I got married out on the beach and my bridal party came here for mani-pedis the day before. The pedicures were really good -- free champagne and great service. However, my French gel manicure (the bride) was awful. It was the sloppiest manicure I have ever gotten in my life. I have short nails to begin with and I started off by telling him that I wanted to keep as much length as possible and to go easy on the filing. I also told him I wanted a square shape, and he proceeded to file all of the nails on my right hand into totally round shapes that were unsalvageable. When I stopped him, he blamed me and said I never told him I wanted square, even though I had and he had nodded and acknowledged it. At the end, there was Polish all over my na bed and skin on my fingers, and the tips were all uneven and sloppy. I had to go home and use an at-home kit to fix my horrible manicure. read more

Not coming back. I came back here to give it another chance after my first bad experience and both times the process was rushed and the job was sloppy. The color selection is mediocre at best. The people are nice but really the service is not up to my standard, which is really not that high. I did have the same lady doing my nails both times, however. Clean, neat establishment in the Publix shopping center right in the center of Gulf Breeze. Row of ~8 chairs and always fully staffed to handle manicures or pedicures. Can I give more than 5 stars? I happened upon this place. Walked in and all of the 10 pedicure seats were full. Very busy. They greeted me and told me i'd be next. Never felt rushed. On my first visit yesterday, I went to the salon with my 21 year old daughter. We went for a pedicure. I wanted the plain polish and she was interested in the gel polish. I was amazed to see that on top of the $27 for a basic pedicure they wanted an additional $22 for gel polish. My daughter decided to go with regular polish instead and they found a close match to the gel color. The problem is they half ass do their job. The whole experience felt very lazy on their part. My lady actually would pretended to cut my cuticles on my toes, LOL! When I said something, like, oh you couldn't find any cuticle to cut, she completely ignored me. What a joke! My daughter's nail polish on the big toe was terrible (bunched up and her technician didn't clean up the polish from mistakes). I wished I would have looked at her pedicure before we left. Also, they made sure to remove the toe seperators before we left. FYI, they re-use them on other clients. Othersise, point for a clean location and the Pinot was good. The got mad bc I asked for a design on my nails after I waited 2 hours and then they started talking in a different language after and one lady was pointing and yelling in another language and I asked the man who was doing my nails what was going on and he said she was mad bc the design lady was out and she was throwing a fit. The people here are amazing at what they do and just nice people all around. I was getting my nails done and I accidentally messed it up trying to get my hair out of my mouth when the lady saw she just said " oh no a boo boo" and fixed it right up. While I was getting my pedicure the nice man and I had a conversation about what position I played in soccer and informed me which pedicure I should get because of it. It was an amazing experience and I will definitely be back soon. read more

Nice chairs...very clean. Leg massage by women is weak. I was scolded for cutting my nails too short. They serve wine and there is nothing posted about a 1 glass limit. When I asked for a 2nd glass, I was denied by the owner. Trust me...I had no intentions of asking for a 3rd. They serve jug wine that is as cheap as it comes. I'm sure my 25 cent glass of wine wouldn't have been as much of a loss to them as my business. I will not go back. read more

I went into Elite as a Walk-in, with three other people for a Bridal Party (was the maid of honor the next day)... They were busy, so we waited for a opening. No wine, beverage or even water offered at any time during Our visit. I upgraded and asked for the "Lilly", but my pedicure was shorter than the person next to me getting the lower level "Daisy". They sat there and talked about us (pointed at my friend's feet) in another language then English, and my Pedicurist seemed a bit put off, when i would interrupt to ask a question, or conversation. Saw him point to a lady sitting at manicurist station, filing her own nails, who happen to be very polite at the door to me, and gesture rolling his eyes. Wish he would of been paying closer attention to my pedicure. He picked up my purse twice and moved it for me (a no-no with me), and asked me to pay before he even painted my nails on my manicure (my friends paid at the end). My Manicurist insisted that i sit at a certain station, when I asked repetitively to sit at another station with the Bride. Not enjoyable listening to him talk in a language i didn't know, even though he spoke English very well when asking for payment. Would of had a much better time with another attendant at the salon I think (I saw several that seemed to be enjoying themselves). I gave a generous tip, because they fit us in as a walk in, and my mani was not started yet, thought he would do a good job. I prepaid, was charged extra, or more than the bundled package because he charged me for the individual services, and felt a bit disappointed by the experience. My nail polish started peeling off at the wedding the next day, and the tips were not finished. I got a clear coat of polish over cheap white tips, when i had paid for and asked for a french beige manicure and pedicure to match. i do not think he was paying attention when I spoke to him, and no one took the time to ask us which services we wanted that day. For a mani and upgraded pedi, i paid close to $80.00. His manicure station was dusty and uncomfortable to sit in as well. On the positive note, maybe he was just having a bad day. Salon seemed to be busy and stay that way, other stations looked presentable, and the pedicure itself was normal. Not for the upgraded price, but passable. I did not get my moneys worth, and left disappointed. read more

Atmosphere is happy....staff and clients are always chatting and laughing....so relaxing...I have had the BEST pedicures I have had in years....I recently moved to Gulf Breeze and was worried about finding a salon like the one I had gone to for 15 years.....I walked into Elite Nails and felt "at home" the minute I walked in! My husband and I are are vacationing on Pensacola Beach. I did not have time to get my nails done prior to leaving Indiana. I noticed this nail salon when were getting groceries on Saturday. I came in today for a mani/pedi. I was greeted as I came in and promptly seated in a a pedi-chair. The staff were very accommodating. I chose the Rose mani and pedi--well worth the money. My hands, arms, feet, and lower legs look and feel amazing. I would definitely come back and recommend to others visiting the area. read more

Horrible, horrible, horrible...The owner was having an argument with his wife. She seems very mad and left. It was very unprofessional. The worst part was the sanitation. I came there for a new set of nails and was told to put my hands in a bowl of acetone with a light pink color, yuk, nasty. The acetone was USED. OMG, how can people get away with that. I went with it since I'm not a complaining type but I should have left. My new set was not that great because I broke a nail in the 2nd day and it started coming up from the back on the 3rd day. They charge a high price and give a so so service with an F for sanitation. I wonder how can they still be in business. NEVER AGAIN! read more

We had a wonderful experience today at Elite Nails. I made an appointment but we certainly didn't need one they had plenty of chairs. We were immediately greeted and offered a beverage. They had so many different kinds of wine and champagne to choose from. We each got the deluxe pedicure which was amazingly relaxing and the chairs were very comfortable with nice massagers. The girls were wonderful and sweet. We'd definitely recommend Elite nails to anyone in the area or anyone on vacation that wanted to skip the pricy spas and get much better service! read more

The people are nice, but they just need to slow down. A male did my pedicure, but he was such in a hurry that he didn't even take care of the cuticle and then it was sloppy as well. The lighting didn't show that there was white spacing (nail polish was not passed through there) but I didn't notice until I was at home. It was frustrated but I should of went back. the manicure was alright as well but too expensive. $70 total ... way too expensive, but perhaps is the Island price. Not sure. I went in today with my daughter for a girls day and it started off so-so. The wait was not long, however the person doing my pedicure was busy chit chatting with another girl and paid little attention to my pedicure. My previous color was not fully removed and when I asked her to take it completely off she told me that my new color would cover it. My nails were not clean and when she painted she did not clean the sides. I left with clear and red polish all over my cuticles! I will not return. read more

This salon obviously does not want anybody's money. I have been in numerous times asking for services they offer, only to be turned away or given the worst attitude from the employees. You would think that a full service nail salon would want to have your business- but this salon, clearly does not. Horrible attitudes, ridiculous prices. I went in a few weeks ago about an hour before closing wanting a pedicure and manicure. To my surprise, they asked me to only choose one as it would take to long for both. I was astonished to hear this coming from a big Florida city where salons wouldn't mind staying open a few minutes later for a guest (more money for them!)- to make things worse, the woman giving my manicure (I chose the mani and just a polish change on my toes since THEY were so pressed for time) suggested OTHER salons in the area for me to go to next time! So not only do they not want my money, but they don't want me to come there ever again, and suggested I get my nails done somewhere else?? What kind of business is run this way??
