be returning. I suggest you don't either. read more

There has been at least 4 times lately that I have called way ahead of time to make an appt with Helen. She does a fantastic job! Today I had a 9 appt that I made 2 weeks ago so I could have a new set of nails and a pedi with Helen. I arrived and wasn't really told anything but to sit down finally after 10 min I asked where Helen was and I was told she was on vacation. Now 2 weeks ago they knew darn well that she was not going to be there. The owner is who made the appt and just gave me a poor excuse for not telling me up front. I will not go back unless I speak to Helen personally. This is a poor way to run your business. read more

I went in for a dip manicure and was helped right away, the staff was very friendly. She did three coats of just color. Initially I was happy with the service, after a few days the dip had lifted on more than one finger, and chipped on a couple. I went back in to get them fixed, again they were very friendly and fixed them no problem. The gentleman that fixed those that had lifted, sanded them down and used clear to reinforce them. This left them a little bulky compared to the others that hadn't lifted or chipped. I'm not sure if the initial set was too far gone to be able to repair, or what happened. I have been here many times over the last few years. The last time I went was for my daughter's birthday, we both got mani pedis. A week after I noticed my big toe nail started to detach from the nail bed. I took off the gel polish and noticed black dots under several nails. I was about ready to give up on the nail salons in town; between the bizarre interior design choices and dingy cleanliness of everywhere I've gone, things were looking grim. Q-Nails opened up recently, and I finally set aside the time to give it a try. FINALLY, somewhere clean, fresh and welcoming! All of the manicurists were friendly, and I was relieved to have a quality manicure/pedicure that had both attention to detail and a quick finish time. My view (photo attached) was an amusing mix of live concert footage from a BeeGees show, and then a YouTube playlist of (very debatably) the BEST love songs of all time. One sweet woman getting her acrylics done asked the manager if she couple purchase "the DVD of beautiful songs playing!", and while she was out of luck, it was at least much better than the strange Muzak that usually plays in these places. A few things I enjoyed. 1) Great massage chairs 2) Lots of staff ready to assist and when they were to busy the asked people to return at a later time so the waiting area wasn't over crowded. 3) The color selection was great! 4) The offered snacks to the kids who were getting pedicures. I was recommended Q-nails by a friend. She has had her nail done by Tiffany several times and they were always absolutely beautiful, Thin and shaped like a natural nail. I called to make an appointment with Tiffany. I told the guy on the phone I wanted Tiffany to do my nails he said yah yah!
