No complaints for this nail salon in Pensacola! I called ahead and made an appointment for a gel manicure for the same day on a Friday and had no trouble getting seen. As soon as I got there, the nail tech helped me pick this nice neutral color. She took her time removing my old gel polish and I like the way my nails look now. I enjoyed the vibe of my appointment, I was just watching the TV while she worked on my nails. All together it came out to $48 before tip which isn't bad in my opinion. Incredible hour. Pleasant atmosphere efficient quick service with plenty of massage time. They managed three people with different requests simultaneously. Always make an appointment - they do get busy. We went at 9:15 left at 11:00. We got a gel mani pedi, gel nail set and a dip color change. I came in with a good base, all toes proportional and shaped, and I came out of here with extremely misshapen toenails of various lengths and lumpy gel. Don't bother, choose a different place to get your nails done!! I was a first time customer, I arrived hopeful and left highly disappointed. I was assigned a new nail tech who spoke zero English. I chose the a "standard pedi and mani" which was supposed to include soak, clip, file, lotion massage, hot towel and polish...in that order. The pedi went fine. The mani started with soak, clip and file, followed by just polish. I asked about why no lotion massage or hot towel and she claimed she does that last...after the polish, whaaat!?! This is a training opportunity!! Needless to say, the polish was destroyed. I had no time for a second polish (the first took 45mins), so she removed the polish and I went to pay, thinking they would not charge full price for this fun experience. I was not pleased with the service at this facility at all. First I will say they were good about hand hygiene, temperature checks and mask mandating. I went with a partner and it was our first visit, no one gave us a list of services (specifically for pedicures). So, we got regular pedicures which were so meek. My technician picked and buffed down my cuticles so much that they were actually burning before, during and after the polish went on. The foot scrub portion was just annoying and tickling, the massage portion was horrible. There was no foot rub at all just lotion being lathered on my legs with no pressure applied. During the service our technicians STOPPED our pedicures so they could have a conversation with each other. Just overall not a good experience. I won't be back. read more

I wanted to like this place. The facility is really nice and the staff were nice as well. I went twice and got gel manicures. Both times my manicure lasted less than a week. It would always flake at the tips. I went to a new place and the tech asked me if the person who did my nails last time filed them after the gel topcoat was applied. The tech at perdido nail spa did file my nails after the gel was applied which explained why it was peeling off from the tip only. They should know better. I feel a little taken advantage of honestly and probably won't come back. I hope they aren't doing this to purposely make people's manicures not last as long. read more

This review is long overdue. I've never gone to another nail spa in Pensacola and honestly, don't even care to try to at this point. I've seen about 4 nail techs total since coming to Perdido Nail Spa for the last 10 months and decided to stick to making appointments with Jess who is great and super flexible with the times I can come in for appointments. Jess is wonderful but if it came down to it, I wouldn't be worried if she wasn't available because everyone else who has done my nails were great as well. I typically get a dip manicure and regular pedicure every 4-5 weeks and my nails still look great, no chips or cracks, just grown out by the time I come back in. As with any nail salon, just be vocal about the length and shape you want, but they DO listen to you here. read more

So confused about my experience. The guy who did my nails was kind of rude but I didn't notice at first because I was talking to my friend who was next to me. He did my toes first and they looked great, so I decided to have him give me a gel manicure as well. That is where everything went downhill.... First he asked me what shape I wanted for my fingernails. I told him I wanted them square with rounded corners and pretty short. He didn't understand what I was saying so he pulled out a chart and I pointed to the shape I liked. He THEN proceeded to cut my nails on my right hand so short and rounded that there was no turning back. I pulled my hand away and tried to correct him, but he still didn't understand. I filed a nail on my left hand and showed him, and then he understood. He then proceeded to try to correct the shape of the nails on my right hand with a nail file and they ended up SO short that it hurt!!! I let him proceed because I didn't realize how dumb they looked without polish on them yet. He kept going and painted both of my hands and kept giving me attitude when I didn't understand what he wanted me to do. He finally finished painting and proceeded to file my nails even SHORTER!!!!! Ouch!!!!!! Now the nails on my right hand are ridiculously short and stupid looking, while my left hand looks halfway decent. I got to the register to pay and they said $76 was my total. I was so confused because I was under the impression after looking at the menu of services that my pedi would be $38, my mani $25 and then $5 off for doing both. That adds up to $58, NOT $76. I paid it and left. But they girl explained that the $25 was only for the polish, NOT the manicure too. The manicure + gel is $40 apparently?!? Who gets gel polish without getting their nails cleaned up and cuticles trimmed?!?! The menu is deceiving. After sitting in my car for a second analyzing my nails, I realized one nail on my right hand wasn't painted all the way to the cuticle. I decided to be braver and go back in to have it fixed. They had a girl fix it this time and she was SO nice. She cleaned up the mess the guy made with the polish as well as she could. In the end they are bumpy and way too thick!!!! I am never getting a gel mani from him again. If I ever go back I am asking for the girl.... I wish I had never gotten the gel mani. A huge waste of $40!!!
