I had Elite Pest Control for 14 years and often referred them. I am not sure if the company changed ownership but they increased their rates and re-treatment service is no longer included with their service. The customer must pay for an entire service all over again. They were recently at my house, I have ants all over and explained I needed a re-treatment. They told me I would need to pay for another service, and wait two weeks. I told them I would find another vendor and would be canceling their service. I found another vendor who is cheaper, came the same day, and they include free re-treatment services with their bi-monthly plan. If you have Elite Pest Control get rid of them now and don't look back. In addition to this post I warned and apologized to everyone I referred them to. Also, the woman on the phone was unprofessional and thought the situation was funny. Hopefully, she continues to act like that and more customers decide to use a different vendor. read more

We have been with Elite for many, many years. The customer service has been extremely accommodating. More importantly, the service has proven to be efficient and effective. Most of our neighbors have had difficulty for years with scorpion problems, and some of them live just a few yards away from the perimeter of our home. They try spraying themselves and often spend evenings with special lights trying to find them and rid the problem. For the past 10 years, we have not had ANY problems. The technician sprays inside and out every month and we are scorpion and pest free, and the envy of the street. I keep telling them they should contact Elite, but they choose to tackle the problem themselves and end up killing up to 20 to 30 scorpions per month in their bathroom and even their bed. They actually spend more on chemicals than we pay for the service. What can I say? Over the years, we have had technicians who stay for long periods of time and we developed a trust with them. A few times we had a technician in between that did not want to squeeze between the wall and the air-conditioning unit. One of them lied to us that they sprayed that side of the house. After they left, I checked and it was dry. He didn't want to be bothered. The problem was -- that side of the house covered 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. I called Shane and told him I would be changing companies, and he would not accept that. He really wanted to know why I was changing and when I explained, he took care of the problem -- that day! Elite pest control is an awesome company they are our year round pest exterminators Being that we live in a condo and we can't control our neighbors we feel it necessary to regularly spray to keep "critters " to a minimum and since starting with Elite we have little to zero critters so Thank u Elite and thank u Justin.. Justin is our technician and he is just a great guy he is always very friendly, kind, super informative not to mention he always wears a face mask and shoe coverings to protect against COVID. Their prices have not gone up in all this time and we really are impressed with their customer service. I receive and email telling me when they are coming then the driver calls me when he is on his way. If we need them in between service dates they come right away to take care of our problem. My husband and I were house sitting and noticed a HUGE swarm of bees. We called and Shane (the owner) picked up immediately, I asked some questions and he was more than happy to answer them all, silly or not and gave us a good quote. He said he could have someone in route right away. 10 minutes later I received a call from Michael who said he'd be there in 20 minutes and he was. Michael saw the swarm suited up and put them in a box to make sure they could be relocated. Our quote was fulfilled, the bees are safe and overall (even for having thousands of bees around lol) a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this company! read more

Great staff, atrocious ownership. Shane has zero concept on how to properly run a business. A very close family member worked there for a couple years and had to deal with upset customers on a daily basis due to the poor and ultimately neglectful nature of the way this business is run. Guess that multi million dollar home with the TV show pool is more important than the customers that help pay for it? The reason for my complaint is that months ago the company went to a new scheduling system. A much needed upgrade for the techs who were manually scheduling the calls. Well come to find out he did it on the cheap and went with a very poorly designed program. Imagine that. When this happened our days were changed from Saturday (the only day we're home to spray inside and the backyard) to mid-week without as much as a phone call to see if this would work. So after a few months of missing the tech we call to figure out what's going on so we're told about the scheduling. We've tried to deal with it for the past few months but it's just not working. So I call to cancel Elite to find a company that can come out on the weekends and Chris who is always as friendly as can be talks me into staying and says we can swap back to Saturdays. So we do and are told the tech will show on 5/11/19 between 10:30a-11:30a. He shows up @ 1:30pm with no call and no contact whatsoever. Gets out of the truck and says "sorry man". Well, considering my son had a soccer game @ 2pm. I asked him kindly to tell the office to cancel my service when he returns and don't worry about spraying today. Of course that wasn't done either. So today I cancelled and will never recommend this service to anyone. In fact, what I actually recommend is that Shane should probably unload this business to someone who cares about taking care of the company's customers and employees. He's run every great technician off who has worked for him and most of his office staff by simply just making it a place to work that's so much easier to find better. Turnover happens when you don't take care of people. Take note Mr. Jaeger. When I asked for a power spray I was told the company is down to one power spray truck as they've had "better results" with pump sprayers. Truth is the owner is just flat out too cheap to buy the proper equipment to run the company. I can give countless examples of why Elite Pest Control customers receive sub-par service due to the blatant negligence of ownership in supplying their techs and staff with inadequate tools to properly do their job. read more

We've been using Elite Pest Control (apparently they'll wash your windows too! THATS COMFORTING...) since we moved into our house about a year and half ago. The main reason is because our property backs up to land under control of the county called "BLM" (the Bureau of Land Management). We have a nasty bee problem with a hive or more than just one hive on that land and apparently this is the only company that BLM "trusts". We've called for them to come and spray around our house and yard several times over the past year and a half and have requested again and again, finally demanding that they work with BLM to fix the problem with the bees. They have come out to us once. And I truly believe it was BLM that forced them to and they're no picnic to deal with either. I scheduled an appointment for today for which I was under the assumption would be between noon and 2:30pm. That's not an unreasonable window of time in my opinion even though I may have other things to do during the day than sit around my house and wait for no phone calls. At 2pm I decided to call their office just to be sure the appointment was correct. A very nice lady answered and confirmed that I had an appointment but it was from 2-3pm. Oh that's fine, I can wait a little longer, must have been miscommunication on my part, so sorry for inconveniencing you! Not at all sir, have a wonderful day! Thank you! You do the same! 3pm came and went. I called back. Straight to voicemail. Called again. Voicemail. I called 6 times. Voicemail every time. In an office. At 3pm on a WEDNESDAY. There's no excuse for that. It is now 6pm, they're closed unless they all decided to leave at 3 anyway, I mean, WHY NOT!? I've been waiting at my home all day. I think this is the straw to break the camels back. I'm trying this new thing called "looking on the bright side" and this stupid company is making that really difficult for me. I don't know, the idea of sitting inside on a beautiful 70 degree autumn afternoon on my day off with the combination of bees and crickets and ants and scorpions and spiders and grasshoppers and roaches having a fuckin party outside and no "ELITE" pest control (AND WINDOW WASHING TOO!!!) to perform the duties that their service suggests they might do... But only if they feel like it... I don't think I'm so crazy after all for saying that this company is a complete joke. They're a waste of time. They're pitiful and I truly hope they all wake up one day and realize that their lives are pathetic and worthless. ELITE Pest Control. HA! There is NOTHING elite about them. Unless they want to eliminate their own pest problems!! Or if they need a window washed.... Stupid company. read more

I sent an inquiry for their services yesterday morning, played phone tag a little bit (no biggie), and finally got a hold of Heleen. Nice enough lady, got my info and said she'd have a Tech call me to set up an appointment. Rec'd a call some time later from Jay, saying he could be at my house between 12 - 2 pm today. Great, sounds perf! I took a half day off at work to accommodate, since roaches in my house and yard are not ok. At 1:36 pm, rec'd a call from Jay saying he can't make it today, asked if it's ok that Heleen call me to reschedule for next week. "Uh, sure." ... it's not like I have a choice in the matter, although it's really not ok at all. I hung up and called another company that I found a Groupon for instead. I am extremely satisfied with the service that he provides each time that he comes to my home. He always addresses any questions that may arise, is courteous, highly professional and conscientious! Although I prefer having a set schedule, Chris in the office is most accommodating and flexible if I need to reschedule my appointment. Four months I spent in a war zone (my house) with 460,000,000+ intractable ants. Four months! I was determined I could beat them back with my Pinterest arsenal of natural treatments. Yes, I'm one of those, I weep when I hear about what apple cider vinegar can do..Early on, I was a pacifist and wanted no anthropod casualties. After a couple weeks of grim battle, my weary husband and daughter were begging me to call for the professional troops. Undaunted, I patiently waited for one concoction after another to do the trick and convince them to depart, one way or another. Instead, they were thriving on the diet I fed them. Apparently that approach was not only creating a breeding frenzy- hence exponentially producing more ants, but was actually endowing them with super powers as well! My family was openly hostile, after many months, not to the ants, but to me. At this point, I wanted no human casualties. So they forced me to call the pros. I was somewhat embarrassed to confess to the havoc I had wrought when the tech arrived and saw the invasion, but thankfully he was non-judgmental and kind, and just got right to it. From the inside to the outside of our home, he was exceptionally thorough. Very impressive! So I was stunned a few days later to see the ants had returned! A quick call, and the tech on the white horse (possibly a white truck) showed up again to do battle. He was amazed at the sheer numbers of these resilient creatures, if not their brazen behavior. No extra charge to wipe them out. I no longer felt guilty about casualties, they had been warned. Less than a week later, I had to make another emergency call when what to my wondering eyes did appear...you know who..yet again! It was like being in a bad late night horror movie. But Elite didn't give up on me, and once more, rushed right out. The tech found this even more unbelievable than I did, but jumped into action yet again. I guess it's 3 strikes and you're out for some intrepid ants, and they had certainly waged a holy war, but in the end, were no match for Elite. I'm grateful for Elite's willingness to go the extra mile and not give up, and to be gracious and supportive while doing so. It can't always be easy to be more persistent than a determined bug! read more

I just moved to Vegas a week ago from Tucson. Waaaay more 6-8 legged creatures here than in Tucson. I called Elite Pest Control on a recommendation from a friend. I had to leave a message and they got back to me in an hour or so. I said I wanted someone to come out ASAP to get rid of the bugs and black widows, and that I was also wanting to set up some regular maintenance as well. But my first concern was getting rid of what was there QUICKLY. Well, the lady on the phone told me that they wouldn't be able to get out here for at least a week. Seriously? I told her that I'd call her back about maintenance later on because a friend had recommended them, but I'd call someone else about immediate service. Well, the second I mentioned they'd been recommended, she suddenly had an opening sooner (so I guess she lied before). So I said OK and she started going over prices -- $79 for initial treatment and then said something about contracts and $25/month maintenance. I told her I just wanted to get the immediate problem taken care of first, then I'd set up maintenance. That's when she got rude. In a snotty voice, "So you're just going to be using us on an on-call basis, then?" I said no, I was currently busy with another service provider (cable guy) in my house and offered to call her back. She had the *gall* to say, "OK, you call me back later and we'll negotiate." Excuse me?? I'm not trying to buy a friggin' car. I want service, not attitude. Why on earth should I have to negotiate?? Needless to say, I didn't engage their services and I never called her back. I called Pitbull Pest Control, and they were friendly, fast, and reasonably priced. read more

I am not writing this review based on their service but rather on their desperate attempt to drum up business in a private community. They were out in my neighborhood today servicing one of my neighbors. When the tech was finished, I watched him pull over and tape up blue flyers (Elite Pest Control 702-547-5298) on the sides of our mail boxes. It looks tacky, and will likely end up getting tore off (or blown off in the wind) and littering the neighborhood. If you want to advertise, do it on tv or on the proper venues. I have used the Elite Pest Control several times over the years and was pleased with the service provided, the technicians were professional and punctual. However, my last experience was a disaster. While on the last visit, the technician had recommended against getting rid of wasps, later, I was charged for the full amount for the service that has not been performed. As I disputed the invoice, the office (a woman named Chris) started bargaining with me, first, sending the invoice for $120, then, for $85, and finally, for $50. This is a highly unethical business practice and the report to BBS will be filed. Same woman (Chris) previously reassured me that the inspections were free of charge as they generate potential business. In fact, I was not charged for the previous inspection. Now, I am being charged retroactively, and it appears to be more of a begging-for-money company than a reputable business. Too bad for the honest technicians who work there. We found a couple scorpions in our home, called elite pest control, and they were out by the end of the day setting traps and spraying. Their service tech always calls us the day before our normal service, and is always prompt to show up when scheduled. Been with this company for a couple years now and always have been satisfied with not only having no bugs in the house but the customer service is great! We just moved and had them come out to do a spray. The young man who comes is always friendly and does a great job making sure he doesn't miss any corners in the house.
