Sooooooooi disappointed in this salon! I've been coming here for years, despite the price increases. Today was my limit! I called to have 4 nails fixed on a day my normal girl was off. It's been a week since I've had my nails dipped. Usually lasts 3 weeks. 4 nails cracked from top to cuticle. So I scheduled an appointment to fix my nails, clearly something was wrong with how they were done. When I showed up a lady named Mary seemed very irritated that she was fixing someone else's work, very rough and not friendly. She proceeded to file the old dip off, then picked it off with her own nails, then roughly filed the top of my nails almost through the nail with her Dremel. I asked her to stop! Then she dipped my nails and instead of filing them with the Dremel, like normal, down by the cuticle she left a ridge on my thumbs. I showed her and she argued with me. She said don't worry the clear gel will fill it in. How about doing it the correct way? Why are you taking out your frustration on your customer? Then I was charged for the repair. When I brought it to Jay's attention, nothing was said. With all the salons to choose from and being a long time loyal customer this is very disheartening!!! You've lost my business and referrals! Elite use to be great, Heather still is but customer service is GONE!!! read more

It is such a relief having Tim at the front desk. He knows how to manage the salon and handles it so much better than the previous male up there. He has amazing customer service! Apple does excellent work as does My. I have seen My the last two times. She is kind, professional, and does a great job. Apple does great nails and very friendly. Is this place serious? Absolutely lovely space, very clean, well decorated, spacious, etc. All the chairs are very large and comfortable. The salon was spotless and beautiful. My hands are about as ugly as they come and I'm trying to take better care of my nails. I popped into this place with no appointment and I was accommodated immediately. The salon was busy but not congested or uncomfortable. My nail tech was Mary and she was great. Like I said, my nails are awful. I just wanted a basic manicure and she made my nails look like I maintain them regularly! She was very meticulous, gentle and careful in her work. I never want people to look at my nails and after my manicure with Mary I'm so proud of how they look! I knicked my polish getting into my car and she was more than gracious when I came back in. I have been there twice now. They are a little way from my house so I keep trying to find a place I like as much as Elite. I haven't had any luck. The atmosphere here is clean and they truly show so much consideration for your comfort. When they do manicures they give you a shoulder massage while your nails are drying. They spend 20 minutes massaging your legs during a pedicure with hot rocks... They do a great job. Love Elite Nails. read more

I booked elite nails for myself and my wedding party on my wedding day. The salon was extremely clean and was easy to get to. The staff and owner were all friendly - one of the ladies painted my 2-year-old niece's toes and hands without a problem. There was plenty of room for all of us and they were accommodating when some of the party showed up late. Oh and the pedicure for 25.00 is amazing! Today's experience was poor, although have had some average to positive experiences in the past. Had pedicure/manicure - only one leg was massaged. Tech said she did extra time on right leg! Regular manicure - no lotion, no hand massage, nothing. Brought it to the attention of the person at the desk who asked the manicurist. She apologized and said she forgot. He did adjust the price slightly but it was not an enjoyable experience as I expected. Also, didn't care for the fact that I know the manicurist was talking to the manicurist sitting next to her commenting on how rough my heels were. Saw the second manicurist looking at my heels smiling while my manicurist was talking. Hated that place. A huge boiler room with bunch of nail techs who are extremely impolite, rude, and just don't give a shit. They don't honor the reservation that you made and make you wait 40 to 45 min without even apologizing. Then they rush through the service and the quality of the work is pure crap. The worst customer service ever experienced, and poor quality of work. My daughter (who went by herself) was mistreated and taken advantage of. When she tried to address her concerns, she was humiliated then ignored by staff & manager. She ended up having nails fixed at another salon, but this experience was SO terrible, I believe she should have been refunded for the poor work. Management refused to listen to me too (including hanging up phone). At the end of the day, this is just nails... and we'll move on. BUT, passing along a horrible spa day to hopefully save others from a bad experience too - plenty of other options. read more

Let me just say that I rarely do pedicures and manicures. The lady in front was very nice and very helpful :). Amy was my person and she made me feel comfortable she was quick but she takes the time to make sure there are no mistakes. She even paints the whole nail instead leaving the sides not painted. That's a big deal to me. Some places don't even do that. Her massage was great for the pedicure and I love her design. For getting the mani and pedi the total was 48.00 and that includes my tip I gave her which she deserves. Trust me this place is worth getting your nails done. Used to be my go to nail spots. I moved farther away now, and only go on certain occasions but I ALWAYS feel pampered when I'm here. They do killer designs and can almost always match any design that I have pulled off Instagram. me and my sis just got our nails done at Elite Nails and both had an amazing experience. They went above and beyond to pamper us and the prices were very fair! I got a gel polish change but she still have me a little massage and hot towel and she took great care to make sure I was happy with it. My sister got a basic pedi and she said it was the best of her life. He was gentle and didn't tickle her feet like most people have. She said the spa chair massage felt so good. I read the Yelp reviews and was really very impressed so today I went and got a full set (acrylics) and a French manicure. My nail technician really did a fantastic job and the place was packed! The hustle-bustle aside, the environment was relaxing (new age music and no TVs - yay!), it was clean/organized and people were very friendly. Unfortunately, my nail technician had no interest in talking with me (maybe had a bad day?) but once my nails were done (not even dry) she couldn't leave her station fast enough. The many downsides to this place, of which are the reasons I won't be returning. They don't offer water to their patrons. Cheesy elevator music is playing overhead. Incense was burning and smelled gross! The English spoken was very poor. Their services are over-priced! One of the nail technicians looked like he could be a pimp. He was wearing a super tight black muscle shirt and a ridiculous gold chain with a huge jade Buddha displayed. The nail tech cut my big two toenails really short and rounded them. My favorite nail place *always* asks which cut i prefer --square, rounded or square with rounded edges. They didn't ask, and since I was talking with my friend, I didn't get the chance to stop and tell the tech my preference. So, I didn't get the look I was hoping for. My toes looked dumb. Two upsides to this place: They had fancy decor & a neat wall water feature! Also, there were comfy newer massage chairs which massaged firmly. read more

This is the best nail salon I have found in Gilbert so far and believe me- I've visited pretty much all of them in the last year since I moved here. Every other place I went, I came home pissy because the mani or pedi was not what I had hoped for. I am so pleased with the gel manicures here- they do an excellent job. Also a nice, long foot massage with pedis. Also very clean. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because some of the staff seems grumpy like they don't want to be there...not all just some. My mom and I went for a pedicure each. And we loved it! Pauline was very nice, polite and did a great job. She took her time on my feet and legs and even on my design! Our pedis from start to finish lasted about 1hr, I had the classic pedi and my mom had the Luxury one. The design charge depends on how difficult it is. I went in for a polish change. They were busy and the shift manager was stressed out. She decided to do the polish change herself. She rushed through it and did a terrible job. I've never complained and spoken up when I haven't loved my polish but this was bad. So with my heart racing I got the nerve up to say something. She decided to argue about it and defend the polish change. I told her to never mind but then she insisted on doing it again. I was embarrassed beyond belief. Apparently she didn't care that she was arguing with a customer. So here is the redeeming part of my review. A few minutes after the manager lady left another employee, who apparently saw what happened, came and touch up the polish and was so sweet to me. She put my sandals on me and walked me up and wrote the ticket and had me pay. She was ultra kind. This kind lady is the reason for the three stars. The manager lady is the reason for the lacking two stars. It's kind of sad because I've been there several times in the past and been satisfied. BEWARE...don't get just a polish change. I have been going to Elite nails for 8 years. They are the best hands down! They are extremely clean and change out their massage chairs about once a year which are top quality btw. Not to mention their prices haven't changed. Still only $25 for a basic pedicure which includes a sea salt scrub massage and hot stone massage. Not to mention the fabulous job they do painting your toes! The salon is beautiful and they have updated the look at least 3 times in the 8 years I have been a customer. My favorites for pedicures and manicures are Lisa, Tracy and Vincent. Tim the owner is Amazing always asking you if you are comfortable and if you would like a bottled water. It is easy to tell he cares about his customers and business . Oh and Gel/Shelac....only $20 and first timers get $5 off! I cannot say enough good things about this place! I have been going here for a couple years now. I love the atmosphere it's pretty and very calming. Everyone is very friendly. Staff and techs alike. My very favorite nail tech is Lori. She has become a person I can call my friend. And I don't really like people so that's saying alot. She is excellent at her art. And as far as I'm concerned if your doing it right it is an art. Stopped in with my girlfriend to enjoy some RnR and ended up with a pedicure. And let me say that I thoroughly enjoyed every second it. As soon as you walk in, it's very clean, modern, relaxing and they are very friendly. What I found surprising soothing was all of the pedicure chairs are located behind a glass water wall that shoots bubbles every ten seconds or so. Definitely adds to the relaxing ambiance. The regular pedicure is only $25 and comes with an exfoliating scrub and hot stone massage! Seriously the worst experience I have ever had in a nail salon. First off Theresa (which is her nail name) complained about taking off my SNS powder gel telling me she has never had an issue and my nails were a problem. Then after filing off all the polish and my nails literally BURNING. I didn't say anything I was polite and patient because she seemed new. After doing 4 coats on my right hand and only two on my left I'm left with two different colors of purples on my hands. After her rushing the entire time, not willing to do my cuticles, or add a massage for $5 my right hand index finger wasn't drying and she kept having to re polish along with my thumb. She was rushing to go make money off something she knew how to do. She was rude and had the worst attitude as if it was an issue to ask for a purple gel. Then at the end Im charged with $40 with a removal fee for taking off my gel polish. I will absolutely never return here and I'm beyond upset I had to leave with a bill and my nails not looking so hot. Oh and having her friends look at you like as if your a problem and speak about you the entire time is fun. Thanks so much. read more
