First off, I am probably one of the worst dental patients ever. Major anxiety plus a history of fainting, and the whole team handled me like pros! Noelle was my hygienist and she was so nice and patient with me. She explained everything to me calmly and was actually very gentle. She checked on me through out the cleaning and when she was finished, I was actually amazed that it was over and my teeth looked great! Dr Tucker and Senia took over and they were fantastic! I came in expecting to have 4 extractions and Dr Tucker told me I really only needed 2, and a bone graft to save my other 2 teeth. In full dramatic form, I had a full blown panic attack and passed out after the numming was administered, but Dr Tucker and staff were amazingly nice and patient. When I was finally ready for the hard part, they had me calm and even laughing at times. All of the dentists I've been to in the past have made the experience scary or have tried to scare me into getting procedures I didn't really think were necessary. I know I'm not an easy patient but Dr Tucker and team never once made me feel bad about it or guilty for my dramatic reactions! Thank you guys so much! You are definitely first class! read more

The run around you get when coming here is absolutely absurd. The first time I brought my nephew here the bill was already high, but when I called them to see what the exact charges were for, instead of trying to help me they referred me to the billing department who referred me back to the office, who referred me to the insurance company. Why can YOU not tell me what YOU charged me for? Is it not sitting in front of the computer you sit at or is it in Indian Jones tomb. Pros: the hygienist and assistants are professional and friendly. I know he's sneaky and always have good excuse or deceptive argument. But it's true that he's not qualified doing cosmetic and not responsible for me. He knows how to make the price a little bit cheaper than others in order to attract more client, but don't be fooled. If I'm not that angry I won't write a review. Here's the Cons: I abasolutely don't recommend that you do cosmetic procedure here. I came here only because they are about $300 cheaper, but I have been so regret of my decision since I paid the money and strated the procedure. 1. I want to push my front teeth back, which is my only need for the 6 month smile cosmetic procedure, and the dentist at first told me he can do it. Since then he forgot my request every time for my visit and never check the record in the computer. Every time I didn't know what he was doing. Even his assistant told me to remind him my request because she also thought he's not quite responsible for me and was doing the sa merging back and forth. But every time he left in a hurry that I even didn't have a chance to communicate with him. This is so different before I paid the money. And it's his responsibility to see the treatment record every time to see the progress, not my responsibility to remind him. In the end he wanted me to end the procedure because it took so long, so he started to talk to me, looked at the record( under me and the assiatnat's reminder), and did something. 2. He finally pushed my front teeth back a little bit, but also made the tooth next to it tilt. I told him but he told me it's my illusion. That's ridiculous because I felt the pressure on that tooth when he tried to push my teeth back. Obviously he didn't give pressure on the right place. He also opened big gaps between my teeth but failed to close it. My teeth is very active, and the teeth moved to the original place with big gaps once they took off my braces. This is because in the end he wanted to end the procedure quickly so he speeded up the whole process and didn't give the teeth enough time to be stable in the new place. 3. I'm not the only person to whom he failed to pushed back my teeth. I heard the assistant told him about this. Now I find out that he's just a general dentist, not orthodontist, and only need to attend a 2-day to be authorized to use the braces. I was so regret that I didn't know that before. I could finish it in less than 6 month instead of 9 month ( he wasted my time doing some random things back and forth for several month). Now I have my gap not closed, my front teeth still in the original place. I waste more than $2000 there. Now I have to do another procedure to at least close the gap. read more

I would like to give a minus star for this dental office. My husband had a tooth emergency so he saw Dr. Chen. He said he needed a crown. We went to an endodontist which told us the crack in his tooth was all the way to the root that a crown would never work that it needed to be extracted and a post placed. We paid for the crown $580 that we never received. I called there office many times without any success only excuses. Final excuse is the insurance sent it to the wrong address. They know that the claim was processed and also know what our responsibility is but refuses to refund until they have the check in hand. They only want your money and find every excuse to not pay it back. Protect your family and your money. Don't use this dentist. read more

My experience at this dental office was less than desirable. My teeth are in worse shape now than they were when I started. They acted as if they were concerned but action speaks louder than words. The actions that I was shown and experienced was not good. I was promised call back to discuss my dental care to no avail. Still waiting. I would not recommend this Dental Office and suggest when you are looking for Dentists and read the reviews don't just read/see the good reviews but carefully read the bad ones. Pros: I really love the hygienist at GoDental, she's super nice and efficient. After my cleaning, it took a while for Dr. Polansky to see me, but he was apologetic for the wait and I appreciated that. Also really appreciated how little I had to do in terms of insurance paperwork, etc. I just handed them my card and they took care of the rest. The office staff seems friendly enough, and when I arrived I didn't have to wait more than a minute or two to be seated in the cleaning chair. I also really love the technology of the place -- Pandora plays in the exam rooms, they have computers and video games in the waiting room to keep you (and your kids) entertained, and I like the option of making my appointment online with e-mail confirmations, etc. This office has really embraced the convenience of technology, and I like that a lot. Cons: Dr. Polansky asked a bunch of questions about my sleep habits, which seemed odd. It turns out he has a partnership with some sleep expert and was trying to encourage me to make an appointment. It was a turn-off -- When I see the dentist, I just want my teeth treated, without having to dodge a sales pitch for something else. He also seemed put out that I'd gotten braces somewhere else, basically suggested that I'd made a bad choice by going with my orthodontist instead of his short-term braces. I HAD actually discussed the braces option with him a year or two ago, but decided against it because of the cost and some other factors. He was nice enough about it, but my decision was well-thought out and I don't like having to justify that. Lastly, I asked about an appointment for my son, who's almost 5, and he said he did treat kids but gave me a bit of a guilt trip for not starting my child on dental treatment sooner. In fact, I had asked him about bringing my son in the last time I was in (a year and a half ago, maybe), and he made it sound at that time like my son was really too young for treatment to be necessary. So I'm a little confused. In general, Dr. Polansky didn't seem terribly enthusiastic about treating little ones, and after looking around the office it doesn't seem like a great option for kids under 9 or 10, so I think I'll take my son somewhere else. Overall: The pros are enough to keep me here for a while (the thought of starting over with initial exams and x-rays somewhere else, OY), but my husband has an appointment next week and if he isn't a fan we'll look for something closer to home that the whole family can take advantage of. read more

I am leaving this review solely based on what little experience I have had with the company. They told my partner that they could take out her wisdom teeth "For just a little more, while she's already numbed" Wisdom teeth extraction cost at minimum at least $200 per tooth, not including anesthetic and time missed from work. She works in a client facing role, and telling her this was completely misguided and unprofessional. I've been trying to contact them for several hours, trying to get an update on what her pricing would cost and I CANNOT get anyone on the phone. I either get a busy signal or a voicemail. Real professional not having a receptionist or having anyone AT ALL answer the phone. It's a damn shame there aren't more practices with morals. read more

LISTEN, do not go here. The dentist agreed to do a procedure on my wife. We paid in advance. After almost two years. Dr. Tucker decided he would no longer finish the procedure. I then talked to him and he agreed to finish. After a few months of prolonging, he then once again stated he would not finish the procedure without additional payment. He left my wife with an unfinished dental procedure. Do not trust him. He will not finish unless you pay for more than agreed upon. Not due to insurance increase or anything like that. He just wanted more money to go play golf or something like that. read more

The dentist is great the staff are fantastic, it's a super new facility, what more can you ask for? The place looks brand new and looks super clean. They seem to have all the modern equipment you'd want to see at the dentist and more. They take really good care of you and are very nice. My room even had a TV where I could stream in Netflix movies or pick a radio station. How sweet is that? I got in with a Groupon deal, so it was very affordable for my wife and I to get a first time checkup, X-Rays, cleaning, and whitening trays. Followup visits are pretty average from what I was told. My wife was calling on the weekend to leave a voice mail to schedule us an appointment. Expecting to hit the voice mail box, she was pretty surprised when the Doc himself picked up. He had the call routed to his cell phone for that particular weekend (Groupon weekend). He was so nice on the phone and addressed all of our questions. I feel like it's not too often that the doctor/dentist will route calls directly to his cell phone on the weekend! read more

Go Dental came to our rescue today and I just wanted to share this very positive experience. My husband, who had not been to a dentist in 38 years (yep - thirty-eight, that's not a typo) began experiencing severe tooth pain last night which worsened until he was positively miserable this morning. At 8am, I started calling dentists nearby to find someone who could see him right away. The receptionist at Go Dental was very accommodating and asked if we could be there by 9am. We were. The reception area is very nice with refreshments, video games for the kids, and internet stations - wow. We were first seen by dental assistant Stacie who is an absolute doll. She took digital x-rays (less radiation) with a portable unit and did her best to make my dentist-phobic husband feel at ease. Dr. Polansky was next and he was utterly wonderful. He examined my husband, explained the x-rays and the problem (a broken wisdom tooth), described in detail what needed to be done (tooth extraction). Because my husband was extremely nervous about the procedure, the dentist first prescribed a sort of "happy pill" that would have a relaxing effect. We left to pick up the medicine at Walgreens and were to return at 1pm for the procedure. The "happy pill," taken an hour before the procedure, worked miracles. Husband was barely aware of what happened. I was allowed to be present for the extraction which helped hubby relax, too. Dr. Polansky was assisted by another wonderful assistant named Toni. The entire experience was as smooth and painless as could be. We have definitely found our dentist and now no longer fear the dentist's chair! read more

I'm not a masochist that enjoys going to the dentist or the smell of burning teeth, but the nice little touches like free water, various pandora stations, and a vivacious crew make it into a real pleasant experience. My partner and I go here for regular dental visits and will continue to do so. On a more personal note, Dr. Polansky helped out a good friend of mine who had severe dental issues. Without going into further detail, by his actions, Dr. Polansky has shown that he's not just here for a buck. He's part of our community. EXCELLENT in so many ways...and who likes going to the dentist?! Clean, comfortable, relaxed and the staff is unbeatable. My cleaning was by far THE BEST one I've ever experienced...and let me tell you...I HATE cleanings more than drilling! All that scrape, scrape, scrape and the sound it makes in your head...then the moments when they hit that REALLY sensitive place. I don't lie...this cleaning was actually enjoyable! And then the rinse out at the end with the fizzy whatever it was...wow!! It was just perfect...and Marjena is so unbelievably sensitive and sweet. Top notch! Then when I went to have my fillings done...AGAIN...wonderful! How wonderful can drilling be? Well, this is about as good as it can get. Comfort and common sense was the order of the day. I didn't even feel it when the needle went in my gums - eww, just the thought of past experiences gives me the chills!! They applied a really effective numbing gel to my gums and...it didn't hurt one bit. Nothing did...it was painless. Awesome. I don't know where Dr. Polansky found such a great team, but everyone there is so helpful and nice. He must be a great guy to work for! I'm sure he is. It's a treat to deal with a happy, pleasant staff - it makes a huge difference for those of us who don't really want to be in a dentist's office in the first place. Why a 4 and not a 5 star? ... well, as important as I know the issues of fluoride are **DO NOT USE IT EVER - IT IS AN UNNECCESSARY POISON** I can't say honestly that "it's as good as it gets" with a 5 star rating, because "as good as it gets" would be a place that refuses to use fluoride and educates it's clients in that manner as well. I understand it's not the mainstream...but that's my stance and I'm not budging on that one. As long as I can request that I not get any rinses or additions of it...I'm good. read more

My son was pushed in to the wall at his school which resulted in his front tooth getting chipped. I took my son to Elite Smiles to have it fixed. Approx. 2 weeks later it fell out. Took him back to Elite Smiles and they did a redo. The same day the same area they replaced fell out again. So, since we had an appointment scheduled for my son's filling, we had them also replace his chip on the same day. After replacing his chip and filling his cavity few weeks later both his chip and one of his fillings fell out. I contacted the office and the lady at the front stated that the tool they use to heat up the teeth when doing filling etc. went bad and admitted there were repeated patients coming in to get repeat work done. I expressed to the lady that I was fed up with finding time to get off work and coordinate going in for the same thing. She empathized with me and said please allow us to fix our mistake. I said okay and scheduled an appointment. One hour before my appointment she calls me and says sorry the Dr. decided your son needs a crown and that you will have to pay for that. I decided to cancel that appointment and take my business elsewhere. Money and time wasted. read more

Dr. Polansky is a sweetheart and very caring i loved the experience. except ONE thing... I came in very early one morning waiting for paperwork for a root canal to see about a payment plan since my dental insurance sucks and it would cost 3000 plus just to get the procedure done. As i sat in the waiting room the receptionist did not know anyone was in the waiting room and i over heard either stacy or toni saying "she probably wont show up since she cant afford it" and there was mumbling i couldn't make out was else was said. They looked startled as i yelled from the waiting room "um i hope you know i'm here and i can hear you" They both came out and said oh i'm sorry we weren't talking about you. Please do NOT go here. I hear great reviews about Dr. Polanski but unfortunately we we t to see dr. Chen. I couldn't get in to my regular dentist and decided to give this place a try. We had an appt for just a regular cleaning and xrays first thing in the am on a weekday when they opened. Checked in and waited...(there were no other patients) 30min go by, 45 min, and so on. Long story short, we were left on the waiting area for almost an hour, finally called me back does the xrays which took another 30min...it was ridiculous. We spent half of our day (4hours) at this office with no other patient to be told I need 6 SIX fillings because I had cavities along with other work needed! I was shocked, went back to my regular dentist and was told I had no cavities. WEIRD! IMO , I think they're not honest and just want to make money however they can. read more

Dr Polansky has been our family dentist for several years now. I do believe about 6 years, maybe 7. After many years of avoiding the dentist, he has transitioned my husband and I both into partials. And has been caring for my son's teeth as well. My son is now in invisaligns to straighten his teeth. Between him and Stacy, we have always been treated amazingly well!. We never feel like "patients". He truly cares about our well being. And seems to be able to keep up with what's going on with our lives. A freak accident is what has brought me to write this review. As if he hasn't been such a wonderful dentist so far, what he and his staff did for us today has brought me to tears. My 14 year old son called me at 4:30pm saying he thinks he's knocked out his front teeth on his bike. BMX-ing can be a dangerous sport. I instantly call Stacy and tell her what has happened. Not only did they offer to stay and tend to my son, she went out to pick him up! I was 30 mins away, and time was critical. Since neither of us knew the true extent of the situation. With the chaos, I misled Stacy on exactly what park he was at, and managed to get back to pflugerville before she located him. Not that she wasn't trying! Apparently visiting a couple of parks trying to narrow it down. Once we all got back to the office, Dr Polansky and his staff were ready and waiting. They worked quickly since he knocked it out root and all, with hopes of saving it. They medicated him, and made the necessary steps to save his tooth. To see my son in so much pain darned near killed me, but the staff was nothing short of comforting for me and him! Of course, now it's a waiting game to see if this worked. But I know they have done everything they possibly could to help my son. Since they all stayed late to help us, I didn't get billed for the work. I asked Dr Polansky as I was leaving, and his words..."we will worry about that later. Take care of him". I walked out in tears ... read more

Dr. Polansky is such a wonderful dentist, and man! My financial situation left me with very few options, and he and his team worked with me to find a solution. After years of a having a severe eating disorder, my mouth was a mess. He not only helped me with the medical issues I was facing, but then also smoothed out several chips I had in the front- as a gesture of goodwill! He truly cares about his patients- not only their health, but their confidence. I left feeling so well cared for. You couldn't ask for a better dentist. And his staff is amazing! Every single lady in there is kind, and competent. Toni, their office manager, even watched my baby girl (4 months) while I was having my initial consultation! They are all gentle, warm, caring, and very soothing- an important factor for me, as I get very nervous at dentist appointments! Let me start off by saying that dentists make me cringe, so my experience with Go Dental was more than surprising. I was in a car accident years ago and had my jaw broken, which caused me to have a crossbite. After "shopping around" for the best Oral Surgeon, I found one I trusted enough to do orthognathic surgery, but he sent me to an orthodontist whom said I would need a year of Invisalign prior to the surgery. I am impatient and I like 2nd opinions, so I was thrilled when I came across Go Dental and saw their "accelerated ortho" treatment, thinking it could cut my pre-surgery ortho in half. The place was super easy to find and the staff were amazingly friendly. The paperwork only took a couple minutes to fill out, and even though they were apparently extremely busy and had squeezed me in last minute, the wait was short. The room I was in was relatively private and I was given a remote for Pandora or Netflix, which was a big plus and totally helped calm my nerves about seeing a dentist. Initially a staff member came in and told me that Go Dental could offer me alternatives to surgery, she was friendly, but I wasn't interested, since I knew what I went their for. Dr. Polansky came in a short time later, apologizing for making me wait too long, even though I had only waited about 5 or 10 minutes. He was personable, polite, and something about him immediately put me at ease. I explained my issue and asked about accelerated orthodontics. He talked to me about it and other methods that could bypass surgery. At first, I thought they were hell bent on selling me something, which put me off since I *want* orthognathic surgery and need it to correct my joints, but I don't want to avoid waiting a year. Dr. Polansky looked inside my mouth, then explained that I have a very complex case and that he could offer me alternatives, but that none of it would help and could make things worse. He told me to stick with the Oral Surgeon and Orthodontist that I have. At that point, I felt an overwhelming amount of respect for the man - he could have continued to try to sell me on a treatment or just slap braces on or whatever, and make money (others definitely have tried), while potentially causing more problems, but he didn't. Instead, he was honest and even offered to be my dentist since I currently don't have one. I am stoked I found a dentist that made me feel completely comfortable and not like just a number. read more

I had a really good experience there. Like another reviewer, I got the sleep study pitch from Dr. Polansky that seemed extra-dental. But if had a sleep study clinic, I'd probably team up with dentists (night-time grinding) to get referrals. And it couldn't hurt in my case, because I have chronic insomnia, although there are no dental issues going on at night with me. Anyway, maybe it's a blessing in disguise. The staff was very friendly. You never want someone working on your teeth who seems like they wish they were somewhere else. Ginger was my hygenist and she made it as painless as possible. They had Pandora radio stations available to listen to (in between the bzzzz of the machines). I had the Strokes station going on while I could hear someone with the Eagles station in another room. I bet my teeth were in better shape. When Dr. Polansky came in, he sat and answered all my questions without the impression that he was in a hurry. A 5-star rating is deserved. read more

This is my first visit going to this office and I have to say I've been very pleased with these guys. The Dr. was extremely nice and courteous. The place is clean, we'll organized, and affordable. What really put the ice cream on the cake was the hygienist Robin! Super sweet and knowledgeable. She explained every step of the way what was going on. She would ask me periodically of I was ok when she was cleaning my teeth. Very very impressed with her work. She also told me it's a pleasure working with Dr. Polonsky. Best Dentist Appointment ... Ever! Visiting a dentist is not my favorite my past time activity. Be that as it may, Dr. P and his staff were nothing but exceptional. After several days of consistent pain (e.g. Thurs - Sunday), I requested an appointment. Though closed, Dr. P heard pain in my vmail and called back to schedule an appointment for the next morning. After hearing I needed an extraction, I was extremely worried. This was my first extraction. Dr. P and staff were extremely patient and empathetic. This calmed my concern. As a result, they completed the extraction carefully, quickly, and constantly monitored my comfort. What could've been a bad day turned into a GREAT DAY OF RELIEF. Thank you Dr. P and staff.
