I've been to Ella Nails about a year ago for a pedi and had a great experience. My typically pedi place was closed today so I decided to try Ella again. This experience was much different. The check in process was strange and I was told to wait (had an appointment). This guy was sitting there the whole time and after 15 mins he took me back. The whole entire pedi was strange. He did not say one word and would tap or grab my foot to move it. The supplies did not look sanitary and the clippers were in an older box. Additionally, this poor girl walked in the same time as me for her lashes and was finally taken back when I was done. She had an appointment and the one lady said she was running behind. When I paid the total was $40 before tip. For a basic pedi that wasn't done very well, I thought that was a lot. I get lots of pedi and this had to be the absolute worst one. Giving a 2 because I had a good experience in the past. Also my nails were barely filed and so not look good. read more

I walked in with my two girls (6&8) and they took us Right in even tho they were pretty booked. Everyone was very polite and courteous, my nails look beautiful (solar), I hope they last a while. They were also very sweet and patient with my girls! The only reason why not 5 stars because I don't know how long my nails will last (I was promised they wouldn't chip) and I did feel a bit awkward at times, because they were almost a little too non-chalant. read more

While visiting in the area, I called Ella to request a pedicure service. They were able to accommodate me and I had a 5 star experience. I was completely relaxed and had an excellent pedicure. The nail technician was very friendly and professional. I will come back again and I would definitely recommend this business! read more

I was in the area visiting family. My granddaughter and I came here to get our nails done. I had the dip powder and my granddaughter had the gel polish done. I felt that $60.00 for dip was VERY high considering the area. A couple of my nails are bumpy and the top coat is starting to peel which isn't supposed to happen. I didn't realize that they looked/felt the way they do or I would have spoken up. I will just have to put up with it until I get my nails done in my own area. I also feel that the guy that does this should not be horsing around and making errors like this. Even if I did live in the area, I would not return. I would add photos except nobody would be able to see what is wrong. read more

I got acrylics a while back for my confirmation and they turned out exactly how I hoped. Everyone there was super friendly and employees were helpful. I didn't have to wait long to be waited on. Favorite salon i've been to so far. read more

I've been a loyal client to Jenny for lash extensions for over a year now. ( an expensive service plus tip) I live 35 minutes away and did not mind the drive there because I was very pleased with my lashes. However the past few months have been extremely frustrating and quite unprofessional. I've been scheduled for appointments, show up on time, only to be told to come back in an hour because she's running behind. Once she put me with another employee Today I showed up for an appointment that was scheduled by Jenny and she forgot to put me in the appointment book. Not only did I waste almost an hour driving there and back, I also scheduled my other appointments so I could accommodate the time I was told to come. There was no explanation or apology. Just come back Monday. Well I can assure you that I will not be going back ever. Nor will I recommend Ella nails for lash extensions. read more

I had taken my daughter who loves to have her nails painted and each time we went, we paid 5.00 as she is 5. Today, I went in and I should have asked "how much" but did not and upon checkout was charged 14.00 for my child's nails to be painted. I was a bit surprised so I said wow, I've always paid 5.00 and she smirked and shrugged her shoulders. The highlight, her one finger already has a chip after only 1 hour later!! Lesson learned and the good news, this place is not the only game in town and that said I will never return and will not recommend them. Lesson for me, always ask how much!! read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. I've never gotten my nails done prior to this and this was the worst nail experience I could ever imagine having. I called to confirm what I wanted, they said my appt was at 2:15 and they made me wait until 3:30 to even take me to start my nails. They then claimed they didn't do designs which is completely untrue so I settled with plain color. They got the color all in my cuticle and skin and the shapes were different on all of my nails. They rushed me because others came in, the dip was too thick in the middle tip of my nail, and the color was applied 4 times on each nail. I removed the color, reshaped, and repainted myself when I got home. read more

I have been here several times and I was a regular for a while. I have had some good and some bad experiences here. Most times it has been good, but 2 times it was not. I was scammed and given something more than I asked for. I only wanted gel, but they have me solar acrylics, which were $60. The other time I had an appointment a week in advance and I still waited 2.5 hours. Yes, 2.5 HOURS. Would not say it is bad, but it is not exceptional either. read more

I picked this place to go get my nails done because it is close to my job and it will be on the way back to my house. When I wanted to get my nails done for my co workers party that weekend, every other nail shop I called said they were busy but this nail shop. The nail tech that did my nails was AMAZING! I was in for a pedicure last weekend. I was a first time, walk in client. The salon seems slightly informal, but good ! The woman taking care of my pedi did a very clean job polishing, but not much of a massage scrub. I loved the color selection here of regular polish! you can tell it is a more youthful salon than others in the area. The woman doing my pedi watched the news most of the time while taking care of me, from the large TV hanging in the pedi area. Not a fan, but they had the spray enamel that they put on my toes after so as soon as I was ready to go, it would not smudge! First time here, went because my nail salon closed. Worst nail fill I have ever had. Tom was the nail tech. I had mentioned I paid 40 at my last place, he said they did it for the same price. I was so mad when he was finished because they looked so bad. I waited an hour and called back and said I couldn't look at my hands for two weeks like this. They told me to come back, Tom offered to fix them. In the meantime I saw the prices on the back of the register and asked why he charged me 40 if the sign said 37 and he said to cut them down. I said that's ridiculous. He "fixed" them but they still looked like crap. It was Christmas weekend so I couldn't wait to have them done a third time in 6 hours so I left. I will not return here. I scheduled a 10:00 appointment for a pedicure thinking that I would be first and not have to wait. I waited 25 minutes for someone to come in and wait on me. The guy who did my pedicure was friendly enough, but he cut my toe and I was still bleeding when I left the shop. It feels like I have an ingrown toenail. Two other toes are still sore because he cut the nails so short. Also, the polish job just isn't that great. I will find another shop! read more

Shame on me for returning to this salon to think that I would actually get good service or service at all. Making an appointment is pointless. They overbook their clients and do not call to ask you to come later. You will sit there for upwards of an hour waiting for service. I've driven 30 minutes to get there only to be told that I could not be waited on and asked to come back later. This was the third time that it happened. The third time was a charm because I will never recommend this salon nor will I give them a cent of my hard earned money. I took my daughter here today to have her nails done for her 6th birthday. It was her second time here and they did a fantastic job as they did the first time she was here as well. Unfortunately, within a few minutes of getting home from the appointment my daughter feel and ended up scraping the polish off of her toenail when she did. She was devastated and with it being her birthday I decided to take her back to see if they could fix. I was so impressed with how great they were about it as they immediately took her back and took care of it. I was also impressed with how they seemed to know and genuinely care for their customers. They know their customers by name and even knew upcoming appointments that relatives of their customers have. Admittedly, I am a sucker for anyone who is kind to my daughter but I was really impressed by their overall customer service!!! Great, caring team here!!! read more

I've only been here once, but I got the best full set of acrylics that I've ever had. Perfect shape, have lasted forEVER. I have zero complaints and after getting fills closer to home for a while, I extra appreciate how much better the skill level was at Ella and I won't be going anywhere else again. read more
