This was the worst service I've ever had, the lady was watching her shows the whole time and the vibe was very uncomfortable. When I got here she was on the phone for 20 minutes and she repeatedly stopped doing my toe nails just to watch her show. I got here at 6 and did not have my toe nails finished till 8. My sister and I went to our appointment for pedicures yesterday (Sat. 7/9/21). Cindy waited on my sister and Peter waited on me. Cindy scrubbed my sister's feet so vigorously that at the end of the treatment both feet were literally raw, the heels being the worst. She has had to apply medication on her heels in order to wear shoes. A few of her nails were cut so short that the toes are tender. We were also both charged extra for having dry skin. A customer and a lady doing the pedicure we're talking really loud for literally an hour in what I believe is Cantonese. I could not read my book as it was so distracting. Cartoons were blasting on the TV. They hosed my feet off with a cold sprayer. Then left me sitting there while they started someone else. Worst pedicure experience ever. I will never go back or recommend. I am shocked anyone would give this anything but one star. Possibly they haven't had a relaxing professional pedicure. Entire room needs to be cleaned and bleached. Went here today and it was nice. The 5 stars are for the couple that work here. They are nice, personable and they get the job done. They work great together. They didn't have a lot to choose from. Most of the polishes weren't available. That was disappointing. They definitely aren't up on trends and I noticed a lot of older women go in there. The gentleman did an amazing job on the lady before us. He did a freehand heart and other design and it really was pretty. No chrome, most glitters weren't available and I didn't see any cat eye. Like I said if you're looking for really outrageous or trendy I wouldn't recommend but if you want good service by good people it's your place. I had never been to Cindy Nails until today and they now have themselves a customer for life. I've been ripped off by nail salons before and made to feel so uncomfortable at different places in Lodi. This place has been the best experience I've ever had at a nail salon hands down. They were so calm, nice, and quick! I love Peter and Cindy, they are such a sweet couple. Another yelper complained that they didn't talk to them but if you engage them in conversation they talk a lot and Peter is quite funny. Since they only charge $40 for a pedicure and gel manicure this is the place to go. The shop is small and a little old but it is clean and welcoming as well. This is not a fancy nail spa but fits my budget. I was shocked when I went to another popular Lodi nail salon on a sunday when Cindy Nails was closed and was charged $55 dollars for a pedicure, no thanks. They recently got new color sets of matching gel and regular polish so now you can always have a perfectly matching mani pedi. read more

The owners, Cindy and Peter are great having just taken over a few months ago. New massage chairs for the pedicure stations and a whole upgrade to the facility in general. I LOVE Cindy Nails. As Dee said before me, they had a family member take over and they are really nice. I miss Linda and David, but Peter is a perfectionist with nails, they always look amazing. They are both very polite, while still working in silence most of the time. They have been really good to me in the 4 years I've been getting my nails done there. They throw in small things for free once in awhile and are truly grateful to their customers. Their prices are the best in town and they do free paraffin wax with the spa pedicures! I recommend them to everyone and they have all had good experiences. About four or five months ago, David and Linda sold the business to another couple. Their names are Cindy and Peter. Both are really nice and they also do a great job! They have remodeled the place quite nicely and now they also play good music in the background (no TV). Water is given to you to quench your thirst (if you would like) after you walk in. They have also bought all new spa pedicure chairs! They are so relaxing to sit in for a long time since they are new and all the modes work great! Ask Cindy to smoothe the gel stuff around the heels of your feet (to take off all the hard skin). She will wrap your foot in a bag and wait a few then your heels will feel so smoothe afterwards (once she files them down a bit). It doesn't hurt. She knows what she is doing. I think Cindy gives the best foot massage and also arm/hand massage for a manicure. I'm happy that they are providing shellac manicures now. I took all my acrylic nails off and have been growing out my own nails with shellac manicures. My nails look more natural and the manicure lasts for almost a month! They charge less than other places for a shellac manicure too-less than $30!! Check out Cindy Nails, it's still a great place to relax and make your hands and feet more beautiful!! read more

I just needed a refill, so they ended up cuttings nails way too much, so I had to take them off! Btw I helped take my nails off I basically took them off myself! Anyways, took 2 hours to get a new set 2 hours!!!!!!!!! And I got cut twice, not very clean.. I don't know if the uv light I use was previously used by women who shoved her feet in there .. Gross!!!! I asked for just clear polish , and so he applied gel. (I never wanted gel) I got charged $30 for plain nails. Just simple plain nails!
