The other $85 was disputed with Visa and was successfully granted for the second identical service conducted 2 days later! WARNING TO EXISTING NEWMANNS CUSTOMERS, if you ever have any issues, be VERY cautious about reporting them as they could threaten to cancel and raise your monthly rates. Sadly, after losing a long-term great customer, and now others whom I had previously refereed, over a one time $85 service issue, it has led to this end. It appears to me that my best path forward is to head to small claims court to attempt to get this permanently resolved. Here's the kicker.... My family was in charge of the contract with his business, and since he could not reach them. He sent me several texts, harassing me for information on how my family was, and that he was going to put the account in collections. Once again, I was not included in the financial or contractual part of the account. My number was placed on the account so I can be contacted by Michael to allow him to service the yard, something he failed to ever communicate after initial service. But he managed to text me to collect for the service. I find the harassment to be threatening and concerning to say the least. Every homeowner I spoke to has never seen a tech. 1 year ago I call them up and asked for an estimate for pest fumigation and asked the tech to pls check the rodent box near my unit. He did so hesitantly. I watched him and all spikes were empty with the exception of one were empty. This one spike had a thin section of poison left which was covered with decaying leafs. This company is on a monthly retainer. I asked the board and CAM to meet with the tech during the next service. I made myself available all day . No call. No text to meet him. Our CAM informed me that service is every 1st and 3rd Thursday. My question is this... Where is this company's quality, service responsibly and what's more honesty come into play? Of course our board carries responsibility as well for lack of honoring their fiduciary duty to hold this company responsible to the terms of their contract to this entire community. We had two rodent issues with one inside unit walls and during the last HOA meeting one home owner stated that she had rodents running across her patio and is not able to enjoy her patio.
