They came to our clinic soon after we called, checked the lock, evaluated the problem, started to work in outdoor weather in the 30s. You can sense the confidence when someone knows what they are doing, later on, we found out the guy has been working in the industry for 20 years. Okay so I have 3 stars because of the service. It was quick and reliable. I was communicating with the service worker, Mike, who was very nice. The lock looks great and very secure. However, VERY pricey. The total was $554.00. I understand that the door had to be drilled so that the new lock can fit and the lock is of good quality. The quote came in at $495 when he got there and then there was the $59 service charge I didn't know about. So yes the response time was quick and reliable BUT there is a hefty price to pay. The only reason why I said yes was because my tenant took time out of her work day to be there and I didn't want her to keep going back and forth for different quotes. read more

Ben was super helpful and even though I had no control card to copy my key from, he was very accommodating and directed me to their other location on the UWS, giving me the time and location and contact people to reach. He also talked to them beforehand and once I got there they had expected me to visit and understood what I needed. Even though the UWS location was not close to the Kips Bay location I originally wanted, the other locksmiths I called on the weekends didn't have the machinery to make the copies and/or were not fully open on Saturday. The prices were really decent ($10 a key for the MulTLock) plus tax, and I made 2 copies in under 5 minutes. Thank you! read more

Felt like get scammed. They actually sent a guy from another company instead of Elite Locksmith to open your door. You paid ridiculously high fee to feed two companies. Don't call them to open your door. I was locked out of my apartment. Called them to ask if they could send a staff to open the lock. The lady on the phone told me the total cost started from $60+, I agreed to the price since it was pretty reasonable. Then a young man who could barely speak English showed up. He told us the service fee was $59, plus drilling the lock cost another $99. I had to agree to it because it was really late at night, I couldn't find another locksmith. After he drilled the lock, I asked why he didn't replace the lock, he then told me it cost $85 to replace the lock. So, in the end, it cost me $240 to open the door and got a new lock!! The receipt he gave me said he was from "Omega Lock & Security" that located at 1562 3rd Ave (between 87 & 88 street). read more

I broke my car key fob. The key was in great condition so I just bought the key fob on Amazon which came with a key. I just needed to switch the keys but didn't have the right tools.
