Do not hire Elite Installations. Elite Installations was nothing short of a nightmare. After a flood in our home while we had a 21-month-old and a 6-week-old they appeared to be doing things correctly. We later realized that was only because we were stuck in a hotel and couldn't see the shortcuts they were taking. They took advantage of a young family, trying to get back in their home. Fast-forward a year, and the truth came out: - They put the wrong carpet in one of our rooms. I will blame postpartum fog for not saying something sooner. - They installed our toilet in blatant violation of MA plumbing code, it wasn't even secured to the floor. This is basic, entry-level competence they couldn't manage. - they installed hardwood floors that warped and when they replaced it with LVT, they dint remove all the hardwood and now 1.5 years later it's warping again. - They did multiple other things incorrectly, and after constantly following up with them for 5 months, they did ultimately fix them. Despite constantly hyping themselves up on Facebook and recommending themselves at every turn, our experience proved they are not honest, they cut corners whenever possible, and they absolutely do NOT stand behind their work once they're paid. Look up the reviews, look up the litigation against them (which are being added too regularly), our situation is unfortunately not unique. To be clear, I have given elite MULTIPLE opportunities to remedy these issues and they refuse. If you value your home, money, your time, or your sanity, stay far away from this company. They are the last people you want to trust with your home. read more

Nightmare! Jerry is a snake and takes advantage of customers. He creates delays prolonging projects and he is dishonest. He takes deposits and then alters the contract and does not credit the customer. This man is a thief(We should have known by the multiple lawsuits pending with Elite) This was an oversight on our part . We were recommended to Elite by a friend but it has been a horror show and we will never use them for another project. Jerry should have his license revoked. As you probably see this review is pretty big, it is just a small part of what we have experienced.Please, read it if you don't want to spend tons of $ and at the end to get BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!! The "journey" with Elite Installation started Dec.2021.Andrea was so nice and responsive until we paid deposit and sign a contract.I met with Jerry and this initial visit took literally 2min.Our project is Bathroom renovation-converting bathtub to a walking shower.I was told by him that they are very busy and they will start the job April 2022.I understand this is an estimate, but the actual work started mid June 2022, after multiple postponements and countless text msgs and phone calls.If some how I get Andrea to pick up the phone she always comes with a excuse-COVID, "very busy", "you are next,I promise","Do not worry my friend, we will take care of you".My favorite is COVID, she used it one more time as an excuse.I should mention that I was dealing with 3 different Elite employees /project admins!!! We are only 6 months into the "Journey".We have been told that the project wit take about 8 weeks.Not bad!!!!They show up 2 days-next 3 no show.Next week not a single day, next week just dropping some materials and etc.,but they always send you a new bill!!!!.Three months after the start we have paid 80% of the cost and the job was done no more then 40%!!If you skip a payment Andrea was starting to call/text."We are almost done, this is easy, this is easy ..."We are 3 months in now without the bathroom!!! They also did couple of plumbing changes that was not on their own plan and my wish too.They never mentioned it and I was not informed too.They just show up without notice, and not only that, they install different style fixtures(we made our selection choice months ago).They even install some of them on the wrong wall and etc.This can easily be fixed with one phone call!!Nope!!Poor Kim(Project Administrator)had to apologize hundred times!!! Tile installation poor.I will also attach some pics for you to see. Unacceptable job.Plastering/painting job also very sloppy.They had to redo it couple of times.Very unprofessional. We are only 5 months into the "Bath renovation" and we only had a toilet functioning!!!!The sliding shower door is the TOP OF THE CAKE!!!They come for a template and after that I find(surprisingly) that another glass door company will do our shower doors and mirror.I was told that they work with Oasis shower door and I went 8 months ago to their show room in Weymouth and choose a door style and hardware!!!!Finally we got Oasis to come and template the doors. Oasis shower door deserve another "GOOD"review too, but this is a different story. Six more weeks for Oasis to fabricate the doors!!!And guess what?We got the shower doors installed but with the wrong hardware/handle!!!Another round of phone calls/texts!!In the meantime we had a pretty bad leak under the sliding panel.Another round of phone calls/text, trip to Oasis and etc.Andrea and Jerri refused to give me Oasis contacts, so I can find out on my own. According to Andrea and Kim the right handle panel is ordered, we never got the right one.After some adjustment done by Oasis we still had a leak. Literarily poodles!! The only smooth, easy was dealing with Maks from Superior stone(highly recommend him), witch Elite is using as a subcontractor.He installed the vanity top and couple more details in the shower, very professional and responsive. Our window and door replacement project hasn't started after signing a contract and paid deposit in August 2020. Andrea found all excuses to delay the project let us believe they will get the job done. SO I was on a facebook group... I just bought a new house and was having trouble picking colors (white is white, right?) Someone had asked a question about colors and out of the 15 responses 8 recommended Andrea from Elite, so I shot her a DM, she responded right away and asked for pictures and started giving me advice right away. It was honestly unbelievable, she suggested coming over to look at the space. She came over, totally covid safely. She came in and every pick I made was updated, my house is so much more beautiful than it would have been. She did not push any services but ended up making some recommendations for some challenges I had and I ended up using her services for a few. My favorite part is she clearly loves what she does, answers her phone and texts immediately and has a sense of urgency. I highly recommend her. FYI her prices are beyond reasonable. read more

As the result of a botched DIY project, I needed a small wall area replastered. I was worried it wouldn't be a big enough job but Andrea was really understanding and right away got me an appointment for the following week. Over all had a great quick experience. We built our own wood stairs and we totally screwed up on the stain color. Elite installations (Andrea) helped talk me off the ledge and helped me choose a new stain that would coordinate with our floors. They got us scheduled in their books quickly and did an awesome job. Although the other reviews on this page are glowing, I did NOT have the same experience. Let me just say I think I am a reasonable, practical person. All I asked for from this company was honesty and clarity. My husband and I bought a huge fixer upper house and got multiple quotes from various contractors. We decided on this company based on reviews online, a personal reference and their word that they could work with us and make our home what we wanted it to be within our budget. After deciding to go forward with elite, we went through WEEKS of back and forth with Jerry, meetings, emails, and even picking out kitchen cabinets. After all that, a less than adequate contract was presented to us with absolutely NO details or specifics on prices. Just a bottom line number at the end. That number was well over what we had already mentioned (multiple times) was our absolute max. We went back to them with multiple edits / questions asking specifics on what they were going to do, and if there was anything to do to decrease the price. We were then emailed 2 days later with... "At this this time of year, we are very busy and overflowing with an excess amount of work and we pride ourselves in only taking on what we feel we can handle with quality and precision. Unfortunately, as much as I would like to proceed forward with our plans, I will need to put a stop to them as I do not feel that my company is the correct match for your needs at this time." ....... ??? Um. what. The scope of the project did not change, nothing we mentioned was any different than what we had talked about or asked about before. The only thing that changed was that we were asking for specifics - again, for them to be honest and clear about what they were going to do. I guess that does not work with their values. We are now WEEKS behind schedule, and although we have found other people to work on our house, they are booked out for weeks due to the busy time of year. We were supposed to move in to this house in a week as our rental lease is up, and now we are left stranded because of them. I can't say enough good things about this family-owned business. After meeting with several other seemingly overpriced contractors, we ended up hiring Elite as their pricing was reasonable (finally!) and came highly recommended from friends. Andrea the designer is an interior design maven/unicorn - she gives great, honest advice about where to spend and what just needs a little touch up or paint refresh. She is absolutely hilarious and, while renovation is stressful, she'll keep you grounded, happy and laughing the whole way. Her husband Jerry runs the construction side and they were rock stars! They stuck to the budget, the crew is hard working and friendly, and they take responsibility if there is an issue, how refreshing :) It's just an all around awesome team. I recently had the pleasure of working with Elite Installations on some improvements for my home. They were highly recommended by others and they did not disappoint. Even though our job was not huge we were treated as if it was. The work we had done was painting two bathrooms and the kitchen. We also had a backsplash installed in the kitchen. Andrea helped us with picking out colors for the paint and tile for the backsplash. Her color selection was PERFECT. Every step of the process was stress free. I was very pleased at first with the quick response once I contacted this company. The lady was very nice but I did not like how she was bashing other companies, I found it unprofessional but decided to still give them a chance. I scheduled an appointment to have the general contractor come by and look at my project. I gave him all the information requested and weeks later still have not heard back. I emailed them and was told I would hear back with a quote within a few days, its been 2 weeks and still nothing. If you have enough jobs booked and are too busy tell me that from the beginning dont string me along. I found another company in the meantime, the job is complete and beautiful, I will laugh at them if I ever get a response. read more

Jerry and Andrea Rubin are an amazing team to work with, as is the rest of the Elite Team. We bought a fixer upper in October of 2015. After much planning, we were so excited to build the kitchen addition of my dreams. A year later, I had a newborn baby (9/2016) and found myself about 6 months away from the job being finished. It was just too stressful and we had to part ways from our contractor. Our biggest challenge in our project was the floor that we planned to install for our entire first floor. It was a mess! It was a heated slab floor, complete with slate tile that couldn't come up, half plywood subfloor, and uneven spots galore. We met with about 5 flooring contractors, and we were searching for an expert. Someone who knew about glue, and nail down applications. Someone who knew about radiant heat slabs. Someone who knew whether or not we should put the floor or the cabinets down first. We were skeptical and our trust had been broken after working with our previous contractor. ProSource hardwoord dealers in Canton, MA told us that before we choose a hardwood, we had to call their installer, Elite Installations. The girl on the phone was so enthusiastic telling me, "When you call, Andrea will pick up. You will love her." Boy, was she right! Andrea talked to me about not just the floor installation, but about being a mom and about the challenges of owning a house that needs work. She is so positive and upbeat. We chatted for a very long time during our first phone call. Just like another customer wrote, it was like I'd known her my whole life. She sent Jerry over within days, and he is SUCH an expert. He is extremely professional, knowledgable, and takes planning conversations very seriously. He wants to know EXACTLY what you want done, and he clearly is one to be extremely thorough. Both Andrea and Jerry give you the feeling that they are going to be pickier than than the most picky customer - and that is a great feeling. Jerry came to our house more than once to discuss the upcoming floor install. It was great to have so many in person conversations with our installer. The Elite Installation team showed up on time, finished the project within the expected amount of time, and did a more amazing job that I could have ever imagined. They cut the floor so perfect around the already-installed cabinetry, that it looks as if the cabinets were placed right on top of an already installed floor. The workmanship is amazing. If you are thinking of installing any kind of floor, tile, or rug...Andrea and Jerry and the Elite Team are your best bet in the greater Boston area. read more

Jerry Rubin, owner, scoped out the job and dispatched an excellent crew on installation day to demo and remove my old flooring and lay down the new floating floor in my large kitchen. They accomplished the entire job in one day, including leaving me two fully prepped thresholds for installation pending completion of floor refinishing in the adjacent rooms. Project coordination by Andrea Rubin from the office was superb. I am one satisfied customer. You would have to be bats to look elsewhere for flooring installation service. read more

It was a small job -- wrapping up some work we had already done to the basement -- so it was nice to have them work with us on completing the basement as a playroom for the kids. I was referred to this company by my tile shop and I couldn't be more pleased!! I hired them to do a marble backsplash in my kitchen. They responded to my inquiry quickly and patiently answered my many questions. Jerry came out to do the estimate within a couple of days and was professional, friendly and a pleasure to work with. Just had my bathroom redone by elite and it's amazing. Everyone was so friendly, professional and talented. From the owners, Jerry and Andrea to all the workers. Nelson tiled our shower. We chose white subway in a brick layer. Jerry and his team took care of the Reno, building new walls, waterproofing and tiling the shower and floor. The guys are very hard working, they were at my house from 8 to 6 just about every day till they were done.So happy with the results. We had carpet installed and they did a crappy job. The material is very loose and when we asked them to come back to fix it they wanted to charge us more. They are extremely unprofessional and don't know how to communicate. We strongly urge you to hire someone else for carpet services. read more

If you want 70% of the job done very well and the other 30% crappy, poor workmanship, lack of attention to detail, then this is your company. Additionally, they are not easy to work with. Poor follow-up on their part throughout the whole process; I had to keep things going by contacting them repeatedly over a couple of months, for every aspect and stage of the installation process (to get a measurement, to get a quote, to plan the work, get them to show up; get them back to re-work all the poor workmanship. IF the work was done correctly the first time, this would not be such a big deal. This is not a customer focused business. They are not open to any inputs, feedback or suggestions. They believe or at least tell you, they did no wrong. Our project involved Elite installing LVT (luxury vinyl title) and carpet in a few rooms. Do they even realize or care they have multiple 1 ratings (lowest possible) on Yelp and other rating sites? read more
