I made a last minute same day appointment today for 1pm and my lash artist was Sydney. I explained that I previously went to a Russian lash artist and I felt like I did not get the set I requested where I used to go. I like classy lashes, not too dark, and I especially do not like when the ends are thick and long. I am so happy to say that Sydney executed the look I asked for to perfection. They aren't dark, because I requested brown lashes and they are not too long but long enough to notice, and the shape came out amazing! The salon was clean upon arrival, and they have a cute backdrop of white flowers and an LED light that I thought was so girly and fun! I called and asked if they were doing a $99 special to remove and replace individual Lashes. The receptionist said yes. She said there was an availability the same day when I walked in the girl took me back. I told her I did not want them thick and I want them mixed with brown not big black eyelashes because my hair is blonde. When I came out the girl said it just needed to be touched up not replaced, so the old lashes were not removed -the girl told me my bill was 160 and I asked her about the $99 and she said that I had a master stylist and I got volume lashes. No warning on the upsell .I didn't ask for the master stylist or the full BLACK lashes. No warning on the extra 30 dollars for the 'master stylist' or the 30 extra for 'volume'lashes-Snotty young girl at the counter. She was playing with a necklace in her mouth .They try to make you join the club to get discounts, but they really just want to get a hold of your credit card so they could charge you every month. read more

If you VALUE YOUR TIME, stay far away from the Amazing Lash in Davie. I had a disastrous experience there about two and a half weeks ago. My stylist, Trinity, barely spent 40 minutes on my lash refill when it usually takes 1 to 1.5 hours, especially for special occasions. While she worked, I heard scissors and felt her trimming my lashes--a first in my over 4 years as an Amazing Lash client. Why trim lashes meant to be a specific length? Shockingly, just 3 days later, almost all my lashes had fallen off. I contacted the front desk to report this issue. They asked if I could come in immediately, which was impossible given my schedule of 5 classes and two jobs. I typically reserve Saturdays for my refills. The receptionist, with a noticeable attitude, booked me with Faith the following Saturday. When I met with Faith, I explained my ordeal with Trinity and how it baffles me that someone could care so little about the time and money clients invest in these services, only to need another session in less than a week. Faith suggested it might be the humidity, but as a long-time client, I know how to care for my lashes. I don't do sports or hit the gym. My job is remote, and I only walk 10 minutes from my parking spot to class. How could humidity be an issue when I spent the weekend at home and the weekdays in class? Disappointed but recognizing it wasn't Faith's fault, she took about 50 minutes to refill my nearly gone lashes. Yet, a week later, most of my lashes had fallen out again. I was furious and disappointed to see this level of support for employees who don't care about their work and time or the money and time clients spend. Being a full-time student with two full-time jobs, dealing with these "inconveniences" is HARD. A week and a half later, in a bind between work and school, I drove all the way down to Coral Gables, arriving 20 minutes late to my class, because waiting until Saturday would have meant needing a FULL SET. I reached out to Amazing Lash in Coral Gables and got an appointment with Lianet (THE BESTTT). She took nearly TWO HOURS to do what the others couldn't or wouldn't. The difference in service between Davie and Coral Gables was night and day. Coral Gables truly CARES about customer service. Marcia is an exceptional manager who maintains a POSITIVE environment. In conclusion, though Davie is closer to my home, I'd RATHER travel to Miami for a refill that WILL LAST. I strongly recommend all current and future customers choose Coral Gables over Davie to avoid the frustration and disappointment I experienced. read more

I am sick and tired of the drama and headache from this Salon!! I have been charged over and over and over again after I have canceled not once but three times. It's been six months of continuous charges like I am still a member then someone had the nerve to say they were going to charge me like I was not a member even though I have money pulled from the bank like I am one. I left a message asking for a refund. Then I was charged again. I thought why not use the credit so I called to make the appointment. I asked how many credits I had and was told five. I made the appointment then right before I was about to show up my husband called to confirm and I was told there was no more credits and it would be $300. Yet if we had not called, I would've driven 30 minutes to an appointment without being warned that my credits were no longer there a mere few hours later. One time I actually received an eye infection and cut immediately after getting my lashes done. The ophthalmologist told me it was 100% from getting them done. No one at the Salon seemed to care. Then there was that one time, not just me but almost every single customer and former customer of Amazing Lash was charged hundreds and thousands of dollars because of a glitch in the system people were unable to pay their rent. I heard some were charged nearly $4000 at one point. Why continue to use the system if it does not function correctly. Another issue is the extreme noise and behavior out front when trying to get my lashes done and relax! Multiple techs have told me they find it obnoxious as well including other clients that were getting their lashes done or have gotten them done there. There are extreme communication issues, the fact that the manager is never there along with problems with the system, and the poor quality of beds and other items used make it extremely uncomfortable to get my lashes done including glue that burns my eyes and I have not had that issue elsewhere... also the Lash retention is horrible. I have been getting extensions done since 2018 and have gone to many places throughout Miami and Broward area and this is by far the worst experience and I went there on and off for almost 2 years because of the subscription. I have found several other techs that will actually set up in my home for less, and the lashes have lasted longer and look better. Not sure what you have going on with this Salon but it is unacceptable. I need EVERY credit refunded. I am still waiting on a few. I absolutely will not be coming back there. I have met many people that are former customers and have complained about similar issues. This is the last time I will be asking to cancel my subscription. I was told over the phone that it was canceled in the system yet here we are. To top it all off, you want to cancel my appointment and ask me to reschedule it last minute. Welcoming and professional. My technician was a "master technician" ( which cost $35 extra to an introductory offer). She was great. Informative regarding lash options and on pricing and she is was thorough and quick. As far as the lashes.. they are synthetic. The kind someone like me would want cost more. I'm no stranger to lash extensions. These curl a bit more than I prefer but I'm making it work. There is a membership which allows the fil in fees to be much less ( the cost I usually paid in Atlanta) but since it's franchise, you have to go there only. For the person who lives in the neighborhood and likes to get their lashes done in a pretty environment I say go for it. I think I am going to look for someplace closer to where I live. I used this studio when it first opened in 2017. Took them a few months to get my lashes exactly how I wanted. When I moved out of state, I cancelled my membership as there were no locations where I moved to. I came back and decided to join them again in mid 2021 There are a few things about this place that kind of didn't sit well with me. First off, locations seem to have different prices. Secondly, they were supposed to have notes on what was used the last time and there weren't any!! Although the girl did a good job, she made them too long and the girl that was servicing my lashes arrived 10 mins late "due to traffic", yet she seemed to have enough time to stop at McDonalds as she was carrying a bag in. She also kept on stopping our consultations to text her husband back. Not very professional. Specially when she mad a comment that she was "already 30 mins behind schedule and she had back to back customers that day"... well, may e if you arrived on time... The third thing that upset me is that, they billed me under a credit card I used over 3 years ago?!? What happened to the card I handed at check out?!? Now I have been on hold for over 10 mins to get this resolved and it seems the people working there are just clueless. I'm canceling this membership and going somewhere else. So I found Amazing Lash Studio cause I wanted a fill. I had never been there before. Bree did my lashes. She chose a lash that was thinner than the lashes I had on. So it literally looks unbalanced. I wanted a full set of lashes for a wedding where I was a bridesmaid, and I found Amazing Lash Studio through Yelp. I already had a set of lashes from a different salon, and asked if I could get a refill on them. ALS said they could do a refill on lashes from another place. Unfortunately, my initial set couldn't be refilled, so I had them completely removed and went for a brand new set. All new customers get their first set for $79.99. You can choose the style that you want, the length of lashes, and ALS also offers fuller volumes lashes (3D and 6D) for an additional charge. The studio is very clean inside. You lay down on a padded table and get a blanket and pillow for your knees. I'd also suggest bringing earphones because refills take 1 hour (full sets take 2 hours) and you can listen to your own music during the appointment. My first stylist was Yosi; she was super sweet and worked quickly. When she was done, I wasn't WOWED by my lashes. I thought they were still sparse (I dont have a lot of lashes to begin with, and the new set didn't really fill in much else) but they were still pretty and light weight. The next day, I got a call from ALS, just giving a general check up with the lashes and asking if I had any questions. When I went in for my refill, I had Jessica as my stylist. I had a better grasp of what I wanted with my lashes, and she listened perfectly. We also discovered that Yosi originally gave me the "Natural" set of lashes, when I originally said that I wanted the "Sexy". I love my refill set even more. More details: I have a lot of lashes and have gotten them done dozens of times by individual stylists in Houston and NJ. I recently moved here and my first appointment with amazing lash-Davie was on 9/17/18. I was pleased with how they looked, though I did notice they seemed a bit sparse (especially for a fresh set on clean, healthy lashes considering I rarely ever wear eye makeup). I found myself coming back after only 6 DAYS because I noticed BOTH EYES had less than 50% still on (my right eye was much worse than the left at about 20-30%). I am used to my right eye losing lashes sooner due to the fact that I usually sleep on my right side, but I have never experienced that drastic of a loss let alone at only 6 days in. I booked a fill for this past Sunday (9/23) and the stylist started working and said that ALL of the lashes on my right eye had fallen off just by her just brushing through them. She explained that she would do as much as she could to make them look even in the hour that we had (their typical time for a fill) but there was no attempt made to schedule me for a longer time slot to correctly and completely finish the job - which I was expecting considering they were clearly done incorrectly the first time. She also asked why I didn't say anything when I was called for a follow-up on my first visit. I thought that was funny considering I never received a follow-up call. Now, it's been 2 days since my fill (currently Tuesday night - See pictures and if you can zoom in you'll see just how many lashes are) and ONLY 8 DAYS since my first appointment. I am so disappointed that I will be cancelling my membership (that I haven't even gotten a chance to use yet) and will be looking elsewhere to get my lashes COMPLETELY done, otherwise I'd be going to this place every week just to have my lashes look presentable. I understand keeping the schedule moving, but the schedule they have in place compromises the quality of work, when the quality of work should be priority. The only reason why I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because the place was neatly kept and the staff (for the most part) were very nice. UPDATE: My membership was officially cancelled in November/December (I'm in school and it took me a while to get the paperwork to them - they also require a 30 day notice so if you're less than 30 days from your next scheduled payment, you still get charged for that month). After my last payment went through, I kept receiving calls saying I had credit because my credit card was STILL being charged. Every courtesy call I got, I informed them that I should not be getting charged because I cancelled in December and was told every time that they could see my cancellation document on file and that a manager would get back to me. The techs are great, (Especially Sasi) however better business practices are awful. On more than one occasion I have experienced where the Davie, FL studio has unethically charged my card erroneously. The first time was in the summer of 2019 where I had to put a hold on charges due to a high volume of credits. I filled out all the paperwork, however I was still charged. When I called to complain, I was told it was an error on the manager's part as she is the only one to issue hold/credits and she simply forgot to enter the information in the system. The second time was recently. On December 7th I filled out all the paper work to cancel my membership as I've been dissatisfied with the location's business practices. I was told everything would be set and I would not be charged in January. After my last appointment on Dec. 21st, I asked the gal in the front desk if all was set as this was my last appointment. In addition, I needed to cancel all my future appointments. I was told all appointments were canceled and I should not have any issues. They could not put in the cancellation as the manager was the only one that had permission and the paperwork was given to the manager. Well, on Jan 2nd, $109.99 was debited out of my account. I immediately called and no answer; which I left a message with my information; how upset I was and to have the manager or owner call me immediately. No call was returned. When I called in the evening, the gal who answered the phone was extremely condescending and said there was nothing in the system. She asked if I cancelled the contract; which I confirmed I did on the 7th almost a month earlier. She said the manager had left for the day but will call me back as soon as she reached out to the manager. I was called back a few minutes stating that a refund was issued. I paid the 129.99 and every single time I went there I still had to pay 70-80 dollars not including a tip. So with me going twice a month how am I spending 400 dollars on lashes when I am a member. Then I canceled my membership and decided to use my last "free" fill and they charged me non member pricing so the session that should have been included in my member ship was $220! I am outraged. I went to Deka Lash and did their membership and when I left I paid nothing because that's how a membership works. Don't say it's included if it's not. When She had her baby In March i had to search for another person. I was very skeptical about going to one of these lash shops because the girl that had done mine for so long told me that they use synthetic, they may not be clean, and they probably are not well trained. I was really happy with the room I was in, it was well lit, clean, nice and peaceful. Since my first time, I've signed up for twice a month refills for 109.00 I don't need to come in in between bc they stay full. It's been 4 months. I've never been happier.
