I love this salon, from the beginning they are very friendly and listen to what you want done ! It's very clean and cute. Ashley did my nails and when I say she perfected the shape, she really did that. She's very nice and so is the owner Hai. I will be coming here from now on. also there is a really friendly cute dog named Fluffy.

I took a chance coming here to get a refill and pedicure since most of the reviews were good. The young guy who did my nails was very nice. I showed him a picture of my nails done at my usual salon so he could have a good reference photo of the shape and length i wanted. The nails ended up being thicker and wider and not the thin almond shape i requested. My pedicure was done and it was also very thick and blotchy. You could see the brush strokes and had to try to repaint them again, but same outcome. They tried to blame it on my nail bed and then say it was the lighting. I paid $87 and now i will have to pay somewhere else to get them fixed. I would not recommend, i should have just asked to take off the polish as i was not satisfied.

Got my nails done 3.5 weeks ago and they still are looking great!!! I move to Florida 1.5 years ago and I haven't found a good place, until elite.

First time going to Elite Nails and Spa and I was pleased with their service! The salon is located in a great area! The lady that did my nails was very sweet and since it was my first time doing dipping powder I was afraid they'd look bulky but she took her time and I really liked the final look! It was $40 for the service which I thought was a bit pricey but I guess that's what all the other salons charge as well... I definitely plan on coming back :)

GET YOUR NAILS DONE HERE! Nina did my nails soooooo amazing. I wish I found her sooner! I've tried multiple nail salons in the plantation and sunrise area and not everyone can do natural nails good like this! She paid attention to detail. I just have dip on my natural nails. She was sooo friendly which I was so happy about. The establishment was very clean and had a airy, relaxing and positive vibe. She didn't rush and didn't hurt me either. I'm definitely a returning customer. They all do great work and have EXCELLENT customer service. You won't be disappointed!

Not speaking English is fine as long as you can get your job done well. But this lady doesn't even speak English so I try to explain what I need for my nails, but she keeps talking in her language in the air and on her phone trying to do something and looks at my nails and all of a sudden cuts a nail that I've been growing then asks me "good?" So I said no.. I don't like short nails please just file. Then she files without even looking and everything is not straight so I said "straight please" and she doesn't know what I'm saying but still on the phone. Then passes the phone to lady next to her and I see that the other person is translating on the phone about the nail tech buying her house.... really? You're not even listening to what I'm saying or even trying to listen to me, on your phone and ruining my nails and now just talking about buying your house? Then she gets upset because I keep trying to explain and closes her nail equipment box and just gets up talking in the air again and walks away. So I get up and told the owner I can't stay because she doesn't even know how to file nails. The owner tells me she's been doing nails for 10 years like they always say. It's not about the language. It's about your attitude and how you get your job done. But you didn't get any of them done. Stay home and talk on the phone if your only focus is buying a house.

I arrived a few minutes early but the timing was just right because she ran the hot water in the foot spa for me while finishing her other client. I love to sit & soak while getting my shiatsu massage. The salon was clean and tidy as usual, and, they added a new drying station. As I was drying my toes, a rainstorm hit us hard in that area. I don't know how much, but in a 20 to 30-minute window of time, the parking lot quickly flood. All of a sudden, the owner surprised me with a golf-size umbrella and offered to walk me to my car. I was so taken by her kindness--who does that these days! We walked together slowly, balancing on the outer rim of the grassy median so our feet wouldn't get wet. It was awesome! Needless to say, Nail Depot in Sawgrass is great! Stay tuned...I'm letting my nails grow!

Naturally, I returned when my daughter asked if we could get her nails done this weekend. I left this salon with my daughter being very upset the entire drive home. We spent more than two hours here, not because we were walk-ins and had to wait, as we were taken right in by the owner, but aside from him, and maybe two other techs, the rest proved to be novices when it comes to nails. The Deets: The nail tech doing the pedicure said we'd have to wait for the owner if we wanted acrylics but if we changed our minds and got dips, she could do them. What a mistake that was! She didn't perform the work that was asked. The color was off, the nails had grooves, the length and shape weren't what my daughter requested, and certainly didn't come close to the photo she had open the entire time on her phone as a guide to follow. In addition, the tech cut my daughter's cuticle and it bled! Then, they had to find another one to do the nail art which wasn't done correctly. (See the comparison photo!) In the end, we brought up all our concerns at checkout. The young girl up front was nice and apologized but she said there was nothing that could be done at that point. I was very disappointed; especially because I went in wanting to do something special for my child and spent nearly $120 on this visit. The Bottom Line: While the salon's aesthetics are pristine, it takes more than that to build clientele and grow a business successfully. The pricing may be comparable but the quality and service leaves much to be desired. Now I need to search for another salon to get the nails removed and redone because my daughter "hates" them even a day later and that is upsetting for me. Top Tip: Trust your fellow reviewers! Everyone has a bad day, but nine times out of ten, if a business does shoddy or less-than-good work and they don't offer to fix it--it's not personal--they've offered their best! Move on and give another business the opportunity to do things right.

I choose for dip nails, which cost $45. Unfortunately, by January 6th, the dip polish had already started falling off on two nails. Over the following days, more nails began to flake off until all of them were completely bare. For the remainder of my trip, my nails looked unkempt, with the leftover dip leaving my cuticles messy and unclean. I've had dip nails done at other salons before, and they've always lasted 2-3 weeks. This experience was extremely disappointing, and due to the poor quality of the service, I will not be returning to this salon.

Hopefully our experience gives others an idea of what to expect. I wish I had read the other Yelp Reviews before we went to Zen Spa. Other people have experienced the same roughness in their massages, and the same coerciveness with tipping and payment. Swedish Massage I booked a massage for my 20+ old son. He is an athlete and has had many massages at other spas, including deep issue/sports massage. When we arrived, the "therapist" suggested a 90-minute session for $110. For today, my son did not want a deep tissue massage so I asked her to confirm that this session would be Swedish and he could tell her to make the pressure as light as he wanted. She confirmed yes. Payment and 30% (or higher) "Suggested Tipping" When it was time to pay, she asked me to hand her my credit card, and then as she initiated the payment, she asked how much I wanted to tip. Since it was a $110 session and I customarily tip 20%, I said "$22". However, she did not just add $22. She pointed to a printed sign that listed "Suggested Tips for a $110 session" and the smallest suggested tip was $30. This is a 27% tip, far above customary. In all other businesses I've dealt with, I am the one to tap my credit card, and I can privately enter whatever amount of tip that I choose. But at Zen Spa, the therapist held my credit card hostage while asking me to tell her how much I wanted to tip, as if it was a set amount obligation and not the client's choice to show appreciation for good service. I was taken aback by how presumptuous she was, but decided that I would just tip the 27% and be done with it. The payment should have been $110 for the service plus $30 for the tip, for a total of $140. However, the receipt total said $142. I pointed to the sign that said the 90-minute Swedish massage was $110, so the total should have been $140. She kept insisting that her total was correct, and only after I kept asking did she point to a different sign that said that there was a $2.00 fee for using a credit card. My guess is that they were passing on the credit card companies' fees to the client, but they didn't want to change the published price list, so they created a smaller sign that said that there would be a $2.00 extra fee. Really deceptive. Rough Massage and Broken Capillaries After we left, I asked my son how it went. He said it was a terrible experience. We understand that there may be bruising or redness, but he has never had that with deep tissue massages at other places. But at Zen Spa, with a supposedly "Swedish massage," the woman was so rough with her hands and a tool -- perhaps a massage roller -- that he had to tell her to lighten up. The result of all the roughness is a back full of broken capillaries and inflamed skin (see photos attached). This is not normal. Less important, and rather funny, was that the spa room smelled like garlic. This place was definitely not peaceful and zen. One positive thing I can say about the spa is that they take precautionary safety measures because of the neighborhood. Another therapist/owner said that they lock the doors to the building when they are in sessions because "there are lot of bad boys" in the area.
