This was our second time at this groomer. First time was great and got exactly the cut we wanted. A few weeks ago I dropped my dog off, waited outside for 10-15 minute because their lobby was full which I don't mind. When I entered, the groomer asked me how short I wanted it, I said the first time I was there the groomer stated she could only get about an inch off, cleanup trim, without damaging his undercoat. This groomer disagreed saying that she could shave him down to a 10 or 7 (refer to photo) I explained I did not want his hair short by any means because I've been told by multiple groomers that shaving him down that short would not be good for his coat at all. I specifically asked for a cleanup and made it clear I thought. I didn't even want his length anything less than a 4 and we agreed on the level 3 which I saw her write on the paper. I felt rushed out the door and felt uneasy about our conversation. My partner picked him up and my dog is completely unrecognizable, I think the photos speak for themselves. Groomer told him I asked for a 10/7. I am not the one to complain however, this was just upsetting at how Short they cut when I specifically said I wanted to keep his hair length longer. I did speak to the owner which she apologized for the miscommunication however I don't appreciate that they tried telling me I asked for a 10/7 cut and received a 3. The photos are clear that he did not even receive the 3 level cut and his shave is even patchy.

Michelle is amazing! Thank you for taking care of our Kaia she now looks super beautiful and soft. We couldn't be happier. This was her first haircut! Thank you, I highly recommend Michelle's expertise! Very reasonable pricing.

I found the perfect groomer in Chandler for sparticus! I gave taken him here three times now and each time they have given him great mohawk cuts. The prices are reasonable and they don't keep him there forever. He is always happy when we leave and I feel that I can trust them with his care, which is paramount when it comes to groomers.

Wow!! Look no further!! Michelle is your girl if you want your pet groomed! They do such a fantastic job here. I couldn't be happier, not to mention Michelle took time out of her busy day to show me the correct way to trim my dog's nails in between groomings. Thank you Elite pet spa!!

    I have no words

I honestly have no words. What is this haircut.... My sister brought them in and said they had totally new staff today. They usually do a good job on our dogs, but definitely didn't do a good job today

I had my Golden Retriever groomed by Denise today! Best grooming ever done, Kodi looked awesome! Price was better was bethan past three groomers, and best job done here! Definitely will return for future grooming. Denise is very gentle and thorough - and Kodi loves Adrian too! You know you found a great groomer when your pet looks great- runs to you to say hello and then runs back to the staff - very happy and comfortable- and not "running for the door to escape ! Highly recommend their services!

She looks and smells so good

Today was our first visit to Elite. I have to say, of all the years of grooming our dogs prior to moving here, this was by far the best grooming my lab has ever received. She was so clean and her fur looks amazing. We did a basic bath and brush and added the service to have her undercoat combed out. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well. We will definitely be back!

I wish I could give -ve stars, I had my dog groomed here, they put razor burns and cuts on his behind, after reporting the issue, they had the audacity to say that this was not done by them. So you leave a healthy pet with them and they return it back injured. The Vet also confirmed that it is due to razor burn. Please save your Pets and do not take it to this place.

Please see review below, dated on 10/30/2016 Elite paw spa did this to my fur baby Rylie

When our boys started becoming aggressive with each other, it broke our hearts. We had so much happening in our lives, we had forgotten that we project on to our kids. Instead of having one step forward , three steps back, we are now four steps forward and one step back. We just know, now, that we have to be more diligent with them and remember they too are our children. Your guidance, and teaching, has helped us regain our lives, and feel that our kids are safe, and they have been playing together. I could not figure out why nothing was working. A colleagusuggested that I try a dog trainer named Bob Solomini that he had used in the past. His passion and confidence in Bob convinced me and even though I was very skeptical and worn out I decided to give it one last try. I am excited to tell you about my invaluable experience and what I learned from it: -my dog was only a small part of the problem, but the majority of the behavioral problems stemmed from me. Dogs aren't born knowing how to behave the way humans would like them to, so we as responsible dog owners need to teach them. -we don't automatically realize what we are doing wrong and unless a true professional who really cares can teach us the correct way we can't be sure that we will ultimately have a happy relationship with our pet. -after four years of pulling my hair out and stressful walks with my dog I wound up moving to a new neighborhood, and my dog was totally out of control when I walked him. When he saw people with dogs, he went crazy and I could not stop him from barking and pulling. In fact, he pulled me down a couple of times where I sprained my ankle and another time where I hurt my knee. In fact, most of my neighbors walked the other way when they saw us and complained about my dog's bad behavior. After the first lesson, I immediately knew that I had found something different. Humane, focused,, professional, and results driven. I am so lucky that I found all American K-9 and especially Bob Solomini. I love walking my dog now, and all of my neighbors have praised the incredible transformation that they see. This was literally a life-changing experience for my dog and for me. I am so thankful that I found somebody that really knows what they're doing and really cares -not only is Bob a great person, but also the Best dog trainer that I have ever met. I highly recommend this trainer and business to anyone who is serious about having a great dog!

Before training, Maggie was almost impossible to walk, constant leash pulling, barking, and reactivity that made it embarrassing to take her anywhere. Since our very first lesson, she has completely transformed. She's calmer, more responsive, and so much easier to handle. Now I can take her with me to Lowe's or PetSmart and she walks right next to me, relaxed and focused. I even get compliments from people about how calm she is. Bob explains everything clearly and gives you tools that actually work. If you're looking for a trainer who truly knows what he's doing, this is the place.

If you are struggling with behavioral issues that go beyond the basics, I highly recommend working with Joel. We are incredibly optimistic about the progress we'll make in our upcoming sessions.

My 81 year old mom moved to an urban setting with a small yard and a neighborhood with lots of…read moresmall, yappy dogs that sets off reactivity in her German Shepherd. Although the dog has been through several training programs, she had recently reverted back to being reactive on leash: barking, pulling, and lunging at any dog that barked at her or gave her a "look". Thankfully I found Rob's Dogs through a search online. Rob offers dog training either through individual sessions sold as a packet of 8 or 3, or you can elect to do a board and train method. Since my mom's dog had done two board and trains with other training facilities in Florida and Texas, I opted for the individual sessions sold as a packet of 3. Not to disparage the other training schools, I want to note that the dog had learned a great deal of commands, but she was a little rusty and selective when doing them and was selectively reactive on leash around other dogs. What we needed was a trainer that could come to my mom's neighborhood and see the dog being reactive in the environment where she was going to be walked. Thankfully Rob's Dogs offered this as an option. It cost a significant amount to do this, but it was possible. The additional cost was for the mileage and drive time to my mom's place. We had a meet and greet at the facility. Rob, the owner, met with us and got the back story on the dog and the current behavior problems. He took the dog and walked her around a bit and near other dogs, tested her response to commands and leash pressure. He explained the package options available to us. He also made us aware that we would be using both a prong collar and e-collar to reinstate her former training. We had these tools, but my mom hadn't used them with the dog since she left Florida, and I had never used them. We were assigned a trainer who was contracted by Rob. Lauryn was super friendly and had a love and full understanding of the German Shepherd breed. She herself had a German Shepherd. She went over the operation of the two collars which I was not familiar with at all. Rob's dogs sent us a link and password so that we could watch some important training videos. His website also had some very useful training tips. I highly recommend watching/reading this information carefully and then reviewing it again each week. It's easy for owners to slip into bad habits quickly which results in their dogs behaving in ways they don't want. You will have to enforce rules and get into a routine. Restrictions can be lifted once the dog consistently behaves as desired. You will find that YOU will have to do the hard work. The trainer and Rob's Dogs will assess your current situation and give you the tools and training to use those tools to reinforce good behaviors. It won't happen overnight. You will need to work with the dog for at least an hour each day to reinforce the seven commands and expectations. As I mentioned, we only had three sessions. This training was going to determine whether or not my mom could keep and handle her dog. Immediately after the first session, we started using the tools and putting restrictions in place inside the house to set the law of the land. Right away, we noticed a difference. While the dog was already really well behaved in the house, it improved her response to us when we walked her outside of the house. The prong collar made a drastic difference in her behavior when she saw other yappy dogs on the walk. I no longer had to worry about her lunging, pulling or barking incessantly in an aggressive stance. She still got up, moved forward, and barked once, but it was all very controlled. I didn't have to use all of my strength to hold her back. The real test came when my mom was able to walk her dog around other yappy dogs. After session two, my mom was easily able to do this, and I felt confident that continuing this training would allow my mom to keep her dog. Her German Shepherd is sometimes still reactive, but it is much more controlled and manageable now. In time, and with continued consistent practice, I believe my mom's dog will eventually stop the reactivity altogether. She has already shown amazing progress and only slips occasionally. If you are looking for effective dog training (well, really we know it is human training to learn how to effectively communicate with the dog), then consider Rob's Dogs. You will work hard to get your dog's behavior issues resolved, but the longterm results will allow you to have a wonderful relationship with your pet.

When we adopted Angus, an American Bulldog, he was extremely reactive, had zero impulse control, and was tough to manage. Walks were stressful--he would bark, lunge, and completely lose it around other dogs. Recall was non-existent, and previous trainers had little success with him. After his time at CharlieBar, everything changed. Angus now walks calmly on a leash, his reactivity has decreased by at least 90%, and he thrives during his daily training sessions at home. The most remarkable part of Ricardo's approach is that it goes beyond basic commands--he teaches dogs how to think, make decisions, and self-correct. It's not just about punishment or praise; it's about helping dogs understand their choices. With a simple "uh uh," Angus now stops, thinks, and chooses better behavior--without fear or confusion. We're beyond grateful for the results and highly recommend CharlieBar to anyone looking to make a lasting difference in their dog's behavior.
