I've been looking for somewhere to get my nails done since I moved to Lodi. I came in on my lunch break to see if they had time for a fill, they didn't but offered to make me an appointment which I appreciated. I showed up to my appointment and told them I had an appointment, to which not only the employees but the other customers looked annoyed at me. I waited 20 minutes past my appointment which didn't bother me because I know things run late, if they didn't have time they should have just told me that. The whole process seemed very rushed. This place is nothing special. I came here for the first time today. I had an appointment and sat there for 30 minutes until someone helped me. I told the gal what I wanted (french acrylics), but she continued to do dip powder. I said, no I want acrylics and pointed to the gal next to me getting her nails done. The gal who did my nails said, "it's the same-it will turn out the same." It didn't. My nails are splotchy and you can see air bubbles underneath the pink part. The dip is chunky and the white part is uneven. I asked for it to be fixed and the gal just put pink gel on top to try to blend it. I have nail glue all over my hands. She was very gentle at the beginning but as soon as mentioned again for a third time what I wanted she starting getting rough with hands. She told me, "oh you can get acrylics next time." This is bad customer service to not do what the client asks. The gal also didn't even soak my nails, clean/trim my cuticles, or massage my hands like what I have received at other salons. read more

They both are amazing. I had Katie today and I'm so glad I was referred by a friend. The nails came out better than what I hoped for. She takes her time and is very attentive to details. Great service, affordable pricing-- but above all, Katie is a wonderful person! Very easy to chat with. Not sure how any other salons can beat their service. I brought my mom here in Feb for her birthday. We had the chocolate pedicures with gel polish, she had a full manicure, while I had acrylics put on, all with gel polish. The service gets 5 stars! They pampered us so well, did not rush the pedicures or manicures, did wonderful massages, the place was so clean and the people were very nice. Plus they had a wide selection of gel polish, acrylic colors, and normal polish. They also had a large menu to choose from of different services. Where they loose points is how well my gel has held up. It has been 4 weeks since we had our spa day, and within 2 weeks my polish chipped on my thumb. Then at 3 weeks the tip of my ring finger nail broke. A couple of days after the broken nail, my pointer finger nail chipped and pulled off half of the polish. My previous experience with gel polish has been awesome. I would have to cut my nails back because of the grow out, not from chipped polish or broken nails. So, I took 1 star away because of that, but despite my polish chipping, I will return. Maybe I'll just ask for an extra top coat. read more

I went here a few months ago for a manicure but wanted to make sure I gave it another try before writing a review, so yesterday I took my boyfriend here for a pedicure. I also made sure to pay attention to other people's experiences both times. Here is the short version: Staff - Staff is nice enough but they are very big on "upselling" which I find to be an annoyance. When I got my nails done, they kept telling me I should get an additional product put on or that I should get little decals. I didn't mind as much the first time because I figure it's their job and they know what they are talking about, but this time, with the pedicures, even though I was already purchasing a more expensive than usual pedicure for the both of us (Lavender, which is $30 each as opposed to the basic $23 pedi) the staff told us twice that we needed to get a more expensive one (Chocolate which is $40 a piece and "way better" according to them). They also kept trying to get me to do a manicure as well. Decor/Ambiance - The decor is very basic and not that nice. Yellow walls with a few straw wreaths that you might get at the 99 cent store. It appears clean enough however so that's fine with me. They do also offer you a beverage which is nice. Price - This salon has a huge list of offerings and the basic ones are comparable in price to other nail salons in the area. They also have much higher priced treatments you can get if you desire. Wait - I have had to wait both times I have come here but not usually more than 5-10 minutes. I did not like that they started the water for our pedis and then had one girl start on my boyfriend once we were seated, while I waited almost 20 minutes for someone to finish their nails before she started on me. They could have advised before we sat down that they did not have enough staff. We would have waited to avoid me sitting in tepid water and getting wrinkly feet. Also, the girl grabbed the color sitting closest to her and only after 3 nails realized it was not the color I had chosen. Anyone can make mistakes, but overall this place is just "meh" - nothing special - but it will do in a pinch. read more

Attentive staff. Clean shop/ stations. Decent selection of gel polish. Mani/Pedi priced appropriately. Was attended to simultaneously. .though I appreciated the one stop service by 2 staff members, my mani was on one side of pedi chair and I was unable to get up and wash/scrub my nails after the fills were done and before polish was applied. It was awkward having to lean/turn to get my far hand to manicurist's hands to work it. Took away from my pedi enjoyment and was distracting. I was unable to maximize my chair massage as a result. Nail polish application was well done..when tipping, I had to account for 2 staff members, not one, and when using my debit card, only had ability to identify 1 tip. My manicurest actually did a better job than my pedi, but I was overall satisfied with services rendered. The net/net is that I plan to return. I will not bundle my services next time and observe for consistency in services rendered for the price point I am willing to pay. read more

I went here last minute as I needed a mani/pedi before heading to Santa Barbara for the weekend. They had an opening & I got in right away. The place is nicely ventilated which is great because I am pregnant. They opened their supplies out of the packaging in front of you so you know it's clean! Lots of color options for Gel polish. This was my first time visiting Elizabeth salon on Lodi. I actually never heard of it, and just happen to be driving by. It is rare to find a salon open on Sundays so I stopped in. It was only about a 10 minute wait and I got the lavender pedi and a double fill. It was so nice! My feet are so soft and silky and my tech actually cut my nails nice and short, like I prefer them, without cutting my skin at all! She was able to put on beautiful red tips with pink filler and they look better than my usual salon, by far. I live in Modesto, but I'll be making my monthly salon visit to Lodi instead!!! Spent 50 dollars on a basic manicure with coffin shaped acrylics. My manicure wasn't worth 50. Not even 20. All the nails are different shapes almost, not identical at all. It just looks bad. Will definitely not be going back ever again. I also wasn't informed they were going to charge an extra amount for coffin nails. I was told because they take longer. I'm sorry but no, I've seen them done in the same amount of time as anyone else getting acrylics.. terrible service. And sloppily done. I've been coming here for years. I stopped going a while back due to issues with the PREVIOUS owner. I am beyond happy I gave this place and the friendly, welcoming, sweet new owner and staff another chance. They were so sweet and helping. They have completely changed this place around , decor, new furniture, new offerings as far as spa treatments and nail treatments . It's a very good feeling walking in until you walk out. I walked in and I was assisted by Mimi and my small daughter was assisted by the 2 guys but didn't catch their name. She was wearing a skort and they placed a towel long enough to cover her mid knee. Something small, but I took notice and appreciated this step. I purchased the chocolate lovers pedi WOW! Hot rocks, a scrub, a mask, another scrub, massage oil, hot towels, THE WORKS. This place upon entering seemed small but that truly helped my experience as it wasn't a "fast turnover style" salon shop. I felt like they all took their time I didn't feel rushed. I decided against a place with fancy white chairs because I specifically wanted a massage chair during my pedi. I requested a matte coat and they really went out of their way to find it. The guys made up for it not being available. So they took care of the customer! Absolutely would return!! A banner in the front said under new management so I'm glad my first time here went great! I don't know why a business wouldn't start your pedicure water, and allow you to soak your feet while you wait for your technician, but this business blows. customer service is SH*T. I had an appointment at 3pm and here it is 3:30 and instead of seating me to wait for my nail tech, they decided to take two walk-ins. So here I am sitting, waiting, because apparently, since I want Hannah, I can only sit in one designated pedicure chair. Bravo on the level of service. This is definitely my first experience here and last. Looking at the photos of their quality of work, I should have known better. However when you're pressed for time, sometimes you end up at places that just don't measure up. Save yourself some time and SKIP this nail salon. It's definitely NOT worth the headache. Crazy how they treat people, not knowing the impact it will have on business. But trust and believe this is only the first review of many on any platform I can expose them to my following. My first Yelp review gets 5 stars for Elizabeth Nails. Extraordinary! I was new to the area and had been to several nail salons that I would classify as "ordinary". One holiday weekend 2 years ago I wanted a quick manicure for a special event. Both salons on the corner were closed. I drove around but to no avail, they were all closed. Just as I had given up, I turned the corner and - voila. Elizabeth Nails. OPEN sign lit up. They were booked with established clientele, but they would fit me in and pointed me to FREE Keurig coffee and tea and a refrigerator filled with cold beverages and water. It was like discovering gold in the California Gold Rush. The only thing "ordinary" about Elizabeth Nails were the prices. This year my sister treated me to a mani/pedi there for my birthday, along with 2 friends. Having been informed that it was my birthday, the staff tied balloons to the pedicure chairs and treated us all like royalty. I can say that whether I have the really cute young man with 5 years experience, the awesome professional, Kim, who is fast and efficient with 17 years experience, the kind older woman, or the awesome princess, Katie herself, Elizabeth Nails never fails to exceed expectations. I am greatly disappointed. I really enjoy coming here however, they are always short staffed! The wait is always longer than they tell you. I wouldn't say this is a "drop in" salon. Although walk ins are welcome, I would definitely recommend calling in advance to make an appt to ensure a spot. Other than that, I love the quality of the services, the salon's cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff. If they had more staff available, I'd rate this salon with 5 stars. My friend and I called Saturday morning to see if we could come "right now" for 2 manis and pedis. They said yes! We were stoked because that was no notice for a lot of time to spend on us. We went in and it was our first visit here. Very impressed with the atmosphere, everything looked clean and new and it was peaceful. Staff was friendly. They have drinks available for customers (coffee, water, Capri-Sun, lol). We started on what would be just a standard pedicure but we happily accepted an upgrade to a lavender pedicure.. felt very nice, our tools were from sealed and sterilized package (autoclave? score!!) but lasted like an hour and a half - brochure says 45 mins. Once we got to our nails my friend and I both decided to get a gel top coat -- we had regular paint but they offered on their list of services a gel top coat for $5.. I usually get gels but I loved the OPI color I picked so we went with the topcoat. Sounded like a good idea. One of the staff warned me the topcoat doesn't last like regular gel but I went with it anyways.. We left the salon spending over $100 between the two of us. My friend was unimpressed with her paint job and said she could have done better herself. Mine looked great but literally less than 12 hours later my paint chipped off and now looks awful. I really wanted to give this place another chance but really? Less than 12 hours? Turns out gel doesn't bind to regular polish well because it can't dry the same. Go figure. Had to have them fixed two days later because they looked horrendous. read more

I enjoy coming to this nail salon for many reasons. They are very clean. They use new tools every time I receive a mani/pedi, and they use plastic liners in there massage chair pedicure tubs, on top of cleaning the tubs themselves. Their wax room is also very clean and inviting. I also like that the staff is very friendly and talented. They always do an excellent job on my nails. I have never left here once disappointed, and that is why I will continue to come here. I also like that they offer many different types of pedicures that you can receive with different prices. I just tried their chocolate pedicure was well worth the $40.00. If this is not in your budget they do offer other reasonably priced packages that you can choose from, and never have they once pressured me to try the more expensive packages. If you would like a more private experience, they also have a private room with two massage chair pedicure stations and flat screen TV all for just you and one other.
