Good service... could be better. I brought my Chromebook that needed a new keyboard and touch-pad. The tech (forgot name but wore glasses, was slender, and had a small beard) that looked at it was honest, professional, and gave me a fair out the door quote. He said it would take a week, but ended up taking longer for some reason. Since I could only go to their store on the weekend, I was told the parts would be in by the following Saturday - didn't happen. I had to wait for 2 weeks to get my laptop back to the store because I couldn't come in during the week. The owner was a little rough around the edges, but the technician was great and easy to talk to. Overall, would recommend this place. Excellent service, knowledgeable staff. They gave my computer a complete "tune-up", which saved me from buying a new one, and the tech was willing to take the time to explain what was going on with it in lingo I could understand. A couple months after my initial visit I went back because of an error message that kept popping up on my screen. My laptop fan needed replacing, so I went here and got it fixed for about 160$ total. A bit on the steep side but I needed it so OK. After the repair laptop seemed ok even if new fan was a bit loud. It's a little less than 6 months later and my fan is already having issues (the same one) and they told me the warranty was only for 3 MONTHS! Like...seriously? I took my laptop to a different place and they told me that this elite computer place left out important screws and didn't make sure my fan and heat sink were okay with thermal place. Elite Computers is absolutely the best hands down! So over all the "tech idiots" at Best Buy, Target, Office Depot etc! Their prices are outrageous and they have people who clearly are not trained nor have experience in the field. I needed a SATA hard drive adapter to troubleshoot a laptop hard drive, and thought I would have to go all the way to FRY'S to get one. I walked into Elite Computers on the off chance that they may have one, and they actually had several different ones. I got what I needed, and the price was only a couple of dollars more than FRY'S, money I would have spend in gas driving all the way up there. One is always skeptical about computer repair businesses just like a mechanic in that you never really know whether the diagnostics are accurate and they are simply ripping you off. Our experience at this place was nothing like that at all and in fact I would recommend this place to any family, friends or fellow yelpers. First I took my daytrade desktop to the Geeks at Best Buy to fix a OS error and fix the 6 monitor video card, pay 220+ for the express service, after 2 days, they did not fix my monitors and OS error came back on, they just clean it and by doing so disconect my CD-ROM and one of the hard disks. Found Joe at Elite computers, told them I was in a hurry cus I daytrade all mornings. they start working on it right way, fix what Best Buy screw for free and fix my 6 monitors and OS problem. I first choose them as they were open late and I could drop off my computer after work. Nathan greeted me right away. I was there to get all my pics and videos off an old broken computer that would no longer turn on. He took it apart right in front of me attached my hard drive to his computer and could see hard drive wasn't operating correctly. He explained my options let me ask questions and wrote me up. Next day or 2 they called me back they fixed my hard drive! I bought a mobile drive and they copied everything for me. Super happy to have all my family photos back. After the last update to Windows 10 pushed by Microsoft, my computer became buggy and ultimately melted into a puddle. Since I've been playing with these things since 1985, I thought I'd be able to resolve this. Worked all day. Finally, admitted defeat at 10pm last night. This morning tried a couple of "things" to reload/reboot with no luck. Called the pros from Dover (Elite Computer). Dropped the machine off at 1pm today, it was returned at 5:15, completely updated. was charged 120 to get my ipad mini fixed... i gave them plenty of leeway time to fix it assuming they were a professional shop... got it back with the screen acting funky...went back to address the issue..they blamed it on the digitizer ...i was cool with the swap for a new digitizer at no cost ..went back again and got it back..and the screen was still dancing..at this point they gave up and gave me half of the repair cost 60 bucks..went to another shop..and was mentioned that the contact points on my ipads motherboard were shot..thanks elite computers you made my ipad a brick... read more

My laptop battery life was like 20 minutes and I need a new battery for an old laptop. At Elite Computers the service was very friendly and fast.
